If I could give more then 5 starts I absolutely would, they where very professional over the phone when I reached out to make an appointment, the techs found my issue called me and explained what parts I needed and the price BEFORE they did the work which was awesome. They where able to fix my truck within 24 hours for a great reasonable price! If I ever have problems with my truck again I will be most definitely taking it back here!

This place is the most professional shop youll ever visit they are above and beyond what they say they will do and what the cost will be thats what it is updating and my last visit to the place working on my little truck Somebody went above and beyond because when I took it in there it had engine light on. Headed to another place here in Pinellas Park they they got me for $750 and didnt fix it however when I went to pick up my truck for what was wrong with it then I noticed my engine light was out and it ran better and they never even mentioned it they never said a word about it and charged me the amount that they told me in the beginning as it what it would cost so I recommend this place very very highly

The tech painted a rusty flange to match the color of the new steel. He said he would replace the flange but he painted it instead. The picture is of the tailpipe tha Ace installed. Jagged edges.This is like a high school kid didit. Buyer beware!

Having recently moved to the area from out of state, I have struggled to find a trusted mechanic. That changed this week when I brought my car in for a second opinion after getting a $1,500 quote from the dealership. The people at Ace Auto were exceptionally friendly, efficient, and repaired the problem for a tenth of what the dealer quoted. I wont be taking my vehicle anywhere else from now on.

This review is way past due and I could be here forever writing about these guys, but I will keep it brief . Going to the repair shop is probably the least favorite thing anybody could ever do, besides maybe going to the DMV. You can be nervous, anxious worried about getting ripped off. The people over at Ace (Debbie, Kieth and Don ) really take the sting out of it and that’s an understatement! They are extremely knowledgeable and have all the equipment to get your car fixed right the first time instead of guessing and throwing parts at it. Equally as important as it to have the best mechanics working on your car, the attitudes of all the people there are just so great and they are so pleasant to talk to .. this includes their dog who is such a good boy. Let me start by mentioning that the people are nice friendly and fast. But never let kindness sway your opinion.I came to Ace to get my catalytic converter replaced a while back (around 2013-2014) on my 2000 GMC Safari. However, it went bad shortly after. I think they did not choose a quality part. Although I think the staff was nice I decided to go to the dealer this time to have it replaced. I had to pay a lot more, but it worked for years after. I knew the dealer would do it right. I like supporting mom and pop shops but I like to pay for quality more. Try these guys out, but do your research and ask what parts they are putting on your car. Know what a great part is and ask to see it. If a shop is not willing to show you whats going in your car... leave... you earn your money and you paid a lot for your vehicle. You dont have to be bullied around. (Note - I am not indicating that this shop wont show you the parts or tell you what they are putting in your car. I failed to ask and to do my research on quality parts. Learn from my mistakes and go out educated.) Remember that someone always wants your business and eventually you will find what you are looking for. Hope it turns out well for you.Edit: Replying to ace. My Alleged visit was in 2013-2014. You may not have records that can be found if you dont keep them past 4 years. I was a student at SPC and I came based on a recommendation from a staff member. We all remember this Alleged visit. You dont need to worry about fixing the issue because I sold that van and got a Tesla. The only reason I posted the review was because Google remembered I stopped at your shop and they asked me if I could help others by posting what I thought of it. I am an independent reviewer and there is no benefit to me posting a review about your company. I only post what I see. Even if the company does not like what I have to say. I cannot be bought.P.S. It is also pretty obvious to customers that when a company replies to every review on their page and tries to discredit negative reviewers they are hiding something. You can choose to find my records from 2013-2014 or continue to try to discredit me. I dont need your services anymore and I am just teaching people to do their research before spending their hard earned money.

So I am well overdue on writing ACE a review. I first took my 1999 4Runner into them in 2011 and no other mechanic has touched it since. Debbie, Keith and Donald are always very friendly and genuine. Their repairs are always fairly priced and their professionalism leaves you feeling confident about the quality of the work being performed. In fact, when my mother came to visit she had heard me brag about ACE so much she wanted them to look at her car for a noise that nobody else had been able to fix. They of course diagnosed it, replaced the motor mounts and my mom couldnt have been more happy. I highly recommend ACE !!!
