I can’t say enough good things about Chris and his wife. Just recently I had my car inspected and then the next day my battery started dying. I drove over to the garage (thinking maybe something had not been properly wired back up) and they were able to identify that my battery was old. I had to go to a meeting, so they leant me their battery charger (so I wouldn’t get stranded) and told me to come back when my meeting was over. I would not have been able to get my car started without that charger. I came back to the garage and Chris quickly replaced my battery and I was on my way. This is a locally owned business where you are treated like a neighbor/friend. I will never go elsewhere.

Great family owned business. Theyve kept my old Honda running since I moved to Pittsburgh from Missouri, and have made sure its safe to drive and passes inspections. He has done some major repairs on my car, but it now drives like brand new and him and his wife are always upfront and honest with me about what needs to be fixed. Thanks Chris and Julie!!!

Great shop! We were sad to leave our trusted garage behind when we moved to the east side of PGH. The dealer garages are rip-offs and its hard to find the right spot. Were so happy to have found Julie & Chris. Theyre very sweet folks. They provide thorough cost breakdowns and timelines and deliver quality work.

I had my Saturn in at Glance for the PA inspection. Chris did the usual thorough job. I paid what I expected (plainly posted in the office) and the car was done quickly.

Chris will go out of his way to help his customers, even walk-in first time clients; often, those clients become loyal customers because of Chris excellent service. He will never cheat a customer or recommend work that doesnt need to be done. On the contrary, he works to help clients prioritize repairs when extensive work is required in order to help them fix their vehicles without breaking the bank. I trust Chris completely with my vehicle and have for years. I cannot recommend his work highly enough!

I recommend this shop for those that need car work. Chris was very friendly and courteous. He explained what was needed thoroughly and in a manner that was easy to understand. He is very knowledgeable and professional.

I needed my AC compressor replaced and I made an appointment with Chris Glance Automotive. I had to wait for couple of weeks in the hot, 90 degree weather for them to fit me. When I finally went to my appointment, I was quoted 2 hour job. Then when the car was ready in 90 min, I asked what my charge would be. It was $374 for hour and a half of service. $220 for two hours service, which was done in 90 min, $115 for refilling my freon (a bottle of this cost $15 in Walmart) and $5.99 for one part. The rest was taxes. Basically, they took advantage of my situation. I work 3-5 business days for that money and when I asked if its going to be cheaper since they did the work quicker than expected, the lady laughed at me....

This family really cares when it comes to servicing their customers they are honest diligent workers as a family even including their new addition to the family these people keep ticking like a time-x works they keep working and working around the clock taking and considering everything about your vehicle to provide their customers with the best of everything to ensure your car is operating at its top peak. They let you know a head of time of things to look out for in advance concerning your vehicles care so you dont have to be taken by surprise where it hurts your wallet and enable you to keep the cash flow open for other expenses that may occur in your daily lives. These people are fast and efficient to ensure their customers the opportunity to receive all their entitled and topped off with that good thing in life love love doesnt make the world go round but it sure gives people the advantages and opportunities to led a more happy and productive life. These people are FIRST to none in their Profession and I highly recommend earnestly that you give these people a try and I know you will be well pleased.
