Has such a variety of things. You can get everything for your home. Clothes for everyone in the family. They also have Jewlery and Beauty products and accessories such as watches, purses and ect..You name it they have it. They always have decent prices and awesome sales. Its your one stop shop for most items. Def would recommend this place.

Definitely going downhill. Some staff is nice others are snobby. Not as many sales like they use to do plus if you even want something affordable you need to have a red card aka their store credit card. Not worth it in my opinion.

Spent a few leisurely hours just shopping all around. Staff was friendly and helpful, always find some good bargains.

Unfortunately, COVID has this place not feeling the same. Could not find what I was looking for. On a positive note, this place is very clean, the restroom felt safe to be in and was well equipped with sanitation supplies, and there were new designers to browse.

Where I get most of my clothes. I would like to call them expensive but I just cant. I care about the way I look and like cool, nice clothes but I hate spending lots of money on them. This place has a wide range of items ranging in quality. I guess I will just have to except how expensive clothes are.

I remember when this place was always packed and well organized. Its not very popular but the prices are mostly reasonable. Just pay attention when you cash out, I had a clearance item for $4 and was going to get charged $30.

Only a place left in Plattsburgh to buy a dress shirt for men. Store could use a little TLC.

This place did not have a large selection and the staff was not the most helpful. I went in looking for a pair of shoes and when I asked if they had my size in the back the worker just shrugged and said “what’s out is what we have”. They were not friendly and they barely had any shoes available. The store was pretty messy and it seemed like the workers were hanging out rather than actually working. I wouldn’t go back to this location unless I absolutely had to.

Decent selection of childrens clothing. Not the greatest value for the money, and styles are bland. JCPenny is definitely showing its age.

Plattsburgh NY Jewelry Department is horrible. I purchased a diamond ring on 11/5/20. Was sent out to be sized and prongs added. Came back without prongs. Was sent back out for a rush order. It is now 12/23/20 and no ring. I checked on it a couple times and the employees were rude like I was inconveniencing them by asking them to check on it. I would not recommend purchasing jewelry at this location. I will never purchase items there again.

The prices are a little high in the kids section, but other than that (and the broken A/C), great clothes amd staff!

For every time that I go in JCPenney I feel like the lights are so Benji it feels like Im back at Kmart when it used to be open in Plattsburgh. It just makes me not want to shop there because looks like a thrift store at times when theres no help throughout the store to try to get it together. But being that this is the Macys of Plattsburgh I guess this is where people that want to buy near to expensive clothes and they feel theyre getting a discount when really its going down to its regular price.

Still a good place for mens cloths in Plattsburgh.

I love shopping at JCPenney I like the clothes that they stock and there always seems to be a sale going on. Anytime Ive had to deal with the sales clerks there all is quite helpful and knowledgeable. Storage well set up sectioned-off according to children adults they carry all types of purses and jewelry and even perfumes along with suits dresses jackets jeans t-shirts and so much more its a great store.

Every time I go I’m told I need a JC Penny card to purchase items and “ i need those deals!” As the ladies would always say.... in a very loud in rude way as if I had no money

JC Penney is a store I have shopped at since I was a child and would come here with my mom. One of the only places I can always count on finding the Levi jeans that I like. I had a great experience with a customer service representative from the jewelry department recently. She went above and beyond to help me all of my questions, took her time and was thoughtful in her explanations, and was very pleasant (thank you Destinee!).

Clean store and helpful staff. Only complaint is today we bought a pair of pants and when the ink tag was removed it must have been done wrong and got ink on the pants and didnt notice it until my son was putting them on to go to a new job. The staff was at least apologetic and said to bring them back to exchange them. Its just costing 40 mins worth of gas to get there and back home. Otherwise I liked the store.

Customer service and sales team fantastic, how ever they need to have someone handle their shoe area. The organization and cleanliness is lacking in that particular area. I unferstand customers try on shoes and dont put them back but someone needs to. Other than that great store.

Very disappointed with reorganization of jcpenny. They dont offer the great sales they used to. Sometimes you could walk out of there getting two things for less than $20. Now youre lucky to get one item for $20. Not worth it to shop there any longer

The place is very messy... not enough employees... I had to wait for 15 minutes to pay for my purchase... but there was very nice lady in the sale department.

I do a lot of shopping for my sons and myself there. I love the prices and the selection and now its just an added bonus that there is a Sephora there. It is definitely my favorite store in the mall we have here

I dont know whats happened to the store lately. It seems like a flea market. The only bright thingsare the Sephora and the jewelry.

Absolutely the worst in customer service in the store. Jewelry had to send something to get sized told me and on the receipt said they will call when it came in. Weeks go by heard nothing go to the store they say its here but they cant find it. And theres nothing anyone can do they say.

Found what we needed and at good prices...came away satisfied.

Some great deals to be had here, you really have to do some digging and the inventory seemed very picked over. Staff presence is a bit scarce but more then helpful when you track them down. Overall an ok experience and well be sure to go digging again next time were in town.

We be shopping for a few year, has changed the look and style of clothes price has gone up but still fine seconds in the clothing line, suit jack the arm not sewed right wanted 200.00 not worth it.

Yuke! Discounted cloths outside of store in mall. Store looks like its never swept cleaned. Clothing strea all over. Not much folded or even hung properly. Dressing room like a sex shop never washed down. I know people that work here and need jobs. But this is the dumpiest messiest Pennys ever. Even the regional outlet stores with chaotic sales were organized clean and showed interest toward consumer. Plus, cashier transaction take an eternity.

Usually go there to buy pants but the mens section is usually very disorganized, i end up spending roughly an hour trying to find my size 36x34 because everything is in shambles and thrown about.There are good deals sometimes but you end up spending alot of time sorting through things to find the sizes your looking for it has always been this way in the 20 years ive been shopping there .
