I called this location to have my prescription transferred here. I live 4 hours away and needed my medication while I am here for the next 4 days. When I asked to do this the tech asked “What medication?!” Mind you, this was after she answered the phone “Yeah, CVS.” Ew.I told her the medication and immediately she grumbled and then said “No, that’s a narcotic, you can’t do that!” I asked what I could do and she laughed and said “I dunno?” I hung up.After I hung up, I realized she said my medication was a narcotic. WHICH IT IS NOT. It is indeed a controlled substance, but NOT a narcotic. The pharmacy back home has transferred this same script to pharmacies in neighboring towns when they were out of stock.I called back and explained that she was incorrect, it is NOT a narcotic. She argued and said “Yes it is, I work here don’t I?” I became increasingly frustrated at this point and said “No, it is a controlled substance, not a narcotic!” She simply hung up on me. I’ve tried calling this location x’s 2 after with no answer.BTW…… I am a healthcare worker and def know more than you do as I have an extensive background in medication management, administration, causes and treatment. Next time ya think ya know everything, shut your mouth.
