Wonderful customer service! Otis in the marketing and printing department is the man! He was very kind and very knowledgeable and really helped me out a lot when I had a problem with my file. He had a lot going on and was calm, cool and collected really taking care of me and making sure everyone got the attention they needed!
My laptop suddenly stopped working and I desperately needed it to get my school work done. I brought it in the store which was pretty busy but Adam was sooo nice to me and my 11 month old son despite the stress of having to run two departments at once, I felt bad for him but he stayed positive the entire time. Not only was he kind but he got my laptop up and running in no time and I am able to do my homework. Thank you Staples you have some great people at this store!
No one will help!Trying to drop off ups. No one is working the copy area. 2 other sales associates, who aren’t busy, refused to assist. They said the associate would be back from lunch in 20 min. Really???
I was accosted by the staff at this store today! According to the massachusetts order pertaining to covid-19, peoples who have a medical exemption from masks are still allowed in stores. However, Staples staff not only yelled at me, the manager got less than a foot from my face and I felt so unsafe. I understand that its scary when you see people who cant wear a mask but you still have to social distance and this woman was really right in my face. It was the most traumatic experience Ive ever had in a store!
Purchased printer ink (2 pack, color and black) at this location that was opened in one of their “security boxes”. We found out when we got home. No one at the store knows how that happened. One of the cartridges was fully opened inside with no tampering seal on them. The outer box was taped with a small piece of scotch tape. Called the place and drove back to return it. Costumer service was 1 star for sure making my wife feel like she did that on purpose to get something out of it. We already paid full price for the ink, we just wanted the same exact thing even if it came in two separate packages but that didn’t happen so we paid more and walked away with less.
Self-service machines do not work--I tried three times on two different machines. Takes the credit card but then has to reboot every time when you actually try to print something. Clueless.People behind the counter totally incompetent. Just wanted 50 pages from a pdf off a USB drive. After dithering around doing I dont know what, they needed my phone number for some reason. No, you dont need my phone number. Just print out the pages, please. I got my drive back and got the hell out of there.Corporate response to my complaint even worst--apparently not able to read or something. We have self-service machines available and associates ready to help behind the counter. Yeah, I know, I just told you that didnt work. Duh.Some baloney about needing my phone number for security purposes? Really?Just print out the pages! In serious need of some new management.
Terrible customer service, and a painful experience each time I find myself needing something from Staples. I went there every month for about 2 years to the print & copy center for 25 simple blank and white word document prints (of course, shame on me for continuing to go back each time thinking it would be different). Each and every time, there was an issue with the print job. Whether it was the incompetent or rude staff, trouble with the machines, or just inconsistent ways of getting print jobs successfully completed- there was an issue every single time and I would leave frustrated and irritated that I once again put my faith in them to complete a simple print job.My father in law just recently went there to purchase a new home computer and also had an awful experience. He was there twice for a total of over 2 hours while managers tried to find the computer in stock in the back- long story short was just another experience of incompetence.Today, going there to pickup an online order of printer ink for our business and I didnt bring my ID with me- and of course they made an issue and would not give me my order that I already paid for without an ID. I reminded them I was coming from a business and gave them the rewards account but his response was well, you wouldnt want someone else to pick up your order so we need an ID. Sure, I wouldnt. But this is ridiculous and were talking about simple office supplies. We give them a lot of business and he did more harm to Staples than good by allowing me to walk out of there without my ink that I had already paid for because I didnt have my ID on me. Just terrible experiences over and over again, terrible customer service. We will take our business elsewhere from now on
The Copy & Print Center performs awesome work under Brie the Supervisor in this location. She handles all who enter with kindness, care, and awesome customer service. She has done amazing work over the past few years and has risen through the ranks. I highly advise if you must get copies done to go see Brie in The Copy & Print Department. She is a skilled professional... and very nice and gets the job done!!
A disreputable store. I called to ask for availability of services and prices of the copy and print center. I was given a set of prices. I drove to this store to use those services and they tried to charge 50% more than quoted by phone. When I pointed it out they insisted I must not have been clear about what I wanted on the phone. It is hard to confuse Black and White copies! The very definition of deceptive marketing practices. This is not the first time this store has given me bad prices or information on product availability by phone either just to get me in the store. Please, avoid this store and give your money to more reputable businesses. These corporate chain stores that want to act this way need to be chased out of town.
I have not once placed a print order that has been completed without problems here. They cant figure out our business cards, add a white border to our brochures, and now they cant print our banner on time. The website and my confirmation email all clearly stated that the banner would be available by Friday evening, but now they say not until Monday. Everyone in the store is always nice and helpful, but something is wrong with how they complete their print services.
I wish there was the ability to make the review 0 stars. On Saturday, I stopped in the store with 2 print requests. I was instructed to send an email with pdf versions of the requests. One was for a poster. I received an email later that day informing me that the poster printing equipment was out of service. I was never informed about this when I was in the store. I never heard back on the second request. I sent an email on Sunday morning asking if it was ready to be picked up. Never heard back. Called an hour later and they claimed they never received the email on Saturday. They did however admit to receiving the follow-up email on Sunday. NEVER AGAIN!! If you need something printed, go elsewhere
Excellent customer service!
Very helpful from the time I walked in the store. The young went to work for me. Im handicap and he was very attentive and caring. So I hope that anybody going into the Staples store at 555 Hubbard Ave in Pittsfield ma, has the same experience that I had. Thank you Staples.
The Print Shop has gotten so much better! They have had 2 associates the past 2 times Ive been there, which is am immense help! Keep up that & they are golden!
Staples is good they have alot of different office supplies and devices. Audio products and photo center.
Store is always clean, nice selection. However, the staff always looks like they hate their lives. Makes the experience a little depressing.
The team there is very helpfull and very knowledeable about there departments
Very helpful copy center staff.
Lucky to ger 1 star.
Great service but pricey
Fast easy service. Very helpful.
Friendly service, everything in stock I needed
(Copy and Print) - Never once did I have them give my flash drive back on their own. Are they really trying to steal them? That would explain the huge box of them they have behind the counter! My online receipt they mentioned...Never happened, I have business taxes, so thanks again.. I divert this place so hard, but sometimes Im in a tough spot, so I pray it wont suck, but nope it does. again and again. Every time I try to print, there is a new person there trying to save the understaffed, over busy copy center. I hate writing reviews, but I am so sick of this place I would pay double to not deal with it..Seriously!
Recently visited the branch in Pittsfield MA.What a night mare!!The staff has no clue about what there selling . Trying to sell from empty shevels. Lets just say I will not be visiting this establishment anytime soon.
I was truly disappointed with my experience at the Staples at Berkshire Crossing today (6/22/18).It started when I called the Print Shop this morning asking for the email address of their store so I could send them pdf’s I needed printed. The person who answered the phone was not only impatient, but upon spelling out the email address for me he promptly hung up the phone! I let that slide only because I knew it was unlikely that this person would change their tune simply because I complained (… and of course here I am now leaving this review…). I sent my email, received the usual “thank you sending us your print request” email, and went on about my day.Fast forward 6 hours, and I had not yet seen the “your prints are ready” email, so I called to check in on the status of my order.Unbeknownst to me, this Staples branch is no longer accepting print requests through email because they “Unfortunately this is the first time anyone has seen your email due to the amount of customers in store and online orders being produced”.I informed the person over the phone of my phone conversation earlier in the day, to which she had no reasonable reply… So I told her I would take my business else where. If you (the reader) want a much more reliable and pleasant Staples experience, come down to the Great Barrington branch – I’ve been going there for years and have no complaints!
Odd store. Lots of stuff :not in stock and/or online purchase only. Overpriced office supplies with prices change erratically and untimely. Hard to find a normal sales person on the floor sometimes. Shop there only if you have to.
Staples has a knowledgeable and professional staff, a tremendous range of products at reasonable prices, and easy access.
Erratic. Sometimes the help is vg other times not so much. Unfavorable store hours with late openings. In a pitch, I might shop there. Not my first choice.
Store/sales team was understaffed. Young man working the register wouldnt even get off his phone to look up as I approached to check out. Cashier wearing iPhone AirPods is not good customer service or professional. Seems like the store needed some manager supervision.
Friendly staff, the store is clean, and pricing is reasonable.
Great place,, great help too.
