The gentlemen working in the tire department were amazing! Memorial Day - we blow a tire on our way home. Still have 150 miles to go on 39. Plover Walmart gets us in and changes it in know time. Thank you so very much for helping us. Highly recommended!

I talked on the phone with some chick telling me that they would balance my tires, to just bring the vehicle in. I bring it in and they tell me that they wont do balancing on my tires because they are not the same size tires that came on the truck. Went to Fleet farm up the road and theyll gladly do it. Why the hell cant you guys balance a few over sized tires?

Just got home from having two tires replaced. Having seen previous reviews, I was apprehensive about going here to get the work done... but I couldnt afford to go anywhere else. All in all, Im very pleased! The wait time was off by about 30 minutes but I knew the mechanic was being optimistic in his initial estimate. This was the Wednesday before Christmas... their busiest time of year.IT IS A MUST TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT... like I did.I saw 6 other people just show up and expected to be in and out in 30 minutes, then make a fuss when they are told that might not happen. Dont be self-absorbed. Unless its an emergency, plan and call ahead!

My mind is blown. I purchased a set of tires here (before Walmart took their extreme anti-Second Amendment stance). You can’t set up appointments for tire rotations but if you come in without an appointment they don’t have time to do it. Why offer free rotations with tire purchases if you can’t follow through? Worst customer service I have ever received. Buy your tires elsewhere, and do your shopping elsewhere. Walmart couldn’t care less about you.

Greg, the Auto Care Center Manager, is truly an awesome guy. We came in at 8PM with a bum front tire on our truck and he was willing to stay after the closing hours to put new tires on for us, change valve stems and rotate. We are so appreciative for his work and willingness to help us. It is rare that you have someone who will go the extra mile for you. Thank you Greg!

Was in during the deer hunting and Thanksgiving rush. Tom, Richie, and Brandon got my tires mounted, balanced AND cleaned up. Everyone else in Stevens Point and Plover was booked out 3 WEEKS!! They got me all done in an 1hr 30min. Zero complaints and excellent customer service. No bs sob story they just got the job done asap! These guys should get a raise given the circumstances. Holidays and a mad rush and they get stuff done! Thank you guys! A very happy customer

I was told the only way to get an appointment for my tires to be changed was to LEAVE MY ONLY VEHICLE THERE FOR 3+ HOURS😮🤦‍♀️ so I skipped walmart and went straight to fleet farm for excellent service on the spot! No wait!! If you like rude staff and leaving your vehicle behind, Walmart is the place for you!

If you have the time to go anywhere else, and I mean anywhere, for service on your vehicle then do it. You get what you pay for, poor service and horrible quality. I recommend auto select instead!

I understand first come first serve, but when I come shortly after opening and then told it wont take long because they arent busy, I dont expect to wait 2 hours for an oil change.I have witnessed multiple people come in and leave because they dont want to wait the quoted 1.5hrs.One customer left before his car was serviced because it had been well over an hour and they hadnt taken his car back.Next time Ill just go anywhere else because its not like Walmart is cheaper.

One star is too much! I usually gave Walmart Tire & Lube the benefit of the doubt in the past. Lets face it, you get what you pay for and cut them a little slack. I cannot cut them the slack anymore. I am done with Walmart Tire & Lube. I have had tires mounted in the past and usually put up with the inconvenience of slow service and moderate at best quality control for a good price. I even looked past getting taken on a 5qt. jug of oil last year (they had placed a jug of used oil back on the shelf and I did not notice until I got it home and when I brought it back I got nothing but a cold shoulder and rolled eyes... shame on me for the first time; I will touch on this again) but this time I cannot look the other way. I purchased tires from Walmart online and had them shipped to my home. I stopped by the service center four times in the last week and a half and they were backed up. Apparently two oil changes take an hour and a half I was told numerous times by the person at the desk. I decided I would set aside a chunk of time on the weekend and arrived this Saturday morning at 6:45 a.m. to be first in line... they do not make appointments. It was my sons beater with a heater so I was not looking for top of the line tires or performance. I just wanted to slap some cheap tires on the 15 steel rims. I also needed to buy some oil to change on the beater, so after the car was checked in I went to the oil aisle. While looking through the oil on the shelf, I noticed another quart of used oil front and center. I now check the seals religiously at Walmart due to my experience from last year. I found a floor associate (they are separate from the Tire and Lube center) and pointed it out while explaining my prior experience with the same issue. The associate was appalled and took it the service center. Five minutes later I was called over the PA to return to the service center. I waited a few minutes until someone actually came out of the shop. I asked what was the issue. I was informed the tires were not the exact match to the size labeled on the door. The car has 205/65r15s currently installed by the previous owner. I ordered 205/60r15 tires through Walmart online. The faded and scuffed door sticker stated 195/65r15... or in real world terms, 1/4 difference in diameter. I was then told by the young service attendant that they would not install them on the car. I quietly chuckled to myself and informed him that it was a minuscule difference, and that I had different size tires installed in the past and simply had to sign a waiver stating I knew the difference and waived any liability. He said it did not matter and they would not install them. Coincidentally there were about 6 people in line for service at the time. I asked for clarification of the policy and was told that I could bring in the rims off the car and they would install them. Are you kidding me?! I then asked if I could return the tires seeing I bought them at Walmart. He sarcastically grumbled that I couldnt, and if I wanted, I could take them to the front of the store and take it up with customer service. At this point I was getting a tad bit miffed. I then stated I would then take them to Schierl Tire across town. This is when I almost started laughing out loud...I cant make this up. He said Thats OK,they are a better tire shop anyways. I will now go to a real tire shop and pay the extra few dollars for service. Even if they have the most basic of personal skills and decency they will be exponentially better than Walmart Tire and Lube. I have been beyond patient with these jokers to save some cash but no more! I hate writing reviews, but if I can help someone on the fence it is worth it. RUN AWAY FROM WALMART TIRE & LUBE!

It took them over 2 and half hours to final get the old tires back on my car and get me out the door after making my flat tire situation worse. It toke 15 mintues alone to get someone to come to the front desk for help. Please save yourself the headache and go anywhere else.

The plover Wal-Mart tire and lube is straight on sum bs. They have The most slowest incompetent individuals that they could even hire. Ive been waiting for 3 hours almost just to have 2 tires taken off rim and 2 to go back on rim. They have 4 dumb asses working on 1 vehicle instead of having 1 up front working with customers 1 should be doing tires and the other 2 work in the shop. How stupid are these individuals. Really stupid. Im so done with this idiots never again

Took over 3 hours to get tires put on the car. Couldnt find a worker when we first arrived so we had to wander around to find someone. Nothing was done efficiently, and their excuse was everyone else had gone home so only one person was working. Employees spent most of their time on their phones while we were there.

I would of given 0 stars for this place but it wouldnt let me. I brought in a tire to have a tire sensor replace. All they had to do is remove the tire and remove the sensor. They said it would be 45 mins before they might get to it. They took it back about that time and its been a little more than 35 mins to do the work. I wouldnt by tires there if it take 35mins to do one tire
