My local grocery store go to. Has rotisserie but make sure you get there before 6p as they run out. Fresh food section. Have lots of sparkling ice drinks in stock. Pretty stocked up on fruits.

Its convenient to have on the mount, but they stopped carrying my freshpet and instead are using the cooler for juice. Freezers are empty half the time, and it seems more like a place to hang out than a professional business.

This joint rocks so hard they had the Hellmanns Mayonnaise race car, just because.

Bought what I thought was a tuna salad croissant. I was raised up with tuna salad sandwiches as well as egg salad sandwiches. Your sandwich was soooo sour tasting of lemon. My friend volunteered a statement that his truck smelled like a lemon. Just saying where’s the “Tuna “. Your staff and store set up is perfect. Always had wonderful experiences other wise.👍

Please please keep an eye on your perishable produce!! Purchased carrots today that expired in October due to not having my reading glasses with me. Also, a gentleman from produce had to assist me at the deli counter because the owner and another deli employee were too busy talking amongst themselves while I was standing there for several minutes waiting for someone to assist. Otherwise very friendly place and exceptional meat department. Especially steaks!!

Its a small Shop n Save but its a quaint, friendly neighborhood (Mt Washington) example of the chain. Very nice, helpful staff. Just limited by overall size.

An instacart shoppers worse nightmare. Outdated, carry few items or theyre out, and the meat and produce section are practically nonexistent. Sad that its the only grocery store in mt Washington and some people have no choice but to shop here. 😕

Great location. But being the only grocery store in the immediate area for people who dont drive and the elderly seems to mean they can have higher prices and below average quality at times. This was my first time at this shop n save. I just moved to the area and found this store to be a convenient place for most general items. They had a fresh fruit and vegetables section which was nice, though not as big as most grocery stores. Also a section for paper products and simple tools. Staff was very friendly and efficient.

Great to have them on the Mount! The owners are clearly trying to meet the needs in this diverse community... have noticed lots of new, house made items recently. Weekend sales are also good. Not a large store, so overall selection somewhat limited.

This Shop N Save is important because it serves the community of Mt. Washington and the only other option from here is Giant Eagle or Aldi in South Side. Its not as cheap as Aldi, but its far cheaper than GE. You wont have as many options at this store though as you would at GE. Its a good place if youre in need of the basic type of groceries.

Love that this little grocery store exists on the Mount. Great to run in and grab something real quick. Not a huge selection but decent for a small neighborhood store.

Not impressed with this shop and save compared to the shop and save and Mount Washington a grocery and deli department did not have the selection of movies or fruit and cheese trays need to get more they need to get more creative

Great place to shop, employees are always friendly and they always have what im looking for.

This store is hit or miss. They dont always have the ingredients you need. The produce section is one of the weaker parts. The meat department runs out of chicken breast quickly. If you need basic items, you can find them easily. Its easy to run in and out for what you need here. The lines move quick enough.

First visit & was impressed with everything: easy parking; clean lot & spic & span store; fresh deli items; wide assortment of items; good prices; friendly & helpful staff.....did I mention super clean? Will definitely return. Thanks to the owners for providing such a great venue😊

Worst place ever. Lady swore at me when i asked about giftcards and just plan dirty store.

Its ok here but kind of small and some of the prices are slightly higher than other stores. It is very bright and clean though. I also never have to stand in long lines. Always in and out quickly. I tried their hot foods a few times and it has always been pretty good. UPDATE: 4/27/2021: I was starving and had to grab something quick before work. I can’t stand fast food restaurants so I decided to try their hot food again here at shop ‘n save. I had the Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes. Everything was really good surprisingly. I mean the meatballs weren’t exactly gourmet Swedish but very tasty and the mashed potatoes were really really good.

Surprisingly big inside, good prices, parking probably is difficult during busy times.

When you call for services you should not have to walk into the ongoing and come going traffic when there is a pickup spot for you to be picked up at When shopping at grocery stores courtesy pull up so the person with backs dont have to come to you I felt like that driver with prejudice not a Halo not a system and on top of that I felt like slavery cuz I had to walk to the person instead of the person coming directly to where I was at lift will get a star but the driver will not and this is the only way to post

Shop n Save is the grocery store of Mount Washington. This is a great place to stock up on the basics, as its a rather small store and they dont have the selection that you would find in larger stores. They have good sales, and you dont need to have their perks card to get the deals they have on sale, however if you use it you get Sunoco fuel discounts as well as other special in store coupons. This is my local grocery store and it serves my needs well. I like being able to stop by frequently to pick up the essentials I need, fill up a small basket and get in and out very quickly. They usually have an adequate amount of registers open to help the check out process go fast and smooth.

Was very excited to go here, however there were no hawaiian specialties contrary to the stores google description. v sad. 4/10. would not recommend.

This is a smaller store. Its a little run down. People were helpful and friendly though. I like thier other locations better, but a nice grocery for the area.

Its not that I dislike it.. but has lots of room to improve. The produce has been better since the take over from Foodland, but you still have to pick through to find items that are fresh. The staff and manager have always been helpful. Id love to not have to drive to the East End to find fresh seafood and grains.

Its the only show in town on Mt Washington, small but friendly with ample parking. The size of the place limits selection compared to other stores which are much less conveniently located, but necessities are always available.

SUPER FRIENDLY

Just a normal food store. Nothing extravagant yet has all the basics and the produce is usually very fresh unless its something with less turn over like ginger root. The food made here is good though like their macaroni salad and rotisserie chicken also the lunchmeat is very fresh and last a while once brought home.

Its a shame because, I do not have a car right now, so I have to walk, all thier meats seems to go bad, so check the dates!!! even when I check the dates, I would still open the meat the next day, and it was brown and gross: also the security undercover security they are horrible there was a point in my life where I just didnt have enough money to starving for 3 days and I wasnt proud of myself but the cooked area of chicken I took a peace and security guard grabbed my arm wouldnt let me go I am only 5 2 inches tall weighing 100 lb this guys at least 250 lbs and wouldnt let go of my arm: and there is a very thin tall guy that works where you buy the cigarettes and your bus passes hes always looking at me when I go in staring me down like Im trash one day they told me I had to leave the store and they apologize because they figured it wasnt me it was someone else it gets worse and worse but do not buy the meat youre better off just taking cereal toilet paper

The store is a little small (which I like but some dont). The parking lot is a nightmare BUT the people make this store great. Always helpful. Always polite and always willing to help. Evan, Bonnie, Derrick and all the girls in the deli are amazing. Theres a few people I can never remember their names but theyre all very nice.

I live in Mount Washington and I will not go grocery shopping here, unless it’s something I need immediately or a few small things. There have been multiple times where I have gotten yogurt/dairy products here and got home and realized they were expired.. and not by just a few days. Produce section is small and not fresh. Nothing is ever on sale. Giant Eagle is cheaper than here. Staff is not nice and won’t even say hi to you at checkout. I would not recommend grocery shopping here. Honestly don’t know how they are still in business.

This is the only​ grocery store in the Mt. Washington neighborhood, and although its not the most modern store, nor does it have the variety of a Giant Eagle Market District, it is sufficient for the basics.I want to give it 3 Stars, but they get 1 more Star for their very friendly staff & the just-slightly-above-average deli (but has good weekly deals) & hot food section.So, the Mt. Washington, Virginia Avenue, Shop & Save = 3 Stars + 1 Star for Staff & very average Deli.

Convenient grocery with a decent selection. Nice produce and bakery section. A bit pricey, but double coupons are accepted.

All their employees are super sweet and helpful. They make you feel like they all know you. Definitely worlds better with the new owners and makeover.
