Employees are very helpful to me. They graciously lead me to items I cant locate in this big store. And Willie, in the Deli and all over the store, is VERY helpful, generous, kind, professional, and knowledgeable. Walmart is fortunate to have Willie representing them to the public!

Phenomenal customer service by Marvin in Walmart Delivery Department. When there was a Door Dash issue in picking up my order, he was on it immediately, made sure my order was correct and followed up with me with a phone call to keep me informed on my order status. He was polite and efficient in helping solve the issue as quickly as he was able. THIS is what great customer service looks like.

I usually prefer this Walmart because it seems to be stocked better and they have less foot traffic. But their lack of cashiers is only made worse when even their self checkouts are out of order.

AGAIN NO shopping carts!!!!I always come shopping here and ALWAYS in bad weather...do NOT expect a shopping cart in the entryway like every other normal store.Also the last time I shopped I smelled deep hard fried chicken all the at the other end of the store. Is the ventilation working?Other than these issues this is a great store.Nicest people ever!!

Cancel part of my pickup order because they claimed it wasnt available. Had to do other shopping and could clearly see they had item in stock. Also what happened to being able to pick up in the store (not everyone has a vehicle)?Also apparently since they dont give the (standard) receipt with pickup orders I loses out on bonus (free) materials with my items

WORST WALMART TO DO A PICK UP ORDER AT. the orders are constantly cancelled. Management is absolutely NO help. All they say is there’s nothing they can do. When I do a pick up order, I have to wait well over 30 minutes ever single time. When I get it delivered, they send the wrong order or can’t find the order at all. The App works half the time. I’ve never had a harder time ordering my groceries, than with this Walmart in particular. It’s ridiculous. Don’t shop here.

One checkout lane open at 4:00pm on sunday the line is crazy long.

The items in the store are never in the right place when you get to the register it scans for a different price. It has happened to me multiple times. This should not happen everything should be in the correct place and listed with the correct price.

Got an email for pickup order. Checked in and waited in one of the bay (2 PM). Waited around 40 minutes and called them (phone number on the bay). The agent or the manager responded saying my order will be ready at 7 pm today.Wondered if I have to wait till 7pm!! Terrible experience 😪

Always clean and well organized store. Not as busy as others in the area. Fresh produce and shelves well stocked, plus friendly staff throughout.

The parking lot is trash. The entire parking lot needs to be redone. The store is not to bad. Most of the morning workers are awesome

Store pick up is HORRIBLE. Management sloppy! They don’t answer phones. This is a business at the end of the day and we waited over an hour for a pickup that I got an alert was ready before 5. There were many very frustrated customers. No one answers phones. This store is ran extremely sloppy! Won’t be shopping at this location again!

Ok so this walmart is a rare one. Ive been in just about every walmart within a 30 mile zone from me lbs and this might sound strange but its the quietest Walmart Ive ever been to. If your from Hammond, merrillville, Homewood etc youll know what I mean.

A good store with a nice friendly staff. Let’s face it, Walmart is a part of most people’s lives. This location does not disappoint at all. Kudos!

Nasty customer service people who ignore customers who are waiting in line while the employees talk amongst each other for over 15 minutes. Then get annoyed when they have to actually help a customer.

Plainfield Walmart is the best. The Shorewood location is trashy!

One of the best if not the best Walmart in Chicagoland.

I showed up about 40 minutes before they were supposed to close because I wanted to pick up a game from the electronics section. After walking around for around 30 minutes looking for help (about five minutes before they were supposed to close) the person who had the keys to the cases told me that they were closing and that it would take too long to help me. So I wasted nearly an hour of my life driving to and from Walmart and I wasn’t even able to get the one thing I had gone there to get.

Typical Walmart. Dread coming here at all times.

Julian and Brandon saved my Day! I had a faulty old battery that left me stranded after i just started a new job! I gota jump, made it to the 12690 rt. 59 location in Plainfield. These men set me up with a new battery, installed it for free, checked my tires, reported levels on service order, all within record time! See pics! I will drive out of my way to come back! Its worth the trip.

Very bad welcome committee at the front door no hello welcome to to Walmart, and no assistance on the floor from crew members of Walmart, more training should be considered there.

2nd time Ive been there that there were No shopping carts on the store, by the doors, for customers 👎.I noticed the numbers in the parking lot and grabbed one on my way in.Other than that, its about average for a Walmart.

While Walmart has a wide variety of items they cant seem to keep their shelves stocked and it seems to get worse everytime I go. The last time I shopped at Walmart it took me 25 minutes to checkout, the cashier had no idea what he was doing. In his defense I believe he was mentally challenged and the was simply not a position he should have been put in. Very poor choice by management.

All of us I go auto shop my car oil change I buy my other cars for tires and are doing good job I buy brand new two tires I said new tire go back order come front but he did one new tire backside one new tire front side this is not good combination I pay $256 oil change two Douglas tires two wipers I dont know how is $250

Apperantly due to COVID -19 there are restriction on which items can be returners and not. Wasn’t sure about keeping a pair of rubber boots so I still bought it. Eventually I did not need it for my trip and tried to return it but was refused. Apparently there is a note on printing paper saying about these restrictions. Store employees mentioned it’s everywhere including at all check out points, but guess what - It is not. I proved it to them but still refused to take it back. My bad for getting used to easy return policies, still..now I’m stuck with it.

I had very very bad experience at this Walmart I have waited one hour and a half for them to get a bike down off the wrecked for me I had to ask ten people to help me and that one person help me I order a bike online its a Susan and komen the brakes came very bad they were not in line. They were not to write it or anyting I could not get the pricing be fixed over there I could not have I could not return the bike they fought with me on that right now Im paying and another 100 dollars to redo the whole bike brake line assembly because there was none brake lines that was threaded or cable through so I had to take it to a bike professional and I am paying now $100 but I originally got the bike online delivered to me for $198 so I think its so bad that I have to pay this money and I havent even had the bike for 2 days they wont reimburse me or nothing so remind you do not order any bikes from any Walmart

Its nice i come here for most things. Food. Clothes (yes you can actually find cute stuff with a decent price), craft supplies, make up. They have a wide range of things and thats why i come here. The staff is also pretty helpful. A lot of younger kids but they are still helpful

After another employee wasn’t able to help, Sadie went above and beyond to make sure that I did not leave without my card. She heard her coworker’s thoughts on the inability to do what needed to be done, but tried any way. I am glad that she was right. Thank you, Sadie.

Had a great experience getting my glasses at the optometrist. Katia shared with me tips on which frames to find and ones thatll fit me (if they were not too big or small). Most people wont bother. She also gave me ideas on clip-on options to choose to from. With all the choices, I stayed with the one I picked at first, but Katias friendly personality made the experience enjoyable.

No one was behind the bakery counter ans when I got someone her response was Wsup Very professional. Bread aisle shelves were not stocked, non of the aisle were properly stocked and was at 10:00 am.

Walked in the door for garden section and was literally screemed at to get out by the lady that was sitting at the table just inside the door. There was no sign saying employees only but she was very adamant and dramatic about it. I guess that entrance is so they can check employees but a sign saying so would be nice and the attitude was definitely not appreciated nor appropriate. I mean I understand some people being scared of covid but seriously way way out of line and I was wearing a mask but somehow I was going to contaminate everything if I came in that way? Like seriously? Because the other doors have some magic anti-covid screen? Wont be back to this store. If your that afraid stay home please.

After 20 min of waiting on curbside, they telling me that order is by the orange tower, i went in another 10 min waiting, with such a wait were faster to get it my myself from store

I’m currently waiting for my online food pick up. I was the first car here and checked in right away. 8 cars later and at least 25 minutes, I’m still waiting. They also didn’t add my lunch meat to my order. I’m not sure why.35 minutes for someone to bring out my groceries. I get home and the young man out the 24 pack of soda on top on my bread and chips. Ripped bags too.We have tried to call five times and the phone just rings. No one answers.

Unbelievable, there is a sing at the door with the working hours but the staff closed the store an hour before!! The worst was that the staff laughed at us and closed the door at our face!!

Seems like there are employees all over but the store is filthy. Only self check out lanes open and they were all smeared in a greasy looking film. The one I used had a pile of hangers and onion peals all over.

I went to order a cake, didnt have to it was already there going to get it on Saturday, premade cake

Parking lot full but cashier lines not bad. We chose self service and followed a lady getting cash back but she forgotten about it. I saw twenty and five and caught up to her to return it. My wife said it was more like $125 but it was a reaction and the right thing to do. I dont regret it.

2/6/21- waited for 2.5 hours for grocery pick up. Nobody would answer the call in number.. App didn’t work. Received so much attitude when I asked someone for help. Worst experience ever!!! This is my second horrible experience. I’ll be moving on from this location and never looking back.

The website says 11pm but they close at 10pm. I couldn’t get in at 9:50pm.

My husband waited 3 hours for grocery pickup in spot 2 and they came out and told him to leave without our groceries. We are so upset! No one would pick up the phone in the store. He kept asking the employees bringing out other people’s groceries that he’d been waiting and they said they would get to him but no one did. I finally called the pharmacy because they were the only one to pick up the phone. They were able to get me someone named Auja. She assured me that she would get someone to bring out our groceries. After a half hour someone came out and told my husband to leave. Unbelievable!! I called Walmart customer service to cancel my order and complain. This is unacceptable and it’s not right to treat people this way. The workers at pickup could care less. I will never be buying anything from Walmart again.

Extremely busy. Custom service line was long with only one person working it at first after 10 minutes another person came to help. But when you check out you almost always have to use a self checkout lane.

The shelves were stock.. which is a plus to go in and find everything for once available. Oh! Happy Day....🤗

Can I give them no stars? Walmart put in a new system that kept trying to have me get groceries from the second nearest store about 6 miles away. My local store is 1 mile away. My first order was canceled due to lack of help. I reordered for the next day. That order was delayed until 20 minutes after they closed, then I got a reminder to get my groceries. I attempted to pick up my groceries the next morning and it was horrible! The woman next to me was waiting 2 hours! I waited for nearly 2 hours before they told me they couldnt find the order. I had to remind the woman in their call center to apologize for what they put me through. The woman I dealt with for my groceries was very nice. This is a software issue trying to send all the business to a secondary store that was completely overwhelmed. Walmart get it together. I won t be shopping there for a while. Three days later I ended up at Costco .
