Truly like this lil gem of a coffee shop. The owner/manager (Im not sure) is so friendly, and informative and will take the time to explain his product to you no matter how simple the question seems. I go there when ever Im in the area.

I was visiting Shadyside for a weekend and found myself at Jitters Cafe everyday. I felt so welcomed here. The staff was amazing, the coffee was delicious and the shop itself was very well kept. If I find myself in the area again I know I will be visiting here again!

By FAR the best coffee I have had in pittsburgh, please do not go to starbucks if you live nearby, havent had the food but coffee and tea are both deliciousIf you are scared of black coffee please try it here! Their light roasts have an incredible sweet flavor even without sugarMust try: cortado, cold brew (nitro available), mango ceylon tea

The only thing better than the coffee is the amazing staff. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, Ive yet to have even a mediocre experience here.

The guy working when I went in was super nice and recommended some flavors for me. I got an iced latte with cinnamon brown sugar flavoring and it was so delicious! Will definitely be back!

I lived in shadyside for two years in walking distance and this became my favorite cafe to visit. I love coffee so much especially strong coffee, but I avoid drinking it often because I do not need caffeine. I noticed that every time I wanted a coffee, I’d find myself visiting jitters. They are also incredibly friendly and have a cute quiet little seating room for doing work or meeting a friend, it’s too bad covid put this on pause. But they’ve definitely adapted well to the public health guidelines and still serve delicious coffee.

Lovely and quite place to have sometime to read or work, or just have a peaceful time for a cuppa of coffee. Restrooms are downstairs tho, code 8181

Coffee and baked goods are good, baristas very friendly, personable, and inviting. My run in with the owner is the reason for two stars. Quite literally one of the least friendly people I have ever met in my life.

Tried the pumpkin muffin here and it was just brilliant!!

I want to give this place a 5 star rating so bad but its just too small. The product is great if you love specialty drinks like me. Their specialty lattes are very very good and offer a lot of variety and unique flavors. Unfortunately there are just not enough seats in this place for me to rank it higher on my list of coffee shops. A big part of the coffee experience for me is atmosphere and this place is lacking just a bit in that area.

What a gem. Jitters is a great neighborhood cafe and they do a great job of making their customers feel like family when you are in there. I love places that accomplish what they are trying to, and do it excellently. The space is great-- I always feel comfortable doing work while I am there. Good drinks, food, etc. Hopefully you are lucky enough to go on a day when Kim is working!

Their London fog is really good. Not a big fan of their chai lattes, though 😬 Next time I’ll try their ice cream!!

Oh yes, Ravi the owner is a great guy and he will pull up a chair next to you and start conversations. Wish them all the success.

LOVE the coffee here, it is very smooth and not too acidic. The staff adds to the experience, they are very friendly and informative. I hope they get the palmiers back- they were the yummiest in the city!

Mocha Chiller was delicious and could easily compete with top brands. Very friendly staff - atmosphere could do with some work.Maybe find a way to bring more light to indoor seating and block off clothing store next door.

I like Jitters because its quality without being fancy or popular. Whether you need preworkout coffee or postworkout ice cream, they have you covered and theres probably no line. The ice cream is even Dave and Andys.

We did some business with Ravitej & Jitters and ran into some issues with one of the refrigerators he purchased. Ravitej handled it like a complete gentleman and we were able to work together to get the issue resolved. Been going there for 8 years or so. Its simply the best cafe in town. The atmosphere is friendly and engaging, the coffee is among the best, and the seats outside in spring and summer are heavenly. If you were in European coffee shops, youll know what I mean.The baristas are in general nice, friendly and competent. The owner is a cool guy and known throughout walnut steer and pittsburgh.I fully recommend jitters!!

This is kind of my secret spot for studying or getting some peace from all the noise. Coffees are great, never tried a lot because I was hooked on their house blend though. since the cafe is so small their Wi-Fi is amazing. Definitely would recommend to someone who wants to study for a length of time.

By far the best coffee shop in Shadyside! A great place to sit and read, have a coffee, and socialize with friends. The baristas get to know you and how you like your drinks, which creates a warm community environment. Plus, the owner is always around to chat and joke! Definitely a place to stop in and try if you are walking around Shadyside!

I used to love this place, Id get ice cream here, I even stopped by 5 tymes to get ice cream, they didnt have what I usually got each tyme and the last tyme... no ice cream! 😢
