Great friendly service from the time we walked into the store. Was looking for a TV and had done my research online before hand. The sales associate listened to what we were looking for and helped us with our decision. No pressure just the facts to help us make the right choice. After we purchased the TV the manager came over and thanked us for visiting the store and making a purchase. They helped us load up the TV into our vehicle and asked if we had any other questions. I was really impressed with the total experience. Thank you Best Buy with your commitment to a high quality customer experience.

Used to get new phones at Best Buy as the staff had plenty to choose from and did not work on commission. I guess that changed lately because, upon attempting to replace a bulging battery, they said a new phone was required. IT IS NOT! Batteries Plus will replace that battery good as new and the phones are designed to allow for the bulging battery. There is nothing wrong with the phone. Best Buy as simply turned the bulging battery issue in Samsung phones into a way to sell more phones and deceive customers.

I was there for a curb side pick up. Went through the website and entered my vehicle information as well as my parking stall number.Waited for over 30 minutes, and read that if I wait for more than 20 minutes or whatever I can drive to the front and honk.So I did that, and an employee came out and was totally confused. I told him I just followed what was written on the sign since I was waiting for over 30 minutes.Just terrible...
The young man (Brandon) I spoke to about a digital picture frame was incredibly helpful. He was knowledgeable and courteous. The only problem I had was when I went to pay for my purchase they charged me $10 more than it was actually priced at. So I sat at the register waiting for them to figure out why the price difference. Once they figured it out, I was charged the correct amount and I was on my way. This is a good store with knowledgeable people.
I have to say, this store has taken a step backwards with customer service. Slow, and management not accommodating to customers. Tried to return cheap cordless headphones that started on fire and forgot the 6” charging cord that also melted. Was told to come back with all the parts or no exchange. Sorry Best Buy, this manager (Jake I believe) is really not a bastion for keeping customers happy. Another 30 min drive to return a burnt cord. What, to lose me as a regular customer? News flash Best Buy, you’re NOT the only option out there.Update: Bit the bullet and drove back the 30 miles to hand deliver the fried cord with the headphones. The customer service gal shared with me I wouldn’t have had to do that and that for $15, I could have avoided a second trip. Best Buy only had a white replacement in stock which I was told is $20 more because it’s a more popular color. Even with my protection plan, they wanted to charge me for the difference (not my fault their stock is low). Fortunately, a more seasoned manager was available and empowered to override the price. Thank you for the first sign of customer service and common sense. Although the issue is resolved, the experience was not exactly a pleasant one. Great store to shop and I have found some knowledgeable staff on the floor, but pray you don’t need customer service there.Update: 9/21/20. Same issue with these headphones. The light goes pink and cannot be reset. This is my fourth try. Lots of online tips to plug back in and the light will go red and can be reset. This is my fourth that finally failed and no way to reset. Spend the extra money and get something else. I probably spent $200 on these POS’ with warranties and travel.

Update to 5 star.New posting increase to 5 star is due to local Best Buy picking up where online store dropped the ball. Local store reached out to me about my appliance order from 11/2020 that had not yet been filled and are working to get my order filled. Had someone from call center just reached out me to let me know what was going on with my order the original post would not have been negative. Great job local store!!!!!!!! I would give shout out to the two people but not sure if they would like their names mention or not. I will look for a corporate contact to let them know the names of the two people who saved the sale and a customer. Keep up the good work.

Had an issue with a brand new Laptop. Upon realizing it was defective, I was offered an exchange for a new one. Couldnt order a replacement as it was out of stock. The team at the Plover Best Buy (Ryan O and Brock especially) were able to find a solution and get me taken care of. Thank you for the help.

I do all my electronics shopping at Best Buy, it’s just easier and everything is always in stock. Got my work laptop here recently, a Surface Laptop and it’s been excellent. Staff is always willing to help out without the high pressure feeling of a parrot on your shoulder. Highly recommended.
Dont try to pay your credit card bill in full if over $3,000...last month we tried once with cash, they messed up and couldnt process another payment the same day. This time, we tried with a cashiers check, over $3,000... they say they cant process anything that high. My father is old school and wants to pay the credit bill in full, with cash... he isnt tech savvy...he likes to hand over his bills and receive receipts. 🤷♀️

I have been to Best Buy quite a number of times over the decades and in numerous locations. This may have been the single best experience, which says a lot. During my time in the store I had two different managers ask me if there was anything they could do to help me. Isaac put in a new stereo in my truck, and he really was fantastic. In short, Ill be back...
Website says battery not in stock. 1st staff member says dont have it. We checked anyway and 2nd staff member on the battery isle grabs it and hands it to us! Glad we looked for ourselves.

Went in to get a new streaming device for my old tv. Bought a Roku . I was stopped when entering and asked what i wanted. The gentleman directed me to where the units were. I decided on my purchase and headed to the checkout. Other than the gatekeeper and the checkout there was no one to cross paths with. I miss the old days.
Helpful customer service ended up leaving with a pretty nice tablet, case, and one year service warranty through the Greeks squad under $220

In the days of Amazon and Amazon Prime, I really feel like I still belong at Best Buy. Is great to have online sites like those but there is something about the local Best Buy that I just love. I always feel very welcomed when I go there and we just bought a 50 inch television and the customer service was excellent. I really appreciated the employees interest in getting what we need. My husband is a huge gamer so we go there often still to buy video games for PS4. I will always recommend this place to anyone and it is a very friendly spot here in Stevens Point.

They sold us a dryer 5 years ago. Its now out if warranty, but they wont even tell me who I can pay to service it unless I pay them $250.00. Then after that I can pay 100% of parts and get to pay 80% labor. Even they guy at Best Buy thought their policy was stupid

Normally love Best Buy, but their delivery has been a let down. Bought a new refrigerator and it was supposed to be delivered today. The Geek Squad called last night to confirm a delivery time this morning between 9 and 10. Didn’t show, didn’t call. After nearly an hour in hold, I finally got a human, Ed why my delivery was now 5 hours later than committed. She stated “they aren’t coming, it needs rescheduled”. Seriously? Absolutely ridiculous and horrifically poor service.
Had appointment for 30 days, get there tech was rude . No waiting area for repairs, told me come back in 2 hours be done with vehicle. I guess your 75 miles from home because Best Buy can not keep techs,poorly managed installation area

I brought a 900 dollar laptop from here and when was 03/27 and they said it would be here by Thursday the 04/02 which I was fine with. They called me the next day and said someone forgot to put it on order so they needed to push it back a day, I thought it was going to be longer to be honest so I was fine with it. That Tuesday it shows up which I am shocked about. I was so happy and to have everything I ordered and come early with the virus going around. Best Buy, you are great, I will brag about you guys to anyone. Thank you for taking care of me and for making sure everything was in order. Appropriate it!
This is the worst experience in have ever had with Best Buy. They priced an item at 165.00 on the floor with the tag being printed one week prior to me buying. Then when I check out they charge me 195.00 and can’t tell me why. The only answer I got from from corporate Is “because”. Are u kidding me. I jerk no worries never again.

We were looking at Smart TVs on Tuesday and bought one with the help and knowledge of a resourceful young lady. Didnt get her name. Big help. Well, the next day when I had a question. I tried to call the store and got endless prompts. I hung up in frustration. I got a card from Kristin the manager when we bought the TV telling me I should get in touch if I had any questions and concerns. And, Kristin, exactly how should I get in touch with you? I received endless prompts and no way I could in touch with a human. I thought customer service would be a part of the service along with the purchase. I am so frustrated it will be a long time before I am a customer at Best Buy in Plover again. Please, people at Best Buy. These days shopping is frustrating at best and there was no easing of the frustration with this transaction. Please, have someone answer the phone.
As long as they require masks to be in their store I wont be shopping there. The meathead at the front door was very rude.

You can expect a pretty average Best Buy experience here. At some point, someone will ask if they can help you find anything. The staff is friendly and helpful. No issues with cleanliness or stock. I just cant say the locations ever really done anything to truly impress me either. A generally good experience.

Grabbed a sound bar I was researching online right before closing time.The associate helped me find a better one than I was looking for!Absolutely love the sound bar! If you have extra Jingle in your pocket I highly recommend one they make a massive difference in the home theater department!!!

Dont bother calling for any kind of information. Tried calling twice, was on hold for over an hour each time (I understand sometimes it really is that busy), and when a representative picked up, they hung up immediately on me both times. They never spoke a word. I could hear the background noise, and then I was hung up on. Twice. This was ridiculous.

Disappointed. Do not answer the phone. Drove into town to buy phones and a laptop to find out all were out of stock and rain checks are not given.
Employees were condescending and rude. My experience has typically been really good and Ive spend thousands here but now with the mask order the employees seemed to have become filled with hate. Its absolutely unbelievable.

Your website says this location is open (as of June 4, 2020), and that it offers curbside pickup and in-store pickup. It does NOT specify that the store is otherwise CLOSED to the general public. I drove 35 minutes, one way, to buy things from your store, only to find a sign out front stating that the store was open only for in-store consultation and seemed to imply an appointment was needed.I may have availed myself of that service offered- if it had been made clear to me thats how things work at this time on your website. Ive literally been waiting months to go out and buy certain items, but after this, I will seek alternative purchase opportunities. Please consider being more clear on what services you are offering, so that other customers who may still wish to shop at your establishment do not waste their time and gasoline like I did.Thank you.
