Had previously picked up material for a building project. Some materials were missing that were ordered and paid for. Went back 7 months later with receipts and we were pleasantly surprised at the FABULOUS service we got. Rick in customer pick up was unbelievably helpful. Great service all around!! Well continue to shop at Menards.

At 4 PM today I stopped by the. Menards. I had tons of friendliness from the customers but the check out? Seriously Pierre? No welcome..no thank you. Just downright rude. The 11% rebate is supposed to speak for the store now? No voice among those in the check out? Not worth it. Get someome who ENJOYS their job and people...too bad.

Way understaffed for a Sunday afternoon. Two employees couldnt help me with a bed because they didnt know about beds. John who works bed, was on phone for over 15 minutes working with a customer on weather they wanted to have him order for them. Once done, John helped me but wasnt thrilled. I got the bed but trying to get someone to get it down off the shelf was a hassle. John ended up finding a machine to go up and get it. What a hassle. I should have bought at my local store and hauled it the 5 hours to SD. Lesson learned. Just be ready to get the run around. No one seemed to care that I spent $1100.00 . Very disappointed !

Didnt get much help inside. Outside help was great as always. However, the lumber was damaged so that lead into problems as I had to rent a flatbed to go after what was needed. A call went in first and we were told they had it all in stock. I guess they were right but they didnt allow for the damage. Now what? Another trip another cost for a flatbed and gas? Wow. Very disappointed. Not a good day.

I have done my best to be as patient as I can with this store and their inconsistencies. I buy the same product quarterly...every time I have to ask for help finding it. It has to be modified...today they sent me out the receiving doors to use the chop saw. Can anyone give me decent directions/instructions no. Can any staff stop, no. So after spanning inside the store twice, outside yard twice I find the chop saw, and have to get back to my job.I get up front and can barely breath due to moving so fast, and the mask. I took it down to try to catch my breath and the cashier, says put your mask up treated me like I had the plague. never said hello, nothing.I am fed up, and will do everything in my power to not return to this store. 3k steps in 15 mintues, no help. and yes I called the store first. The response wasnt great. its corporate and they have no control. They have 100% control of customer service and being decent people They have control of proper signage and attempting to help people.

This morning when I went to Menards, I was so happy to see the signs on the main entrance doors that said : Masks are required in our store. Thanks Menards for showing that you care about your employees and your customers.

This store was so rude about mask wearing. I have 6 small children and I had 2 employees jump on me about my kids having to wear a mask in their store. One employee said the dont have to wear a mask if they are in a basket, so I put 3 children in 2 baskets and walked around and couldnt find what we came for, so we left. When will people and retailers realize the pandemic is over and we are in the endemic now. I was so disappointed with Menard. Im glad Pierre has a Runnings.

Its always a privilege visiting the worlds largest menards, not only do you get the tools and resources to get the job done. You also get your steps in just putting your cart away. I hope everyone enjoys this place as much as I do.

Menard has been a great gift to our town. As with all box chain stores the usual gripe with local businesses has ensued. The unbelievable access to products that were unavailable previously is astounding. Menard is simply the most affordable place to buy nearly everything they sell. The mail in rebates are tops. The staff has always been helpful. Literally every employee Ive spoken with helped me perfectly. Knowledgeable and courteous.

Shopping for flowers. Ok selection even though i saw many dry and wilted onesChecker was not friendly. Did not say anything to us. No hello or even a thank you have a nice day. Usually we have very friendly interactions at checkout. Male supervisor was not friendly either.Customer service is lacking in this store lately. Disappointed

The only thing more rotten than the wood is the management! We tried to buy some plywood and it was the most warped thing weve ever seen. My 80 year old father when through a dozen pieces looking for a straight sheet of 4x8 while an employee just sat there and watched, never offered to help. The management didnt care and told us to take it or leave it.

Mandatory mask is bs because they dont do anything but make it hard to breathe and cause lung infection.

We brought our trailer with us today to buy thousands of dollars in flooring, doors, and bathroom vanities to finish up our rental property we are building. Apparently as of Monday all of a sudden you have a mandatory mask policy. Really? After months of this going on. We will be taking our business to Rapid City or ordering through someone else. Im not wearing a mask now.

We come from out of town to eat shop and spend money in Pierre go to shop at Menards spend money forgot mask for my daughter and then she was treated like a criminal and told to leave what the heck

My wife and I werent very interested in going when the store in Pierre first opened, but after a couple of Black Friday shopping runs, we go there pretty regularly now. Menards has a large and diverse selection of products at very reasonable prices for the quality. A fair number of items are equal, if not lower priced, than Wal-Mart. Also, the store is well lit and clean, and the staff is friendly. This is a definite recommendation for a shopping destination in the Pierre area.

I looked at two other stores in town for mini roses and creeping phlox, I finally found both at Menards! They always have some neat finds in the garden center too.

Great, except I feel like christmas lights should be sold year round. Keep like 5 or six different styles in stock and I guarentee people will buy them! (Probably me) only 3 stars because they didnt have cornhole either. .

As a community we are very lucky to have a Menards Store. It saves trips to Sioux Falls or Rapid City to get items that you could not buy here locally.I have shopped there and I will continue to shop there, have not had any issues. They are great about returning items!

Menards has a really big selection of about anything from household items, pet stuff, hardware, lumber, paint doors, appliances, food, ect. Plus if you walk around you find good deals /clearance items. Above all else the staff are very professional and very helpfull.

Have Ben working here for 7 or 8 months and I can say that it is a great place to work. I also find myself shopping here more than Walmart.

I appreciate so very much the efforts made to keep customers safe! Wish all customers would wear masks.

Great customer service. Have about everything you could dream of. Store is always clean. Much more enjoyable going to Menards than Walmart.

We were trying to practice social distancing like suggested. However, when we went to the back door to pick up the item we bought online. The brain dead people back there couldnt figure out how to bring it out to us took a half hour totally ridiculous.

Went to buy some things with my boyfriend who medically cannot wear a mask. I had my mask on. Was refused entry because he medically cannot wear one. Shows how little they care about their customers. Will not return.

BAD, BAD, BAD! I DISCOURAGE anyone to use their credit cards for a Menards on-line purchase. Something VERY flakey going on! If it is Menards intent to collect card numbers, they have at least seven from me and family and friends!!!! And who do you contact about this problem? Try and find out! Impossible! Menards better look into this! Some one is playing games with you!!!

Stopped in here with a cousin of mine. We had to get some electrical materials. He knew a lot of the employees well because he frequents the place. Your run of the mill Menards which is always good. Here in the midwest we have corporations that we only get to experience like Caseys General Stores, Hy-Vee, and Menards. They are always consistent businesses that you get great products and services from in this region of the country.

Not sure what all the squabble is about - Pierre has wanted a Menards for years. While they arent the end-all or be-all of anything, it is nice to find what Im looking for without having to resort to the internet, having to order from an out-of-town supplier,or getting gouged by other local home improvement/hardware stores in town. While I dread the trek (huge store) when I need something, I am glad theyre here.

Overheard a manager or assistant manager in the receiving area berating employees while yelling and using extreme profanity! I could never work in those conditions with that kind of hostility coming at me! There is a right way and a wrong way (and this was a very WRONG way) to treat employees. Wow. Im glad no children were around to hear it. Made me extremely uncomfortable and I headed for the exit!

Doesnt price match and have no military discount even on veterans day. You can go to lowes or Home Depot in Sioux Falls and they will price match and give 10% off. Also they are super under staffed
