Completely honest, down to earth people. I would do business with them again in a heartbeat. As someone who is pretty computer savvy myself (yet occasionally wary of working on laptops or monitors), I value their opinions and experience very greatly.I was even suggested by computer magic to instead of throwing more money at one of my aging laptops, to just give it a Viking Burial because it was more likely than not, to not last very long (if at all) after a fairly expensive procedure. It was difficult because I really liked that laptop and despite a little effort on my part to try to convince them otherwise, they still indicated that the smartest/cheapest move would be to buy another laptop. I didnt agree 100% at the time but shortly after, I concluded they were right on the money.How can you not recommend someone who would tell you: Yeah you could give us some money to look into this but its probably not worth your time. I dont want you to get a bad taste for our business if were unable to fix it properly after you paid us.? That to me speaks volumes about their work ethic and honesty.Not only that but they are extremely friendly as I mentioned before, every time I visit them it always ends in a 10 - 15 minute conversation about technology in general before I walk out the door. Its very rare in this day and age to have a very human business to interact with, and I am exceptionally thankful for their business because of it.Thank you Computer Magic. My MacBook hard drive crashed and I was thinking Id need a new laptop, but it was able to be saved with the installation of a new Solid state drive thanks to Computer magic. Took a couple days after drop off to be ready to go even though it turned into a little more difficult of a job than normal. Price was more than fair, and the service was A+++++++. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and does a great job with quick turn around. Cant recommend this shop enough!

Was told by some friends that Computer Magic in Plover is the place to go. The young man at the counter was very professional and seemed to know exactly what he was talking about. He helped me sort out my issue of a broken video board and sent me on my way within 20 minutes. Sold me the new part at a quite reasonable price, installed and updated my drivers as well. It was a great upgrade for my computer too :) Will be telling more people about this place. Would do business again.

My computer is old. I went to several other places and they would fix it, for a price. I took it to Computer Magic and Kyle gave me the info to make an informed choice about what to do with it. Turns out it is junk and not worth the repairs the other guys were going to charge me. I will miss my windows xp. They recycles my old pos for free

Every time I had stopped by or called the owner I was ridiculed because of the parts I would have inside my computer. The last time I called him about advice of thermal compound he had asked what brand some of my parts were. As soon as I told him he said Oooh Im sorry about that... Like what? Who would say that? Then went on to explain how my part manufacturer was thought of as the cheap end of parts. Which Msi is a very good quality part maker and I have had nothing but amazing results from their parts. Maybe I caught him on bad days but I gave him enough chances to where I would not recommend his service unless you have the stereotypical big brand name for all your parts. Or you could go there and get made fun of because you didnt pick the same exact brand and part that he did. I honestly do not believe many of the reviews are even real.

Fixed laptop at a great price and great customer service

I definitely would not bring another device to be repaired at Computer Magic again. Although the employees are friendly, the level of service I received was very poor. On July 5th I dropped off a laptop for a screen replacement. It was in useable condition, it just had a cracked screen. On July 24th I picked said laptop up. It was in far worse condition than what I left it in. I was told the New screen cracked and they would not do anything further. I am now left with an unuseable and dismantled laptop. Use Computer Magic at your own risk as you may end up worse off than you were prior to stopping in.
