As coffee shops go, I prefer local when I travel so when we stumbled upon this place we had to stop by. Coffees are top quality, staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The cold brew is 1st rate and the Dirty Chai Latte totally delicious. Didnt try the baked goods but some looked good. As for those commenting on certain people who hang out here, it is a transitional area and that means sometimes more gritty hard worn people are customers. The coffee shop itself is worth the visit.

Favorite coffee spot in Pittsburgh. Everything is good. Food could be improved but it’s not what I come here for. I honestly can’t tell if the girl who works there regularly knows me from coming in all the time or is just that friendly to everyone, but either way it works!

I love crazy mocha although it is a bit pricey. Doubly wards program isnt as great as Starbucks. But this crazy mocha offers of really nice atmosphere and a right round the corner is Badamos Pizza. Its also convenient to transit as it is on routes for route 16 15 17 8 11 and 54

Great place to get warm in cold winter and having fun with smoothies in hot summer. All time favorite. I stop by every friday and try different flavor. Every time it is wonderful!They sell donuts too now which are amazing, I love with chocolate stuffing.

Really chill coffee shop. I only wish it had more coffee options but it really gives a nice hangout feel. I can tell they have faithful regulars. People come in to relax, talk, write, and work. I did however have a monkey mocha (a mocha coffee with a spurt of banana syrup) and it was probably one of the best coffees I ever had. Definitely would recommend.

Quiet and cozy setting. The staff was very kind, considerate and accommodating to our needs with an infant. The coffee was great and the price was reasonable. We will be adding Crazy Mocha to our weekly library visit routine.

Stop here often on my way to work. Highly recommended. It can get a bit busy at the intersection its on, but parking isnt much and you have an hour or two to park in the permitted zones. The cold brew gets my mornings going!

Friendly employee but tons of homeless people hanging out in the store. Not against the homeless, but the group that resides here is usually loud and causing scenes. Hard to work on laptop here.

Friendly staff! Lots of homeless people and neighborhood regulars stopping by to grab a cup of coffee or some actual heat to warm up. Its very spacious and comfortable. There are always people on their laptops here because of the free wifi! Bathrooms are very clean because they lock them unless you buy something. The coffee is strong and on the dark side but tastes good!

Not a pleasant experience! My office had no power so we couldn’t make coffee! I make coffee run to Crazy Mocha. When I arrived no place to park! Go inside to place my order for 2 catering size coffees and 1 water. No problem! It was busy! I thought I didn’t order enough coffee. After the line went down I ordered 1 more plus 3 small coffees. The cashier told me in a rude way I should of called in for my order! If I knew the power was out maybe I would have! Next I’ll just go somewhere else!

This place is the best!Best coffee and best service ever!They have a wide variety of hot and cold drinks (no beer tho).They have something for the sweet tooth, the health nuts and the on the go people.Sandwiches, fruit cups, veggie cups, trail mix, brownies, cookies, cakes, muffins & bagels.its a great place to go and enjoy yourself.They also have WI-FI networking.

Not the best place if you want to drink coffee and study! Not very friendly environment in & around the shop; lots of homeless and weird people.However, staff was friendly and Cappuccino was great.

The coffee is very good and fresh. They also have a decent selection of packaged drinks from Snapple, Perrier, and Pepsi. Aside from that, the food items are subpar. The scones are a bit dry and taste freezer burnt. The location is in a more seedy part of town as the patrons are usually vagrants from the soup kitchen next door or people waiting for the bus.

Its not Starbucks, but it will do, in a pinch. It opens at 6:00am. On the North Side, you dont have many 6:00 options. Peace!

Crazy Mocha is great coffee. It also hires beautiful workers who are friendly. Its my coffee shop during the winter season. Last winter I learned the city structure for social work on there Wifi. I always meet good people there.

Its full of homeless people just sitting around not buying anything. I feel like Im paying 7 bucks for two cups of coffee and get to hang out in a shelter.

Decent atmosphere and good prices. The tables and chairs are cheap quality and it could use some warmer surfaces inside. Good location across from the park.

Customer service is great, there is usually a short wait to receive items although it is typical to find only one person working behind the counter. Parking can be difficult at this location.

It wouldnt have been so bad if the homeless people wouldnt have had been in and out..all loud and creepy...And the girl that was making the coffee hadnt looked like she was in real need of another fix. Oh well..its that part of town I guess

They serve a variety of coffee drinks and teas. Everything Ive tried has all been very good. My favorite is the Cappacino. The baristas are kind, considerate, and diligent workers. There are quite a few homeless people that frequent this establishment, especially during extreme weather conditions. I have never had a problem with anyone. I find it quite heartwarming that they accept them and give them a break from being outdoors.

The barritas here are AMAZING! love going here for my morning coffee run on the weekends. Feels homey and welcoming.

It is a typical cold and windy November day in Pittsburgh. I stopped in with the intentions of grabbing a quick hot cup of coffee. To my surprise, I ended up staying for a couple hours. The Baristas were fun and outgoing; I met some interesting patrons and a great little hunting dog, named Gracie, used their wifi, and warmed up.

Prices are decent, but like most Crazy Mocha locations the service can be found wanting. During my last visit I was asked Which tea would I like in my chai latte? Though it was on the menu board and seemingly rather self-explanatory. While I waited for my drink, I kept thinking I was being addressed by the barista, but eventually realized that she was merely participating in a phone conversation through her earbud throughout both my ordering and her making of my drink. The drink was great, but the environment was relatively unprofessional.

Went into establishment for a cup of coffee and the woman behind the counter was using all types of profanity very loudly,she was making racist remarks about people outside the establishment. Very unprofessional and abusive towards African Americans. Avoid using this business at all costs
