Dec 13 2020: ordered 2 gyros and a large one topping pizza. Was ready for pickup as promised and the food was hot and tasted great. The gyros again were stuffed with meat and fresh. The pizza was outstanding, had the right ratio of crust, cheese to toppings. We will be regulars at this place for sure.Dec 10 2020: First time ordering from this place today, had a hankering for a good gyro and Google Maps came back with this find near me. Called in the order, very nice customer service and was advised gyro be ready in 20 minutes. Paid by credit card over the phone.Went to the restaurant, lunch was ready for pickup, got home, let me just say, probably the best gyro I have had in a while. The meat was not oily, cooked to perfection with lettuce, tomato and grilled onions. The sauce on the side was also very good and added a lot to the experience.I will be back for gyros and and also to try their pizza. This place is in my backyard and i cannot believe i waited this long to try it. You have to order and see for yourself.
Super dissappinted in this establishment. I used to eat here all the time... like 2 or 3 times a month. Any time someone would ask me to recommend amazing food I always recommend pizza pronto....untill now...I ordered off eatstreets last night and by the time I got my food it was inedible. I filed a complaint about this with eatstreets and they told me to contact the establishment. When I called them all they offered was a discount IF I was ordering food. I spend 40 dollars to throw it away in the trash cuz it was not edible and they will not even give me my money back! I hope the trashcan had a great dinner cuz I know me family didnt. The owner started to get smart with me, which is appalling considering I am a regular there. The food was wet and soggy and legit looked like they threw it together. I see how they treat thier customers so I will never recommend them to anyone again. In fact I urge everyone not to bother with this establishment. Good food or not, you dont treat your customers with disrespect.

Well, first time ordering. We bought the classic meat spaghetti w/added chicken-lots of meats n cheese, also Came with salad n dressing, along with Garlic Bread. Nice Polite driver. Food was still hot. Very great food all around. My Son loved the wings n Fries. Well have to order again❣Ordering time to delivery was good timing.

Wow the gyros are awesome the pizza is amazing the Buffalo chicken salad tasted greatand is at least two meals you definitely get your moneys worth both in flavor and in portion size Ive never had one gyro fill me up till today best food Ive had in a while and the staff was very polite and friendly they really know how to take care of a customer and make you feel special i orderd on line it was pretty simple no question where Ill be eating anytime im in the area

Probably the only place north of the city to get a good gyro. Pizza is delicious and their salads are pretty good too. But I come here for the gyros and theyre totally worth it. Honestly one of the only places north of the city with real gyro meat instead of frozen stuff! Plus their vegetables are always fresh and crispy.
Ive passed this place for a couple years before I thought to give it a try and I dont know why I waited so long. I would say they are a little pricey, but not compared to the area; just for my taste. Either way, I was super impressed with the quality of the two gourmet pizzas I purchased which were the Prontos Original Pizza and the Roasted Eggplant pizza. Wow! I was so impressed with with the quality of the toppings and the crust was so crispy and not hard at all. Perfectly baked! I couldnt have been more impressed. And I had to drive it all the way back to Ambridge before I got to taste them and they were still perfect! I will be back to try more off the menu!!

I was in the mood for a Treat.I really like the Gyro wraps/ Fries or slaw.They accommodated my desire to have something besides salt on my fries. Offered a Cajun dusting, delicious!Food was hot, ready on time and I received curbside pickup.
This place is legit. Everything is delicious-- I even tried the eggplant hoagie thinking ewwww but it is now my new favorite thing there. Try it. Please.
We ordered from here for the first time recently. We got the Buffalo chicken dip, cheese balls and original pizza, and everything was phenomenal! Even reheated the pizza was still better than most places pizza when fresh. The delivery was very fast and the driver was very polite. We will definitely be ordering from here again soon.

We ordered fried pickles, a gyro, wings, and a wedge. The fried pickles were outstanding. Not too much breading, spear-style, great pickle taste, and crunchy. Gyro was stuffed with meat and the veggies were separated so they didnt get warm or mushy. Wedge was delicious. Only negative I have were the fries. I personally like them crispier.Will definitely order again!
First time visit. Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed a large garden salad, 6 habanero mango wings, medium Mediterranean pizza and strawberry cheesecake. The salad was a good size to share, wings were excellent. Moist yet bits of crispy skin. The pizza was some of the best Ive had. Loaded with red peppers, red onion, olives, mushrooms, feta and artichokes.The only downside was the waitress was a bit inexperienced and very busy. However, she was attentive, contentious and polite.Overall, looking forward to returning.
Ordered gyro platter and calzone take out. As promised, the food was ready in 15 min and it is very tasty. Highly recommend this place.

I order quite a bit of food from this place sometimes 3 nights a week I eat out every day just called and was told theyre too busy and cant deliver my food You just lost my business for good youre only hurting your employees I tipway more than 20% they enjoy delivering food to my house because they get a h*** of a tip

Super nice people when you come in and a cool little pizzeria vibe in side. I recently went in on the night of the Super Bowl and they were super super busy and incredibly apologetic that I had to wait ... 5 minutes. Go there.

They serve authentic rotisserie style gyros and have a great dine in special price for a gyro, fries, and a drink. Its a great deal for a delicious meal. They recently remodeled their restaurant and its really nice. Their servers are very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Pizza Pronto in Avalon.p.s. Their other menu items are good too.

Pretty good food. Occasionally they forget to add the Garlic White sauce and add tomato-based sauce instead. Its happened on multiple occasions, but they do have a great selection and nothing has tasted bad.

Pizza was very greasy when it arrived. The Cheese was falling off of the pizza in the box and when I went to eat it. The Cheese balls were good. For 2 items I thought they were very pricey and thought wow for this price this food should be delicious NOT. Not sure if I will order from them again .

Not once have I had any complaints! Big portions of good food!The owner and his crew are very nice... Even when they are busy and running around, they manage to answer my questions... Just had this pizza for the first time today, and wow was I impressed. Just moved to this area of Pittsburgh and have been trying to find a great pizza spot and I think I have found it. Very friendly staff too, and the place was nice and clean.

The cable is nice, because we usually can pick what we want to watch. We dont have cable, so its a treat! We are usually there at least every other week, if not every week.*The owner, Melissa, is very friendly and nice! She and I are on a first name basis. And the wait staff is always helpful.
Pizza Pronto is a go to spot for pizza in Bellevue. Great pizza and wings. However, the hoagies I have gotten have not been very good. The cheese steak specifically was very dry.
Moved here a year ago and we havent had 1 bad experience except emptying our pockets for take out more than we use to. The place has amazing food, havent had a single mistake and the drivers are great. Always on time. We literally do not order pizza or subs from anywhere else after finding pronto

We rarely go out to eat or order food from restaurants, so Im not sure if this is just normal these days or not. The quality of the food is what youd expect from most pizza shops. However, the owner is a bit feisty and not very kind. I would have expected a neighborhood restaurant to be a lot friendlier to their customers.
I just ordered food that was delivered in under 30 minutes and was delicious! Everytime I order, the food is delivered pretty quickly and is always tasty! The woman who took my order was very polite, as well as the delivery driver. I highly recommend ordering from this place.
Im typically very happy with the food here. They have great hoagies and gyros; however, this most recent time I got tomatoes with my gyros that clearly had black, rotten spots.

The atmosphere as soon as you walk in is charming. The service is impeccable, friendly, and very helpful with suggestions. The owner jumps right in there and does all jobs to make sure the satisfaction is part. Now for the food, it is simply the best Pizza in all of Pittsburgh and the pricing is so affordable. It wouldbe a great place to bring the t-ball and little league teams after the game. Theres plenty of room!

The eggplant pizza is totally wonderful, I want to try other stuff but end up getting that every time I order.
So I go online here and figure out what i want, and mind you i know the cost when i order. Well the prices here are way different then what they actually charge. For instance, 2 gyros and 2 small fries are priced online at $12.99; but when i order they now went up to $15.99, pizza boats marked at $3.50 but they are actually $4.99, the small fries are marked $1.50 but they went up to over 3 dollars. I was baffled and asked why the prices are different than online and the response was, oh well we dont charge them prices anymore. This is clearly false advertising. Maybe i should contact some lawyer friends of mine and see what they think?

Pizza Prontor has the best pizza on California and Lincoln Avenue. Not only do they have great pizza but they have a wide range of delicious food. The owner and staff are wonderful. When in Avalon, stop in you will not be disappointed. Tom
We used to order regularly but it has gone downhill. Ordered tonight and they charged my card incorrectly. They called me ten minutes later and said they voided that charge, but wanted my card number again to charge the correct amount. Problem was the wrong (higher) amount had already hit my bank account and I didn’t want to be out a bank hold of $60+ for a small pizza, fries and six wings all weekend. I asked the manager to cancel the order. She said they were already cooking and that that would deliver the food free of charge for the mistake. Ok, and that would be the end of it, but the food shows up raw. I mean soggy, uncooked dough for the pizza and fries that were limp. We tried to save it in our oven but it was a mess. Literally raw. Bread dough raw. Mistakes happen and we would have appreciated the attempt to make it right but this was just bad.
I placed an order last night scheduled for 9:15. The food was delivered an hour early, which created a disruption to a work meeting that I was hosting, and by the time the meeting was over my food was cold.
We have been regular customers for well over a year. That all ended last night. My wife called to order almost $50 worth of food then paid with a card over the phone. Right after, my 6 year old daughter asked for A cup of ranch dressing.You would have thought that we asked for an extra pizza. Amber, the woman taking our order, huffed and basically scolded my wife saying We normally charge $.50 for ranch. Next time you need to ask before we accept payment. Now as a business, I would think that putting a cup ranch dressing in the box for a little girl would be a simple request to fulfill. Apparently they would rather treat customers like criminals over $.50 worth of dressing. There are plenty of pizza places in the area, I guess they will get our business from now on.

Normally when I order from here the food is good. The food was good this time too, once I put it together. My sandwich looked like it had been thrown in the container. I had to put it back together. Also, they forgot my drink. That isnt the first time thats happened though.
Pizza Pronto, at least the Avalon location, has really good pizza and maybe even better sandwiches. I am partial to the buffalo chicken or chicken parm sub. In fact, Im going to stop typing this review and order myself up one, or both, of those right now . . .

I was just reading these reviews to see if they had improved at all, but apparently not, so I want to share my story. I ordered a fish hoagie and when I got it there was a used tartar pack with a bunch of funk on it and what appeared to be a footprint on the tartar pack. The used tartar pack was on the bun under the fish. I had to pitch it obviously. I called, not for a refund, just to let them know, and they yelled at me. Told everyone about it and they still order from them, and they are always dissatisfied. They used to be great but no more.

Its strange because I just gave this place a good review last week. We ordered last night and I got a Mediterranean salad w grilled chicken added. The chicken was so extremely dry. My husband ordered a cajun chicken hoagie, the chicken was also dry but the bread was so soggy and it was just very sloppy and just not good. Most definitely not with the $30 we paid. I usy have had a positive experience here. Not this time :(

Really bad experience ordering from this place. I pre-ordered a delivery to be brought at 730. At 739 I received a phone call claiming that my phone was off (how???) and some one had already called me 6 times. I had no missed calls, phone was on and charging. He then claimed some one had waited outside for 20 minutes. I explained that my apartment is down the side of the building. I was told that if I didnt go out front, the driver would be instructed to leave with my food. I explained that I would not be going outside in the snow in my socks and pajamas to find the guy. Back and forth for a minute before I was hung up on. I called back and was told the driver would come down the side so what was my problem? I still dont understand why he lied about calling me and while the driver was hanging around my apartment for 20 minutes. The guy came down and handed me my order plus the wrong soda (one that I sadly can not drink). I asked if I had ordered the soda and he said yes and showed me the order for a soda he was not holding. I explained that I couldnt drink it and he said This is what I brought. Huh? I told him I still cant drink it and live to see tomorrow. He said hed exchange it. 2 hours later, at 9:45, the correct soda comes. And the saddest part of all! After everything, I just wanted to eat my sandwich. It tasted just awful. Lastly, the calamari was pretty ok (they served it with cocktail sauce... the calamari, though, Im pretty sure, is not natural seafood.

I dont live in the area anymore. Where I live its all chain pizzas. But this is what I dream of when I think pizza shop. Great pizza, best Italian hoagie Ive had for decades! Small dining area thats very quaint. Large menu selection for a pizza shop. Very happy to have found this place. Will be back next time Im in town!

Only used delivery service once. Food was cold and Burger platter was not good to look at . However, I loved the wings with garlic. I could have eaten more as I only ordered 6. Tried to order gluten free pizza but they ran out of the special gf crust. I do not recommend this place for delivery.Have to amend this review.
