These guys do good work and offer the best prices i could find in the Chicago area (and trust me, I got a lot of quotes) the sales person we worked with was upfront, clear, and honest and the install team was clean, quick, and friendly, also theyre selection of slabs and remnants was huge, if you need a particular type of stone, they probably have it.

We love our new quartz countertops! They have a huge selection of granite and quartz to choose from! From A to Z everything went smoothly. Masyn and Kasia were great to work with and extremely helpful! Highly recommended!

This review is long overdue, but I wanted to let you know that we were very happy with our purchase and overall experience with you. We picked out and had you install a 5 foot granite bathroom vanity top with sink and we love it! We also bought a table top from you that was made out of a granite remnant. Weve been remodeling our new home the past year, so weve stopped by Midwest a few times to check inventory, as we have several rooms that need counters. I didnt choose Midwest for the first couple projects, as I found the slab I loved elsewhere. Ive had a wonderful experience with the 3 salespeople in the office until this week. I stopped by to check out stone for our master bathroom. I got Jack for the first time. Never dealt with him before. He treated me like a criminal, interrogating me after looking up a couple old quotes I had in the computer. He wanted to know why I keep wasting their time since I didnt choose them for our kitchen or powder room. He said they carry everything so I had no excuse to go elsewhere. He was the rudest person I ever met. Not a way to drive business, by degrading people who didnt buy with them in the past. I followed up today, wanting to know prices for specific quartz and marble I picked out because his quote did not specify what grade level my selections fell in. The quote was very vague and confusing. He called my builder and ripped him a new one as well. My builder couldnt even finish the conversation and hung up. I dont understand why hes treating customers this way. Every other business Ive dealt with in our remodeling project has been so nice and helpful, even if I didnt buy anything. Avoid this business like the plague! Theres other granite places out there that are respectful. Sad because I like everyone else there. Jack blew it. My husband called and told him to remove us from their database. We want no affliation with Jack after his multiple tantrums.

We have used Midwest stone for years. The selection is sometimes overwhelming with all the different slabs, but the staff does an excellent job of guiding us to what we envision.Thanks again for always helping us or our customers who come in, you’re the best.

We just remodeled our kitchen and Midwest Stone installed our countertops for us. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of their yard, amount of slabs and the variety of color choices. They helped us pick the perfect stone for our kitchen and it looks fabulous!Very easy process and great experience. We will be seeing them again for our bathrooms.

My wife and I went there to look at counter tops as ours was in very bad shape. She picked out a granite top and back splash. The counter top was awesome but the main piece of the back splash didnt look right. No worries we contacted Melissa and a new back splash was ordered and installed and it looks GREAT. Thank you Midwest Stone, Kasia our sales person who was excellent and Melissa who made sure that we were happy for a job well done. I highly recommend them.

They did our new house’s tops, did great. It all came out wonderful. Customer service was good, they came back 8 months after install for a warranty issue, no questions asked and fixed it perfectly. Great job.

Awesome job on my bathrooms! Our vanities look amazing and so does the backsplash. The ideas initially thought up by us were not so far off and with the help of our salesperson we chose the perfect countertops for all 3 bathrooms!

At Property Renovators Inc., we use Midwest Stone Sales for 99% of our granite and quartz countertop purchases. We appreciate working with straight-forward, no nonsense company that does the entire job from start to finish, from purchase to fabrication to installation. The convenience of being able to pick out our slab in person, combined with knowledgeable staff and quick turn around times make them our go-to for our renovation business.

Poor customer service. Scheduled someone to come out and measure. I live 2 miles from their shop. Guy was supposed to come out before 5. Didnt show up until 7. We had to leave, so I told him to go home and I would reschedule. I thought I was being nice. That cost me a$150.

Very pleased with the entire process at Midwest Stone, from sales, to measurement, to installation of the tops. We even needed two pieces replaced due to a color variance. They were replaced within the week! Top Notch!! Our Sales person was Kasia, I would highy recommend her!

I recently had granite installed in my kitchen and master vanity. Members of my family had used Midwest stone and had issues but figured it out would give them another opportunity. The installers forgot to shut off the water valves when they removed my faucets in the master bathroom and when I turned the water back on, as you can imagine, water began pouring out and flooding the bathroom and bedroom. To make matters worse, when we called to discuss, they immediately blamed it on me saying that I must have done something. Unfortunately for them, the home was vacant and in process of remodel, so nobody had been in the home to change anything when the countertop was installed. Mistakes happen but customer service was HORRIBLE!! Would not recommend Midwest stone to anyone!

After spending a considerable amount of money at Midwest a year ago, they were unwilling to perform minor service work for granite that was not purchased at their facility. I am disappointed and will find another store for my future purchases.

They make up prices as they go and try to charge more for direct purchase than a home improvement store. Not sure what their business model is, but ripping people off must be part of it.

Buyer beware. I went in on a Friday at 4:00 pm and got a quote of 2600. I went back on the following Sunday and the price went up 1200 more! They claimed it was due to the tariffs from China but that is only 10-25% more-not 50% more. I have since contacted other companies and discovered these companies will not raise their prices until January.

Huge selection, reasonably priced, and very helpful friendly staff. We couldn’t be more pleased with how our new countertops turned out!! The installation was seamless and they were able to easily accommodate the existing backsplash which we kept. We would highly recommend using Midstone for your granite purchases.

Very disappointed with customer service. There was a section of the marble they delivered that wasnt polished (unable to see until over head light on at night) and when I contacted then they accused me of dulling it. They did send out a very nice man who polished it as it should have been done before delivery. I had to pay for the fixtures to be removed and then re-installed all because of their poor quality control of allowing the marble out and installed without checking to make sure the whole piece was polished. Every time I talked with Tina and or Bob they accused me of doing something to the marble! And all it needed was to have the polishing finished!!!!! This cost me $125 to have the fixtures taken off and reinstalled - Midwest stone would not finish their polishing work until the fixtures were removed and refused to do it themselves and I had to pay for their error!!!!!!

Counters look great, installation was great too. They dont seem too concerned about exceptional customer service but if youre looking for a straight-forward process at good prices, this is your place.

Top notch organization, top to bottom! Ordered Silestone slabs from Midwest Stone at closeout pricing for my kitchen renovation. The price was great, the office staff was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. The on-site measurer and installers were respectful and completed their work efficiently. Not to mention the project was completed UNDER budget and WITHIN the estimated timeline! The countertops look BEAUTIFUL!I hope to do business with them again, and being an architect, plan to refer them to clients.

Midwest quoted us $7k for counters that I got done for $4,200 elsewhere including a bathroom and 2 sinks. Female salesperson didn’t want to bother with us and we just left. Very unprofessional. I would not send anyone here.
