I have been buying felt online from Benzie Design for my business, HartFelt Crafts (HartFeltCraftsShop on Etsy, @hartfeltcrafts on Instagram) for a few years now and have literally never had a bad interaction with them or product from them. The quality and array colors are unbeatable in my book. The wool felts are absolutely wonderful to work with and for what you get the price is incredible!! They are the only felt I use! Thanks y’all SO MUCH for providing top notch service and products! I hope to one day visit the shop in person! Love, love, love this store.About a year ago I changed the type of medium I normally use in my art to embroidery floss and felt, however I didnt like the choices of fiber I found on Amazon or Etsy. Finally, I came across Benzie and was blown away by all the amazing products they had and went on a shopping spree. I have bought several more items from them in the past year, and will continue. Thank you!

Benzie Design to the rescue! I looked and looked for wool blend felt at every big box craft store in my area, and found none. Their store is easy to find, GORGEOUS inside, and full of everything you need for felt crafting and cross stitching. Kits abound for beginners and yardage for experienced crafters. The employees were really friendly. I’m making Benzie Design my go-to stop for crafting from now on—if they sold yarn I’d never shop anywhere else!

Buyer beware that the photos show yardage of felt for the Dashing Through the Snow Advent Calendar project but you dont actually get that with the felt ordering option. Benzies was not helpful (and frankly rude when I called) and suggested that I could return what I bought at a 15% loss to me. They need to update the photos or make it abundantly clear that it is not included. I spent almost $90 and STILL do not have everything I need to complete the project. Will not buy from this company again, and you shouldnt either!

This is one of the cutest craft stores I have been to. They sell mainly felt and poms, but also offer classes, have embroidery thread, and mini craft kits. They offer felt of basically any size you might need and have a huge variety of colors. I wish I lived closer to Benzie’s, though my wallet is very glad that I don’t!

Its been a couple years since I visited (lol seriously, I live in Indiana!), but I have been trying to find excuses as to why I need to travel back to Plainfield just for this store!It seems difficult to find places that carry any real selection of tools/materials for needle felting, but Benzie is great! I follow their Instagram in hopes I can visit the store again soon. Great employees, great atmosphere, and (arguably most importantly) great products to choose from in the shop. You wont be disappointed if you go in.
