Aerotech, Inc. is an amazing company. Its the first job Ive ever hit the 1 Year Mark for and thats because its a great place to work. Friendly and supportive work atmosphere and management, casual dress code, Covid-conscious, lots of independence, and room for upward growth. If I hadnt had to move for family, I would still be working there for sure. Defiantly recommend checking this place out if youre looking for a job in Pittsburgh,
Shout out to Renee S. for responding in a timely manner to my voicemail. I was trying to get a hold of someone in the HR/Payroll department for an extended period of time; later to find out the employee was on vacation. Renee then stepped up and provided me the information needed to complete my clients info. So Aerotech, make sure you recognize Renee for her efforts. She was a pleasure to deal with.
I was lucky enough to get a tour of the machine shop and the R&D department with my CEO. As an engineer, I was blown away by the accuracy and repeatability of their state-of-the art motion control products. NANO POSITIONING - MADE IN USA!!
Thought I would stay at this company for a long time, until I realized there was complete favoritism and bullying. Its like a walk back to back to high school. Not a positive atmosphere in the wiring dept. If you like to fight and be childish, youll love it here.
Only apply to work here if you are perfect, single, and can devote all of your time and energy to work and nothing else. When I took the tour and first started working there I thought it was a great place to work. I soon realized that optional overtime was mandatory without this being said overtly. There is no flexibility at all . They are not willing to accommodate for individuals. For example, if you take the bus and need to start 15 minutes late and end 15 minutes late this is not the type of place that would allow for such an accommodation. Overtime is always only in 2hr blocks. Do not make the same mistake more than once. They say if you need to talk to them there is an open door policy but no one is actually willing to help if you go to them. It just becomes and exhausting unfriendly place to work. They do have good benefits and typically promote from within.
I had the most unprofessional experience during a call with an Aerotech recruiter in Indianapolis. The call must have be a screen for a position that she didnt bother mentioning. The questions could have all been answered by actually reading my resume and were framed in the most negative and shaming way possible. The caller had not done any homework about me and my career. In the future I will screen out all calls from this agency and suggest the same to others who want their achievements respected to do the same.
Had a tour there, with my machinist school... amazing place! state o the art. will apply for a job there once i finish school***** eggz.
This company has been great, I plan to work here for a long time
Was fired for being sick.... Not a very employee friendly place to work
I wouldnt ever apply to work here.
