Great inventory but they lack skilled help and the help they do have seems like they dont want to help you or you cant find anyone.

Ordered online and they said the order was ready. I went inside to get my order and they told me it’s ready but in the shelf. What’s the point in telling me the order is ready but I have to pick the items myself.

We bought plants today and it was a decent selection. However there are far too many people I side the nursery and there is no space for shopping carts. I got a little claustrophobic. Wont go back on a weekend!

For being a big home Depot in this area it was not too crowded got in got it out real quickly I was really impressed with the customer service here at this home Depot

Went to Home depot today tobiy a Milwaukee tool. Found what I wanted took 15 minutes before I found someone to open the lock to get the tool. Then I realized I forgot to get the battery for the tool. Found a person and asked him for the battery. He said he was busy and can get to me latter. He walked down to to the original person that helped me, they stood there talking. They walked towards me I asked if someone could open the lock for the battery. They both said they are busy helping a customer. And just walked away. I waited no help. Dont understand why they couldnt get my battery real quick. Instead they both have to help the same customer. So what am I . I left and went to a different hardware store and bought my batteries. Very disappointing. I will just pay more and buy some where else

I really love Home Depot. Love the collection of high quality tools and parts. Love the plant collection. Love their customer service… the staff here has helped me so many times and answer my innumerable questions on how to diy plumbing, electricity, wood stuff. I have to call out Eddie.. such an amazing, patient gentleman. He has helped me do so many diy plumbing stuff from installing a whole house water softener to a new gas cooktop. Thank you. One thing to call out this Pleasanton location doesn’t do tool rental, you might have to go to Fremont or livermore for that.

I wish i could give this place five stars, because some if the staff here are fantastic. However, its the bad ones that ruin it for everyone. More than half the staff will turn away or avoid you when you are trying to ask for help, are rude when you do ask - as if ypu are a complete disruption to their day - or have no idea how to help you. While three employees turned their backs when I went to them for help, one nice gentlemen, who was also clearly disabled and had a hard time getting around, still went out of his way to assist me and ensure I had exactly what I needed. This place need to teach better customer service to their employees, ALL employees.

But the crazy thing of all is that I keep coming back here oh, so this was the last time Im tired of being told wash your hands wash your hands wash your hands. Are became stranded with a trailer and the employees here are much more involved than typical Home Depot employees how many people plays are usually really good but I mean oh my gosh these ones they would do whatever it took to help me especially Lisa and the tool corral Man she was so helpful There was pieces missing that had fallen off on my way there I had no lights she did everything she could to help me get back on the road even helping me after she got off the clock because she saw me struggling I wish this was my local Home Depot because that was a hundred star experience thank you so much

Tried to buy a BBQ grill. Unfortunately it appears that ordering on the internet is now quicker than going to the store and buying. Could not get help to buy a product that was in stock but not on the floor.

Your usual home improvement store but the new curbside pickup is amazing I really hope it continues past the pandemic because getting my stuff loaded for me and avoiding the crazy crowds was awesome. Also so much better than using Amazon which was my alternative.

I dont like to judge on first impressions but every single person I had to interact with in this store was terrible. Didnt want to put any effort into their job, unfriendly, unhelpful,and they tried to force everybody to use the self-checkout when nobody wanted to Im sure there are hard-working employees at this store but I didnt meet any of them.

It is home Depot, you know the place everything but what you are looking for under one roof, you know the place that put all the mom and pop hardware stores outta business...

Home Depot is really starting to have excellent products for Halloween.

Im usually able to find what I need here. Only complaint I have is the signs they use to indicate curbside pickup locations are at ground level, so they can be hard to find.

They always have more than I am looking for.

This review is a shout out to Irene (I dont know her last name), the friendliest person in the customer service department. Have you ever need something there, stand in line, wait for your turn, and when you talk to a rep, they say, Go to pro - desk, then you go to pro-desk, wait in line and then they tell you, Not here, go to customer service. This what happened to us yesterday. But Irene was patient enough to help us and we did not have to go back and forth. She made us feel that she is doing it not because it is her job, but because she understood the customers frustration already. We got what we needed, went home happy and satisfied with her care and service.

Got a problem they will help you figure it out or source you through the right person and contractor to help your DIY project or basic to do list around the house. I tend to visit the San Ramon location first as that is more convenient for me. This is my second choice If I dont find the stuff at San Ramon location. This place is usually crowded so the staff seems a little overwhelmed but are still very helpful.

Right now the main vibe I got from employees was fear. Even from six feet away and in a correctly fitted mask, there was noticable concern. Then again, she want wearing her mask in an effective way.Help was available if sought. She helped me pick a line that wasnt long. Cashier was friendly.I wish I had a large home and deep pockets. I could spend so much money here.

Went to this Home Depot because it had paint equipment in stock that no other Bay Area H.D. could match.

This is a typical home improvement store nothing special about the store. Finding items could be taunting if not familiar with the store layout. Unless using mobile app to make a list first so can see all items on the store isle layout or isle location. Mobile app also helps www in determining price with bar code scan so don’t have to scramble fo front desk to find price. There are always clearance items tucked away on end of the isle so keep your eye open for some crazy clearance deals. Sometimes multiple items shows in stock on app but per store associate they may not be on isle for purchase because app shows store delivered not stocked items so may filter on isle after day or two which is annoying. Also, sometime some associates start restocking items two hours before store closing and blocking off some isles due to lift activity which is annoying too. This is the case for all typical home depot locations.

Asked help to find a couple of items, clerk was very helpful and experienced. Brought me to the products and was knowledgeable about how to use them. Self check was very fast.

This rating is for the employee in the window treatments section at this Home Depot. They agreed to provide us an initial quote based on our window measurements, but then refused to do so, trying to push us to pay for measurement by a Home Depot technician, even before we decided to go with Home Depot for installing window treatments. They were also quite unhelpful and condescending when we were trying to choose the kind of window treatments. At the end of our visit, we achieved none of our objectives during the visit.

Well first of all being followed by loss prevention for almost 40 minutes was not the best experience for me and my wife. I think having somebody in that line of work shouldnt be wearing sandals. I really dont care how big this person is but next time he follows me Im saying something.

This is never my first choice of Home Depot. Im from Pleasanton, but Ill happily drive to the one in Danville or Livermore to get what I want and need.

Today I needed a 2 x 6 cut up so I could build a Christmas tree base. Must be a great day at the depot! Got it cut in less than 10 minutes. The people were GREAT! Off to Christ6light section for new toys.....

Garden department the most popular and long line at check out. Plenty of plants and containers, which is the point of the visit decided to avoid the long line and do the self check out. Parking lot very crowded. This on a Monday around 4 pm, face mask still required along with the social distance...

I came for chromecast. Staff couldnt findit. But they tried best honestly.

No help anywhere. I wore my reflective vest inside and people asked me all sorts of questions, not as ll I had answers too. Selection is good though as and the Customer Pick up people were competent

I try to avoid going to home Depot if its not necessary because the customer service is not satisfactory. Today I had no choice, needed to go there for an item I am looking for, but the customer service again was poor. If I dont need to go there I will not, unless they work on their customer service.

Well laid out, found what i needed pretty easily.

The staff were very nice and helpful. They were very specific when answering my questions.

Every employee we flagged down (when we could - they actively try to avoid you) for help was visibly annoyed to have a question asked to them. When we finally found all items needed, the most expensive item scanned over 25% more expensive than advertised. When mentioned to cashier, they said they can honor it if I go back and take a picture of the price - why am I having to correct their mistake? I guarantee they didnt fix the issue either, so make sure to check your receipt so you dont get a nasty surprise. Go to Ace Hardware instead where you will be treated like a customer rather than a burden.

One of the Worst Customer Service experiences I have ever had. An Orange Apron Key Stand Worker told me to find the Orange Apron Plumber. Really, where shall I search since there was no one around the Plumbing Section... Sadly after opening a few boxes I realized that the Toilet Seat they sold me was used. I realize it was used by not having any bolts nor manuals. Good thing I never INSTALLED the used toilet seat but now I have to spend another 35.00!

Whats not to like? Oh yeah Lowes has better prices on 20 volt power tools like Craftmans. Dewalt is a powerhouse but way overpriced.

Staff are not knowledgeable about location of items. Super slow returns at customer service.Update on 8/1: Customer service is still extremely slow. One staff person was the only one doing returns on a Saturday morning. Its actually hard to buy things here. For example, I wanted to buy drill set. Couldnt find anyone to unlock it, so I left. Youre probably better off buying online at Lowes or Ace.

Ive been to this Home Depot many many times, and the staff has always been direct and friendly with me they have also been helpful.

Like many brick and mortar stores, oh, we carry that on line old fashion service is gone and they helped kill it. Being able to find a clerk to get information is impossible. Oh you want to read what it says on the box, my eyes dont reach 12 feet into the top shelf to read it. Who, on line, is going to walk you through a complex situation, yep, no one.

Not very customer service orientated I

They have a lot of indoor plant choices and the plants are beautiful and in great condition. I got 3 different kinds last 11/7/19 for about 45.00. Worth it!

They always have what I need and what I don’t need as well. Lol

People who work here are nice but the lady helping me was zero help and wasted my time, just for cutting blinds. She even escaped so she wouldnt have to deal with me! lol if you’re trying to get blinds cut dont come to this home depot, go to the next one.

Great selection of hardware and project supplies. Easy if you know what you want. When crowded, it can be a little frustrating to find some help. Starbucks nearby is a plus.

Had an absolutely horrible experience with customer service just to order a door at the Livermore location. 6 hours on the phone and 3 hours waiting for someone to help us (there was no line). Nobody was competent and nobody even wanted to help and kept avoiding their jobs. Switched over to Pleasanton location and was more than surprised when Adrianna took a 3 week long mess and fixed it within two hours on the phone. Didnt make me call back or reroute my phone to the automated service like Livermore did. She took my number and called me personally when she got information and personally delivered the door along with Luca and one other man (forgot his name) HUGE thank you to these 3 who fixed the problem without hassle. Home Depot if youre reading this, give Adrianna a freaking raise

Huh! Was going to give 2 stars but reading everyone else’s praise of the staff I don’t have a negative experience with the employees to counter it. Personally I rate this spot low because 1) it’s a Home Depot (sorry guys but I’d rather support smaller local stores) and 2) I just hate driving here - this location is wretched to get in and out of, jammed away in a corner and you have to make like 5 turns and hit 2 lights, just crowded and silly to access. So there.

Some of their people rock... Some of the others run away as fast as possible... Too bad they crushed so many of the old fashioned stores.

Crowded, items are hard to find, but a pretty useful home maintenance provider, especially in a pinch.

Help is hard to come by

Awful customer service. Didn’t see a single smile on an employee in that store either. No assistance and rudely cutting us off. I prefer the one in Livermore, even if it takes a few more minutes of driving.

Place is so mismanaged. The San Ramon is so much better. What is wrong with Pleasanton Home Depot? Thursday went there they closed the lumber door before 6 pm and everyone getting lumber had to go to self checker. Friday went there waited 30 minutes to get 8 2x4x10 before I gave up and left. Had whole lumber section closed at 3 pm while they restocked. I know should have gone to Lows.
