I did not have much time to prepare for a long distance trip which led to my car not really ready for the journey. This led to me driving long distance on bad tires and having car troubles in Vermont (I am from IL). The mechanic in VT told me how bad my tires were and suggested I get some new tires as soon as possible. G&G was the closest shop and got me in quickly at a good price and I was on my way. The place is dirty, noisy and expensive. But they know what they’re doing. They’ll tell you what you need to be back safe on the road. I don’t feel like they’re trying to take advantage of me. It’s better if you call and make an appointment and be prepared to wait because they have plenty of customers. I’ve been going there for years. Haven’t had any major issues.

Local and family owned, cant get much better than that! The Bechards are honest and fair. Always have gone for my tires, went today for an oil change and inspection- this will be my go to place for all services from now on. Better price and better service than jiffy lube, and with PMS right next store, they can actually get your parts replaced when needed (rather than saying its out of stock and to come back). Synthetic oil change and new oil filter was only $47, plus a complimentary coffee in the waiting area. Jiffy was charging me double! Plus, G & G does not require appointments for oil changes, so they are just as convenient and quick as the big chains. Thanks G & G!

I got a quote online and the tires were special order. Installed 3 days after quote in about 20 mins. They noticed my inspection was expired so they called me and had that done and said they already inspected it and would issue the sticker. Great service.

Robin who owns the place is excellent customer service, the prices are fair and the work is done quickly and efficiently. They have plenty of work to do because they are good at what they do. If youre looking for a front end alignment tires mounted balanced and rotated exhaust work any type of engine work these guys do a good job. Theyre worth checking out if youre looking to compare prices, and they stand by their work. Highly recommend them.

Nicely done tirchange

Used to do business here and will not do it again. Went 7/7/20 to have 4 tires mounted and balanced on my 95 cadillac. While the workers were quick and curtious, after a day of driving I noticed a vibration throughout the vehicle. This morning I called g and g to let them know there was something wrong as the car never had a shake until they did the tires. Robin told me to bring down the vehicle and they would look at it. The car shook so bad I couldnt do over 45mph plus I had my 8 month old son in the car, so I brought it to A and A auto by my home. Sure enough, all the tires were severely off balance after I spent $112 at g and g. Another $40 later and the problem is solved. Call g and g to get a refund and they wont because I couldve made it, they couldve fixed it, it wouldnt have damaged the car. My childs safety, my safety, and the integrity of my car matters more. Well it wouldnt have hurt the car ... really? Just unnecessary stress to the wheel bearings, shocks, my brand new tires, and many other components because it wasnt done correctly. You lost a customer and I will continue my business elsewhere.

It was awesome in and out in a half HR with 4 new mounted tires for our toy hauler going back to get the other 2 tires soon

Had to replace trailer tire so orderedon Monday and got them the next. Although they didnt have any room at all for a big truck they were able to change tires on the side of the street quickly. They were very friendly and helpful. Also very eager to get your business. Great job.

I have had a bunch of work donr over the years. Great customer service and satisfaction.Robin listen to your needs and the quality of the work performed has always been done well.It could be a little tricky to get in or out but dont let that be a reason not to go. There is always someone there to assist with the traffic and your needs.

Okay so... There prices are responsible but they said they couldnt give my car an alignment because of one of the front springs and a strut. I feel like they were fishing for more money. They said it would just go out if alignment again, so, I brought it over to the Shearer VW dealership in Burlington and they did it for me no problem. And 6 months later and its totally fine, so fine it could drive its self on a straight road with bumps. So whats the deal G&G tire?

Had to have an emergency repair made on a Saturday. These guys took my car in just as they were supposed to be closing and took the time to give it a thorough going over. They couldnt make the repair that day, but got in touch with me early Monday when it was completed.They were very helpful - even recommended other garages that might have been able to fix it sooner.

Went for alignment, they said the bolts were seized and needed new control arm. Had new part and bolts installed (not by them) and went back for alignment again. Was told bolts were put in backwards and now upper control arms were bad. Out of curiosity I looked at the bolts on the other 2 trucks I have and they’re all installed the same way. Not sure if he was mad that I didn’t pay them to do it and don’t really care. I’ll never go back

NEW YEARS EVE..Plattsburgh NY trying to get to Tupper Lake to be with my friends and family and tires on my sisters honda accord have a slow leak and the tire pressure is too low to drive the car safely. I called 3 tire repair shop 3 hours before their early closing time due to it being NYE and I was told that they had no time to help me and her even look at the tires store to get back home so I suppose I called G&G Tire Company without any hesitation they said bring your car right in will get those tires fixed for you so you can get home. I cant Express enough how incredibly grateful I am. This exceptional customer service will not be forgotten. If you need any services done to your tires G & G is my #1 suggestion. Everybody makes mistakes.But When Im told That Im screwed (By the owner) and that I should had made sure they did their job right then I think they deserve a one star rating. Ripped me off for 500$ in tires. Could had tried to make it right other than insinuating Im a liar. If they had gone into their records they would see I bought my snow tires and my all seasons from them.

Great service, I had a screw in my tire they fixed it for cheap. Only took a few minutes the staff was pleasant and professional.

I have gone here twice to get a car inspected before I bought it. Both times they were able to squeeze me in with minimal notice and they were thorough. They caught little things I had no idea about and ended up giving me enough info to keep me out of a true junker. They were also the most reasonably priced of anyone else I called.

All 4 of my truck tires were leaking from the bead. I brought my truck to G&G and they sealed them up nice. Almost a year later and the tires are still holding air. Under $100 .Good job guys. I highly recommend G&G

Went in for low tire pressure warning light. Naturally they were very busy as is businees as usual there. Within 5 minutes Brandon got me in and assigned of of their employees to look into issue. They were on it, checked and set my tire pressures, reset computer to correct error icon. Seeing as I am a regular customer there was NO charge. Much appreciated and I will always go there for tires, inspection and any other garage need. Thanks to Robin too.

Prices are very fare ans they DO NOT attempt to sell you more than what you need. They stand by their wor and their work is very good. They work hard to get you in quickly and on your schedule. I really like the mechanics at G & G. I have had situations when the mechanic would give me a little education about what was wrong and what was available. My brother in law (BIL) is a very good mechanic, but lives far away. Whenever a mechanic tells me anything, I run it by my BIL and he has always confirmed what G&G told me about the problem, solution, and cost.

We were in the area to see a doctor in Plattsburgh but staying in Burlington Vermont on the weekend. We found when we went to leave that I had a flat tire. I got the donut on and tried to get someone in Burlington to look at my tire and fix it. They had a bit of snow the night before so I think everyone was trying to get snows on. I had sent my husband to his appointment via cab so I decided to just drive on the donut that had been used one other time. One of the girls at the doctors office mentioned G&G. I called them and asked if they could look at my tire and they said come on down. Within ten minutes we were out the door with a repaired tire. They were very nice about it. And the car made it all the way back to Canada in a snow storm! Happy Ending!
