If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Ive lived in Plant City almost 20 years and Ive never had a good experience at the CVS pharmacy. They tell you one thing on the phone and then another thing when you get there. It always took several trips and phone calls to fill my birth control. The same prescription every month and there was always a problem. Ive dropped off prescriptions with a promise that they would be done at a certain time and I come back and they tell me the next day. This last time, I signed up for a Covid booster online and they when I arrived I was told I wasnt eligible because of my age. The website asked me my age. If you want to buy overpriced sunscreen or cosmetics, fine, but I would never use the pharmacy here. I will do my best to never come back here again.
This cvs pharmacy si the worse they took for ever to have My prescripción ready, but that not all they didnt give me the right medicación i needed the most, i Guess i hold My pain . Happen to me twice 00000 star
Extremely disgusting bathroom. This is from many months or years of neglect. Definitely not a safe place.
My wife called for a prescription and they told her they couldn’t fill it before closing but she could call their 24 hour location and have it transferred. After she hung up they locked the prescription so it couldn’t be transferred. She called back and waited on hold for 15 minutes just for someone to pick up the phone and disconnect it at closing. Terrible customer service!
So extremely rude I really dont like the Pharmacy. But the staff in the cvs is nice. (: I have seizures and I need my seizures medicine right away & definitely cant miss a day & they are so slow on getting my pills. Not a fan of this CVS Pharmacy at all.
I love coming here all the staff are so sweet
I have been a customer if this pharmacy for decades..Pre-covid when the pharmacy dept was 24 hrs, considering that they are hospital local, they were busy n needed to e pand n hire more employees..now under this pandemic issue they had to shut diwn part of their production time and decrease staff..Now patients cant carry their RX to the pharmacy anymore..it has to be faxed by your dr...ok no problem except i went in 3 days after my drs visit..it hadnt been touched..6 medications..very stressful .Problem resolved with .Prompt speedy service. ..they should be allowed a partial crew to work at night while they are closed n sanatizing.so that they can work at trying to keep up on all of the in coming patients needs..
Apparently the customers are hired to be their own cashiers here just like Walmart
Staff were extremely professional and went out of their way to help. They didnt hesitate to check other stores in the area when they were out of a particular prescription drug and transferred the prescription to ensure that everything was ready when we arrived at the other store.
I am a diabetic and I needed insulin syringes. My normal pharmacy was completely out. So was I. I have insulin dependant stamped on my license. But they refused me service. I had bought them in the past and seen no reason they should have refused. If Walgreens had not been completely out i would not have asked. I plan not using s cvs for anything I may need.
Currently still on hold at 33 minutes pretty sure they aren’t going to answer because after being on the phone for 15 minutes with no answer i left and came to the store. i am also currently in the store to try and refill my prescription and i don’t even hear a phone.
The CVS Pharmacy associate that I spoke with on August 7th at 9:30pm is the rudest person that Ive ever spoken to. She answered the phone like it was her personal line. She told me that I should have listened to the prompts. She had an extreme attitude problem. Im transferring all of my prescriptions tomorrow.
If I could leave 0 I would ! This is the worst pharmacy ever. My prescriptions are never ready on time and they always have an excuse. This time it’s a medication for my newborn so she can eat comfortably!!!! They are having issues processing insurance so I gave them the number and case number to take care of it. She told me I had to get out of line and come in to do it and I told her no because I have my infant in the car and I’m not bringing her in there due to COVID. She said well you can wait in the parking lot for someone to call and we will call you when it’s done but you can’t sit here.I am currently still in the parking lot with my infant waiting on a phone call from the pharmacy that I will probably not receive. I’m sooooo over these people. They mess with my BP medication almost every month and don’t have it filled on time. But now this is involving my child and I’m not happy. I will be switching pharmacies because this is the WORST customer service and pharmacy I have ever been to.
43 min in the drive thru with only 1 car in front of me. Get to the window and there 6 people working in there.
Unbelievably rude customer service. I cant imagine anyone enjoying picking up prescriptions because they are sick only to be talked to with such disrespect. I truly hope nobody talks to the employees ill loved ones the way they speak to their customers. If you dont like your job get a new one.
Pharmacy staff discriminates against seniors who have healthmarkets insurance. Further, they would not help a visually impaired customer transfer a prescription. If you are old, poor, and coping with limited mobility, forget about this CVS pharmacy.
My mother’s surgeon electronically sent a prescription (today - 11/10/2020) for a common anti nausea med after she experienced post op nausea/vomiting at home. The surgeon’s office sent the prescription shortly before 2:30 PM. It took almost 2 1/2 hours for this CVS pharmacy to fill the prescription! Meanwhile, my mother was extremely sick, developing a post op fever and becoming dehydrated.I understand that there are hurdles to deal with because of the current pandemic but I also have medical training and find this situation shameful. If a prescription froma surgeon’s office cannot be filled in a timely manner, this should be communicated with the patient, if not the office, so it can be sent elsewhere. The lack of communication, professionalism, and any form of empathy in this situation is ridiculous!
The front area customer service is great but the pharmacy is horrible! My doctors call in orders and when I go in the following day, they claim they didn’t receive anything. Have to call my dr back which confirms they did put the prescription in. Turns out they never listened to the message. When I call in a refill they give me a certain time for pick up and when I go pick it up it’s not ready. That they have no idea about the time that was told for me to pick it up. After waiting on a drive thru for so long for them to tell you to come back. I try calling and can’t even get through Brenda’s they don’t answer that’s neither. I think it’s time to switch pharmacies. They blow up your phone for refills but don’t actually have anything ready at the promised time.
Manager was so rude to employee who was helping us.
One of the employees there was so rude and didnt let my mom and my sister coupon as much as they could. He didnt want to let pass the coupons even though it was acceptable to stack coupons and the item would be nearly free. He threw the bags down and was mad. I would hope they will talk to the guy because their job is to help out the consumers. Hes a big tall guy. But overall the stores products are good.
If I could give no stars I would. This is the worst customer service Ive ever experienced at their pharmacy. No one has any idea what they are doing. And they are extremely rude.
Pharmacy people are really rude and didn’t even try to help after my 3rd time stopping by trying to pick up my prescription
Rude pharmacy tech for no reason.. go to a different pharmacy don’t waste your time here. If I was the manager I would talk to your staff cause it cost 0 dollars to be nice to others
Went through the drive thru... there are, no lie, about a million dead bugs clinging to the window frame. It’s disgusting. The clerk told me”I can’t do anything about that—it’s a corporate thing.” Um, really? No one can come outside and sweep them off? Oooookay. One star then. 😐
The pharmacy is terribleeeeeeeeee!!!!! I CANNOT stress this enough! They take forever to fill a prescription and they NEVER answer the phone. I was literally on hold waiting for someone to answer for 25 min... they are super unprofessional I will for sure be taking my business else where, don’t even bother with them. I have gave them multiple tries thinking oh it’s just busy oh they must’ve misplaced my prescription but enough is enough. I’m not a complainer but this is my medication not just any store. Hire better staff please.
Yesterday they said my prescription would be ready by 11:00 today. I got there at 5:21. I sat in the drive thru for 17 minutes only to be told it would not be ready for 30 minutes. To their credit it was only 5 minutes before I got a text that it was ready, then I spent almost 20 minutes in line waiting to get it. At least the employees were nice.
This is absolutely they worst CVS! Does the Manager care? Id say since Troy left it has gone down hill. This is the Rudest staff they have ever had.
I dropped off a prescription and returned 2 1/2 hours later only to have the pharmacy tech tell me that they had not filled my prescription as yet. If I wanted to wait it would be an additional 20 minutes when I reminded her that it had already been 2 1/2 hours her reply was that they were working on prescriptions from five days ago! Apparently their pharmacy is seriously understaffed! If it’s a medication you really need, I would suggest going to a different pharmacy or making sure you have time to stand there and wait for it!
Are all CVS like this place! Just horrible
They never know what there doing always telling me wrong information. There always busy and never answer there phone. They make getting medication so much harder. They may be understaffed, but the staff they do have, have no clue what there doing or talking about or they do they just don’t care. I’m never getting my medication here anymore. They will lie to u and tell u the wrong information.
Very unprofessional. Wait 1 whole week to get my prescription. They always say there working on it but there not
My orders always say check id they never do....its the slowest place ever and then they are super rude...
Always a very slow experience. Drive thru never has 2 lanes working. Inside counter just as slow. Frequently have problems with refills. Mail delivery is a better option if you must use CVS.
Terrible pharmacy can’t get anything right, they text me to say I have prescriptions ready I’m to reply with yes so I do, they never tell me my prescription is ready
This is by far one of the busiest CVS store nearby due to it being 24 hours and next to the hospital.Despite their busyness, the pharmacy staff stays on top of it. Casey and Troy were so friendly and helped me get all of my prescriptions ready.Love this store!
Good luck trying to get a hold of their pharmacy.
There was an issue with digital coupons, and the manager just got argumentative. Im sure its not their fault that the coupons dont process through their system correctly, but Im not going to check out at a robot cashier station, then argue with a manager over my digital coupons, from their own app! The employee was nice, but the manager went into full angry twitchy mode, when I decided not to complete my purchase because they wouldnt honor coupons. He didnt even seem willing to hear my side.... Its a shame, because the coupons are the only way I can afford to shop there, and it would be convenient. Ill be making the trip to Walmart instead.
They are slow as molasses! My prescription is never ready when I come. They need some serious procedural and management overhaul.
My prescriptions were transferred from Walgreens due to my insurance. I called and was on hold for 1:22 before I hung up... AN HOUR FOR PRESCRIPTION INFO.. UNACCEPTABLE. I WILL BE CALLING MY INSURANCE COMPANY TO HAVE MY SCRIPTS TRANSFERRED BACK. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!
It shouldnt be so hard.to get a prescription filled and this isnt the first time.
Call and said prescription was ready and got got there and was told it be 20 minute to get it filled
Male Pharmacy Employee on 3/7/19 Evening (He had man-bun) gave my mother INCORRECT information, causing her to not receive her Rx. She was discharged from a 4-day stay in the hospital on 3/7, is a dialysis patient, went to this CVS to pick up her Antibiotics Rx. This male employee told her the medication was out of stock and told her to check other CVS, giving her back her Rx paper. He did NOT offer any other assistance. The Dr re-sent the Rx today 3/8 and we called this same CVS to see if the Rx could be filled. The Pharmacy answered Yes, we asked why did they tell us last night it was out of stock? The staff member on the phone today told us it was an error on that employees part. Our question is, was it a negligent error, RACISM, or something else? These types of errors should NOT be made with sick patients. People need their Rx for their health, and a delay in medications could cause any patient to become more ill. My mother desperately needed to continue her Rx immediately. This is a disgusting way to treat a sick patient. This CVS Pharmacy needs to have professional staff before someone takes legal action on their incompetency.
Pharmacy is lacking customer service took forever
Always helpful and professional. I was in car with grand kids and husband very sick and needed an otc medication so went to drive through to ask if they could get it for me and they did! Didn’t even have to get out. That helped so much. Love this CVS and staff. Store is always clean
These pharmacy techs are NOT TRAINED properly! I would rate this pharmacy a ZERO if I was able to. EVERYTIME I go in there, I am told that my insurance does not cover my prescription.... I had to call my insurance MULTIPLE TIMES so that they contact this pharmacy! And YES my insurance DOES cover my prescription. They’re just not trained properly and they don’t know what they’re doing. SAVE your time and don’t go there!
This location is awful!! Unprofessional. I was the only person in line at 8:55 in the morning. All employees glanced at me and NO ONE acknowledged I was there. 15 minutes I stood there with no help
Its great that the pharmacy is 24 hours bit what good does that do you when the male head pharmacist at night doesnt want to do his job and refill prescriptions. He tells you to come back in the morning and they will be ready. He is the only one that ever acts like this. I switched my meds to another pharmacy.
The Cleanest CVS I have EVER been in!!! The Staff is AWESOME. The Store Mgr is REALLY a nice person himself. CVS if you have staff like this in all your store. You will always have a awesome company.I dont know if the staff ever gets to read what is said about the NICE things they do.But Im sure they hear all the BAD things that people says about them which I think they should hear both the GOOD an the BAD.Thanks
Wish I could give them 0 stars. Theyve lost my prescription twice. And instead of working with me to resolve the issue, they called me a liar and told me I needed to contact my doctor - again- to send them another prescription. Theyre unbelievably rude. They must have drug addicts managing the counter because how the hell do you lose a prescription TWICE??! Do not do business with CVS down Alexander. Theyre dangerous and losing prescriptions.
The front store cashiers are always pleasant and welcoming but the pharmacy center. Omg. Horrible service. Very unfriendly and make you feel like a burden . You ask questions and they give you sorry answers.
Beware of this CVS. The pharmacy is awful! The pharmacist hung up on me as I tried to explain something to him. They treat pharmacy customers as if we are imposing on them. Have they not forgotten we have other choices. VERY RUDE!
The pharmacy has the worst customer service.
This place is the worst every time Ive come here I have had to wait an hour 2 hours 4 hours to get my prescription even when the doctor calls it in this Administration is horrible
Always helping as fast as they can. i’ve had to get prescriptions in the middle of the night and they have been so helpful and friendly even at 4AM
Pharmacist JOJO was very rude. Was even more ruder when presented him with a coupon for the medication.
Unfriendly staff, I waited for assistance at the photo counter, the store cashiers would just look at me but didnt offer to help, the store wasnt busy at all. No reason whatsoever for their unprofessional attitude. I left the store empty handed.
My wife turned 2 prescriptions in at 12:30 and at 4:30 still not ready.
Slow services, etc.
This store and staff is amazing!! Ive lived in PC for ten years and its my go to store/pharmacy. The staff is outstanding i.e. The other night I had a medical emergency and Mrs.Vicki noticed I was upset. She came around the counter and gave me a strong hug and stated I needed it. And actually I did. I needed it more than I thought! Keep it up yall!!
I’m giving one star because they won’t let me do zero. Tonight was the THIRD time our doctor sent a prescription for my asthmatic child and CVS didn’t have it in stock and claimed it was on “back order” and we “wouldn’t be able to find it anywhere else”. THEY DIDN’T EVEN CALL US AND TELL US IT WASN’T IN STOCK. We showed up an hour later and only filled one of the prescriptions (his inhaler). When we asked where the other one was, they said they didn’t have it and had to order it. Our son would have been in the ER by tonight if Walgreens off Baker & Thonotosassa hadn’t saved the day. It was in stock and they had it ready in 5 minutes. Even they said “let me guess, CVS didn’t have it in stock.” This is not the first time it has happened. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME. First time, ok second one, shame on them. THIRD TIME? Shame on me. I’m only sensoring what I actually want to say about CVS because my review will be deleted if I curse I’m sure. I’ll never shop or get prescriptions from CVS again. I recommend that if you have health issues, don’t let CVS fill your prescription or you’ll end up in the hospital. We will be making a corporate complaint as well.
Get some help in pharmacy drive thru for real. Waiting over 30 mins is ridicolous
I have been coming here since they build it and everyone that works there is very nice very helpful
Very attentive and helpful; not just standing around to occupy time. You could tell she really wanted to help.
The pharmacy dept is horrible. Super slow service and the women there are rude-!!! The female pharmacist there was so rude over the phone, I called in to ask about a prescription dosage and she was just like whatever attitude and didnt even bother to look up my account she just said yeah whats ur question? So i read it off to her and she was like yeah, you take all of it. Its to help start your period and I am like.. no this is ovulation induction medication what are you talking about. And she quickly corrected herself yeah yeah ovulation induction. She didnt even bothered to ask the name of the drug or anything. Im a RT and I know medications and healthcare.. I just needed clarification if they wanted me to take all 8 pills in one day or spread throughout 8 days like most people take them. I could tell she had no idea what she was saying. How these people pass tests and how they get a job is beyond me. You dont just say yeah yeah to a customer without first knowing the drug name and what the prescription says. This pharmacy is the worst, every time I go there. I am switching to the Walgreens next door. They seem to be nicer and more professional.
Store is ok for emergency purchases. I only use the pharmacy because it is required by my insurance. Do not use their mail order, if you can help it, as their incompetence seems intentional. Recently had to have my doctor submit pre aurhorization verification for an expensive medication which my wife had been on for several years. Wife had to go without for an entire month which obviously saved CVS hundreds. Eight phone calls later finally got approved. Bad situated which should have easily been avoided.
The best pharmacy Ive ever used they are very helpful
I went to this cvs on 8/9/17 at about 9:40 pm, walked in looking for the airfreshners but I stopped at the body wash looking at the different deals they have and an older lady with gray hair ran after me and asked what I was looking for I said Im looking at the body wash but Im actually looking for febreeze she walked me there stayed there with me the whole time and as I was walking away towards the exit a tall gray haired old man ran towards me and asked if he could help me, I said she just ran towards me and now you do the same thing do you think Im stealing ? He said no Im just asking because of the survey, I said to him what survey I was just at the other cvs and nobody followed me, I feel really uncomfortable because it looks like you think Im going to steal something and Im not, I walked right out of that store didnt purchase anything because the two people working that night made me feel horrible and very embarrassed . I will call the manager tomorrow to make a complaint and I will not visit that cvs again because of those two horrible people .
Ordered prescription Monday pharmacy manager assured me it would be there in store Wednesday midnight. This was not the case this has been has a monthly occurrence and is pretty ridiculous. Unprofessional and rude pharmacy staff, poor customer service. Does not recommended this pharmacy to anyone. Will be going to Bills Pharmacy in Brandon from now on.
No hair care products (Texturizers or Beard color) for Black men.
Everyone at the pharmacy is great and they handle even the people with terrrible attitudes. Hence the reason for my review today. Each of them are professional and sweet, there was a nasty gentleman who completely disregarded myself in line waiting & moving me out of the way to slam his hands down on the counter demanding to speak with a manager. Keep in mind I just walked in and heard this gentleman yelling and cursing at the woman passenger in the car as he parked. Then here he is disrespectful to me patiently waiting for my turn in line and starts out yelling at the pharmacy crew. A manager was not on site at the moment so the woman pharmacists not tech tried to assist him. He wouldnt give her any time to speak just yelling how he was going to sue for discrimination of a senior citizen. They each were calm trying not to excallate the situation, he asked to use the phone to call the corporate office, so as a coutrsy they allowed the land line till he started being disrespectful yet again by derogatory remarks of what you cant hear do you need my hearing aid? so the woman took the phone from the man as quickly as possible and asked him to leave that she would not allow him to disrespect her in that manner. He had no regard for the 5 of us waiting to be serviced, yelling and being brash. Finally the gentlman tech stated sir if you do not leave peacefully we are calling the police. That cursing at his fellow lady employees was inapprorprite and he was standing up for them. So the woman picked up the phone to call the police and the gentleman said youd hear from his lawyer and stormed out...Its a sham these always sweet people had to deal with such a mean and overbearing man. The only reason I have to switch pharmacies is due to my insurance network or Id still be a customer. Dont let this man who had serious issues bring down the store or your sweet staff. If you need a witness Ill be one.
I think it was a manager who assisted me at this CVS location earlier and he is very nice and helpful!
This people are great you just hv to be patient in/with life in general
The pharmacy staff at this location is terrible and that is nicely put ! Avoid this place because its nothing but a headache
Pretty good pharmacy.
Great store.
This pharmacy has a very racist manager when I go to get medicine or anything that follows me and it makes me feel like I will steal And he scared my kids 😭
Very rude lady in the pharmacy department. Will not be going to there again to get my orders.
Prescription over price even wit
Nice group of employees.
Great pharmacy
Night pharmacist is lazy and rude! They have now lost my business.
Just called and was hung up on.
Im visiting family for the holidays and I decided to shop at this particular store. My experience here was terrible! The staff is poorly trained, racist, and conversed amongst one another rather than assisting customers. This is not how a business is operated.
Store needs some serious cleaning, inside and outside
Pharmacy is a nightmare.
Pharmacy staff is horrible
Friendly pharmacy staff
Nice place
Veey nice
I always have trouble collecting my prescriptions at the pharmacy
Very good service
Excellent
