I had some reservations about using this site to sell my car. When I used the online form, the price they gave me seemed pretty high (probably the value for that make/model/year that was in perfect condition). So, I totally expected them to give me a much lower offer. When I got there, the manager was really nice, and quickly examined my car. Afterward, he gave me a much lower offer than what I had received online. But, after some quick, low pressure haggling, we came to a price that was agreeable to both of us. I probably could have gotten a little more if I had sold it directly to someone, but that definitely would have been much more of a hassle. This process took me and hour at the most, and I was really happy with the entire process. I would definitely use them again.

This is a straight up legit business. Jim OConnor, manager, was welcoming and got to the physical appraisal quickly. Why 4 and not 5, the fee. When we initially sat down to confirm the valuation from the internet and Jim explained the process I mentioned my surprise. He ascertained the website does mention the fee but doesnt make it real obvious. Company policy is to call everyone who schedules an appointment prior to the actual appointment, which Jim did but I wasnt available. He always informs the prospect of the fee during this call, even at the risk of them not coming in - transparency. His evaluation of the vehicle was on point and fair with clear answers of all questions. I did internet valuation comparisons and We But Any Car always came back on the higher end but an important point must be understood - the physical valuation of your car will more than likely bring the price down. This happened to me and I was quite satisfied with Jims reasoning and explanations. This will happen with any of these internet valuations be prepared it should be expected. I highly recommend Jims service and will pass it on to anyone that I encounter who is selling a vehicle. It was hassle free and took about an hour in total.

All COVID precautions were in place. Jim is a car guy and knows cars well. If you pay attention to Jim and follow a few of their initial rules that he explains up front. You will get the most Jim can offer. The processing fees are the first thing he makes you aware of. As Jim goes over your vehicle he will explain what he finds and how that effects the purchase price. Be honest with Jim and he will do his best for you. I was happy with my purchase price And the process that took less than an hour.. During Covid 19 times it is much harder to get transfer paper work done in a timely manner. Jim handles all that on the spot.. Do it.. I did and they bought my car...

Ok so I went on their online estimate to sell my 2004 Toyota camry. Well I knew the estimate would change drastically because of course theyre not seeing the car in person. But I was truthful on all the questions for the estimate and the offer was in the 800 price range. Well when the guy showed up he did a quick walk-around and asked if it ran which it did ( but would stalled out, which I also stated to him). He asked for the title, went to his car and in about 5 min he called me over and said he could only give me $150.00 for it. I shouldnt have to tell u what I did but I called another place and without seeing it they offered me $400 for it. It was a horrible experience and I wouldnt offer this service to anyone. Beware!!!!!

Can you give negative stars? I did not personally have the experience of dealing with We Buy Any Cars, but my sister’s junkie ex boyfriend sold his car there. He was visibly strung out and not well. Fresh off a bender decided to go sell his Chevy Trailblazer. Not sure exact year, but around an ‘07. We found out he sold their vehicle for $1,300!!!! I have Kelly Blue booked the vehicle and it is definitely worth much more. I can’t say exactly what it is worth because I don’t know exact condition or mileage, etc... I do know it was in nice condition though. When I found out about this I was sad, mad, shocked, and confused! I can’t figure out what kind of decent person would see some dude who was blatantly on drugs and say “Sweet! I am going to make some money today” My family has tried to call We Buy Any Car and buy the vehicle back for what they bought it for. They would not be at a loss. In fact $1,300 richer. They are not willing to work with us though. My sister is pregnant and due to have her baby in less than a month. I believe any decent person would feel bad about this situation and try to make it right. All they have to do is sell it back for what they bought it for. They could wash their hands of this situation and feel decent about themselves. I will leave this review on any website I can. This is not good business! I am also going to call every news station and BBB. Maybe legally we don’t have a foot to stand on due to it was in his name, but they apparently have no moral standards for their business! If they are willing to rip off someone on drugs who was obviously not in his right mind do you think they are selling you a car for a deal? They are crooked and will rip you off! Please don’t give We Buy Any Car your business! There are plenty of honest used automobile dealerships in the area. In fact, West Liberty has a multitude of car dealerships which I would put money on, are far superior to We Buy Any Car! If your reading this We Buy Any Car, I would consider doing the right thing.
