We just traded my wifes 2018 equinox up for a 2018 Traverse as we need more room for our family. Sam was great to work with! Turns out to be a small world when we realized he went to the same high-school as me (years apart!) I even worked with one of his relatives for years. Sam took great care of us. Eric Peary in Plattsburgh was fantastic about trying to resolve an issue with updating the software in a used Buick that we purchased at the Queensbury Dell Buick site. The internet connection was poor that day, but he and the service guys spent hours taking care of the issue. They were all very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Great team!

Its always a great experience with Della. The service manager personally came to our vehicle and arranged for rental. The problem was fixed in a timely manner and were back with our original vehicle running smooth!

My husband and I purchased a Chevy Silverado a few weeks ago. The initial sales service was disappointing. We only purchased the truck because there are limited options at this time. There were to many examples of miscommunication and time delay. Then trying to get the extra purchased undercoating, running boards, and tonneau cover completed was frustrating. Emails sent with incorrect times then making me “late” even though that was what was confirmed. If there would have been a truck somewhere else locally then we would have purchased elsewhere. Also trying to get someone on the phone is impossible. Every option doesn’t work. Angry is how I feel with this encounter!!!

I brought my car in in July to get the bearing changed and the mechanic said it wasnt that bad. Bearings only get worse, so by September it was undrivable. Then I had an appointment to verify the bad bearing and another appointment to get it replaced. July is a quiet time when I can be without a car for 2 weeks. Soccer season is more inconvenient to be without a car for 2 weeks. Based on this and previous experience with struts, I wont be going back to this dealership.

Apparently Im not local enough to buy a vehicle in transit. Thats what I was told today when trying to purchase a vehicle from Della Chevrolet because my trade-in vehicle had out of state plates. In transit vehicle are reserved for purchase by locals. Unbelievable. Lived in this region my whole life, left for the military for 4 years and have a job traveling for the government, pay property and school tax for this region, but for Della, Im not local enough.I still cant comprehend the conversation I had with them today. Utterly disgusted....Cheers Sam!

Every visit Ive had at the Della Chevrolet service department since I purchased my new Equinox has been outstanding. The service advisor, Eric, has been an exceptional pleasure to deal with and Im always happy to see him at the service desk when I enter the service bay. On my last visit, Eric noticed an issue with my brake rotors and brake pads and immediately began the process of ordering the brand new parts and getting the it all done under the regular new-car warranty. And the best part: Eric did all of this, unbeknownst to me, while the oil was getting changed and I was sitting comfortably in the waiting room. As I was paying for the oil change, Eric let me know that hed seen a problem with my brakes and that he had already ordered parts, that they were on the way, and that it was all covered under the new-car warranty. How is that for awesome service! I have been a customer with Della Chevrolet for almost two years now and Im happy to say that every time Ive visited the business it has been a pleasant experience. I have brought my new 2019 Chevy Silverado to the dealership 4 times to have one issue that’s covered under warranty fixed. I live 1.5 hours away, one way. It is extremely inconvenient to have to drive to the dealership 4 times to have one issue resolved.For my most recent appointment they finally managed to fix the issue I was having. I was also scheduled to have my annual safety inspection completed, an oil change, and a tire rotation. I had all of that completed prior to my appointment because I was low on oil and couldn’t wait for my appointment at Della Chevy. Instead, I asked to simply have my tires balanced because my steering wheel was shaking. I was told that they did not have time to balance my tires. Even though I did not need the safety inspection, oil change, or tire rotation. I’m not exactly sure how a simple tire balance would have taken any longer than all of that.With that being said, I would not recommend this dealership. Thank you for your time.

Due to my visit to Della Chevrolet in Plattsburgh being subpar, I was contacted by Adam the service manager at Della and inquired about the situation. Once explaining the situation he offered a refund and to have the vehicle checked out by one of their master techs. They found that there was possibly some squirrels living in the compartment next to the heater blower and may have urinated on the cabin filter. He also had the filter replaced at no charge and on top of all that had washed my vehicle, therefore I can change this review from an initial 1 Star to 4. It would have been great to not have had the conversation in the first place and have the vehicle examined my initial visit but the service manager is great and friendly. I recommend this location for anyone who has a problem with their own vehicle.

When I arrived, the gentleman was there to greet me and had my appointment set in the computer and was ready to go. The oil change and tire rotation took about an hour which was fine and expected. All was very good.

Failed an inspection that needed to be done but for bad rear brakes, weird cause they still have bars to them and rotors are smooth with not a single groove in them. Could be fixed for a small fee of 300 plus dollars..just no pass the inspection let me go spend 30 bucks on brakes and change them myself in under an hour. Pathetic, just a bs excuse for more money.

I went to Della Chevrolet because it was highly recommended by friends and family. Having this be the first time I was going to finance a car, I really appreciated the transparency and quality customer care. Other places and private sellers would usually bombard me, talk over me, or not address me head on. Everyone was incredibly knowledgeable and helped me make a great choice. They work within your budget and do not try to sell you more than what you can actually afford - being a young college student I often had people try to sell me a car that wasnt a good fit for me or was overpriced. Everyone showed great care and answered all my questions; when someone didnt have the answer, they took the time to find them for me and not just come up with something on the spot. I was in having an inspection done for my 2010 Equinox and the service department staff suggested I check out the new Equinox. They had one in the showroom that I took a moment to look at. Well, the next day I brought my wife in to take a look around; open mind, closed wallet. We had a great time speaking with Mitch. He was knowledgeable and helpful while we looked at a the 2018 selection of Equinoxes.After what seemed like just a couple very brief conversations we decided to trade in the 2010 for a lease on a 2018. Yeah, no hard sell and no difficult back and forth over price.This is the fourth time Ive worked with Bill McBride Chevrolet over the past 30 years and Ive always felt like I was treated kindly and with respect. I would certainly recommend stopping in to talk to their staff if youre in the market for a great new or used vehicle.

TREMENDOUS EXPERIENCE in the last couple of weeks with the folks at Della! Specifically, ours salesman, Nick Miller, and general sales manager, James Jennette, were both exceptionally professional, courteous, and patient with my husband and I as we worked through the details of purchasing a 2017 Toyota Highlander that was on their lot from an earlier customer trade. Every detail was perfect: the price, mileage, and features were what wed been looking for after several months of scouring dealerships throughout the North Country. We drove two hours (twice!) from St. Lawrence County to make this deal happen---that good!Despite purchasing a Toyota from their Chevy dealership, Nick and James both knew the details of the Toyota vehicle inside and out. On our first visit to see the vehicle and test drive, our 1st grader was also made to feel comfortable and welcomed at the dealership. All it took was some bottled water and complimentary buttery popcorn to win over our kiddo who wanted to feel included, too. The dealership is extremely clean and organized, including their restroom facilities. We never felt pressure to make a decision that was outside our interests, only informed as is their job to do.We will absolutely purchase from Della again in the future. Nick Miller is an outstanding associate who will treat you well. James was equally helpful. We received a fair trade for our older vehicle and upfront details about our entire purchase experience. Had heard good things about them, but I was severely disappointed by their sales rep.Edit to reflect the response: The price quoted over the phone was between 5,000 and 6,000 more than the sticker price and it took days to get any sort of response, just for clarity. But I appreciate your response and attention to your online reviews.

I was happy that I was informed that I would need an oil change soon and asked if I would like them to do the oil change that day. I was only there a little bit longer than I would have been and it saved me from making an extra visit for just the oil change.

I live in Vermont, and my transmissions went out on Thursday. I looked online found my car which was priced 3k under book value. Called set up appointment on Friday to buy car. Dealt with Ian, he called set up everything and started the process. I showed up at 6:30 on Friday they close at 6 and the car was running for my test drive.
