Loved the selection of ciders here! Not many places cater to cider drinkers and maybe have one or two options for us. They had two of my favorite ciders and many more to try as well! I will definitely be coming back here and love that they’re connected to Row House - definitely a great combo.

Best beer spot ever! Found them because they were the only ones in the area that had my super specific beer that I love. (Yay!) It’s the best little spot! If I lived locally this would be my go-to for beer. They have so many seemingly well selected individual cans and if you like trying different things it’s awesome! They also can cool your beer on the spot (😮) and have all the things to make your own easy 4 and 6 packs. Also great people that work there :) Love it!! And so happy I found my hard to find beer 🎊 🙂

One of my favorite shops on the East Coast to shop in. I can find something even a single to suit my mood and the decor is a personal taste I prefer in a Beer Merchants.

Dude was completely cool behind the counter. He was graciously knowledgeable about the city and gave us some great recommendations. Cant wait to return for the selection of beer they have as well.

I seriously love Bierport. A trip to Bierport is the highlight of any week. Ive discovered so many great beers and breweries from browsing the shelves. Staff are stellar and vibes are great. I cannot recommend this business enough!

Loved this place. Great craft beer. The prices can be a little bit over the top for some of the singles but if you are vacationing and not on a budget enjoy away. They have a taproom downstairs that has some great craft beer and specials. They allow dogs which was a huge perk for me and my friends. Would highly recommend this to people that love craft beer and want to hangout with their dog.

Had a beer before seeing a movie at Row House. Very chill atmosphere with lots of games to play downstairs and a bar. Upstairs has the the theatre and lots of beer to buy and take home.

Over all selection is good, prices are on par with most single bottle, bottle shops. The bar downstairs is a very speak-easy era style of place thats uber dark and semi strange at first. Staff was very nice overall. The beer selection is too small to justify a long trip down plus hassles of parking, unless your looking for something very specific.

Really good beer on tap - we had a few tastings and they were all delicious. Theres a stout that I was thinking about days later. I also read that you can buy a beer that isnt cold and they can get it down to a drinkable temperature in just a few minutes.Also dog friendly! Inside! Our pup was happy about that given how hot it was outside the day we went.

Its quiet and they have a good rotation of less common things than you can find in your average bar on draft. I enjoy coming here for sours. They also have a wide range of alcohol content; tonights list started at 4 and topped out at 15. Stop in and check them out.

Bierport is really cool. Little speakeasy underground, with a good rotation of Craft Beers. You can also get smaller pours here. So, it makes it nice to be able to try a variety of new stuff. Staff is friendly, and super knowledgeable.

The beer selection is good but the prices are a little high. Its a nice place to get the harder to find beers but the more common ones that can be found elsewhere are overpriced.

This place is awesome. Tons of beer on hand, awesome tap that rotates regularly. The staff is awesome. And theres a firecore to play downstairs to boot. Its literally a 30 minute drive to get to it for me, but thats hardly a deterrent. Have gone multiple times, will go again.

A must for beer lovers. This is a very hip beer heaven where the staff is very helpful and will take the time to explain anything, including their newest shipments. On one of my visits, the doors were still locked after opening time - I called and they promptly made sure to open and apologized. Great service. Youll find all types of beers here, from hoppy to fruity and some rare beers as well, all relatively at a pretty great price. On the bottom floor, there is a bar as well where they have happy hours.

Wonderful beer store with great selection and knowledgeable staff. I dont even particularly like beer and try always find something I enjoy. Everyone is super friendly and I feel like theyve created a community environment. People on the street recognize us from bierport which is a testament to how great a business can be!

Great place to try new beer, buy gifts for beer lovers, or to relax in after work. They have a ton of different types of beer, and while being slightly more expensive than you might like, its hard to disagree with their selections. Also, if you go down to the bar in the basement you can order flights of 5 different beers just to sample them. Definitely worth it.

They have quite the beer selection but check the dates on your beer because the staff there does not. Bought a six pack for $21 and when 4 of the 6 were past the enjoy by date. If you are operating a place that charges that much then your staff should be checking expiration dates. Either the owners or management needs to be responsible in that aspect of running a business. Some of the beers I took were from the staff picks section, wondering if the reason they were there was because they were expired

Great spot. Nice selection and love their special events like the Barrel Bash and the Goose Island Bourbon County event they did last year. Minus one star for being a bit overpriced, but more so for having so many bottles upstairs exposed to direct sunlight from the front windows. Cmon guys, some of those beers have been there dying for weeks or months. Get them out of the sun!

Excellent bartenders! Always right by your side when you need anything. Or if you have a question about anything...Cant say anything about the movies though because Ive never viewed any but the service is excellent!!!!

The selection here rivals any bottle shop Ive been to. What makes this place great are bluegrass Fridays and a small draft bar with specials in the basement. They also have a crazy instant cooling machine if you buy a warm beer and want it cold quick.

If the massive selection upstairs doesnt suit your fancy, theres even more beer in the tap room downstairs. All of the beers are fairly priced and rival most of the bars in lawrenceville. Plus, if you build a mix and match six pack, you get 10% off! This place is attached to Row House Cinema and is the perfect place to grab an old favorite or a bizarre bottle youve always wanted to try. If youre seeing a movie, theyll chill the beer for you (only takes 4-5 minutes) and you can take it right into the theater. Its perfect.

They always have the selection Im looking for, and help me out whenever I can need it. Theyre keen to ordering specialty beer, and finding or locating other beers that they dont have.

Stopped here to try and grab a quick 6 pack, and quickly realized it is not the place for that.Most of the beer-to-go stock is upstairs, but none of it is chilled. Downstairs, there is a small room that apparently has a few taps and a couple of coolers, but the 12oz bottles are priced and sold individually. Also, the 12oz bottles were insanely overpriced. It would have easily been $20+ to build a six pack to go.Im not sure about the reviews here raving about the selection. Im not from the area, but my local grocery store has a much larger selection of single beers to build a 6 pack at nearly half of what it would have cost here.Maybe this place appeals to the locals (for some reason), but this is not a stop to grab something to drink for tonight kind of place.

I received fantastic service here! I dont know about craft beer and spent an hour and a half browsing everything, asking questions, and receiving advice. Because of this I enjoyed every beer that I bought. It is overpriced, but the selection is worth it and to me the extra money is worth the learning experience and the selection. Ill deffinitly be returning as often as my wallet will allow for that special occasion drink.Overall Id say this place is for those who want to try something new, buy 1 or 2 favorites, or know what they want and have had difficulty finding it in other shops. This isnt the place to go buy 6 of the same beer, or to buy beer to just get drunk, because youll find yourself way overpaying for beer you could easily find elsewhere without utilizing any of the better features of this shop.Perk #2 they also have a great curation of craft sodas, and several that Grandpa Joes in the Strip District doesnt have.

This place has so much potential: a nice bottle shop with a solid selection and decent draft list attached to a movie theater in the heart of Lawrenceville. Unfortunately, their prices are so beyond outrageous that you could never forgive yourself for buying a bottle. For example, a beer that is $50 a case (so about $2 a can) was being sold for EIGHT DOLLARS. A beer that is $10 a bottle at liberty beer (highly recommend beer store less than a mile away up the hill) is being sold for $15 at bierport. I would feel like an idiot paying for that.The only upside is $2 off drafts for happy hour which brings them somewhat into the realm of reasonable. However, Caliente (also less than a mile away) which has equally crazy prices has a way better happy hour special and better taplist. Industry (1 block away) has the same happy hour deal, but lower to prices to start with and equally good if not better draft selection.As you can tell, as much as I want to like this place due to their great bottle selection and location, they are out-competed by at least a handful of nearby bars and beer stores. If you want to find good bottles in the area, check liberty beer first. If its happy hour, Caliente or industry. Any other time, head over the bridge to Grist House or Dancing Gnome.
