Absolute mess at the Geek Squad counter….system is completely inefficient for check in and check out. Guy at the Geek Squad desk is checking people out and doing returns while the rest of us waiting specifically for the Geek Squad must wait. Meanwhile the actual check out employees are twiddling their thumbs as these guys are running around with their heads cut off. Better off bringing your devices elsewhere.

Geek Squad is as useless and carries no more value than the Best Buy name. Made an appointment to have my MacBook looked at. Women couldn’t diagnose the problem because it was completely dead - This was already mentioned in the appointment notes so she clearly left her homework at home or fell asleep in class. Said she couldn’t do anything but could check the internal components. Fast forward 5 minutes and she’s telling me she can’t do it anymore because she has to use a “crowbar” to pry the back off and won’t be liable for scratches. Why are you using construction site equipment to work on computers??? Literally watched a 5 minute video and it doesn’t even look remotely challenging. Bunch of crooks. This is why I go to Best Buy and then buy elsewhere every time.

I had done my research ahead of time so I knew which desktop I wanted. I simply told the gentleman, he got it for me immediately, i paid and out i went...no additional sales pitches, etc. They made my life so much easier! I appreciate the respect I received as an older person coming in but someone who was somewhat computer savvy. Interestingly enough, I was assisted by a gentleman of my own age. Excellent experience! This is the third desk top in 20 years I have purchased there.

I was very disappointed I am a senior citizen I couldnt find what I was looking for and a salesperson sold me a hp computer instead and not the computer I was interested in for more money than I wanted to spend I plan to take it back I hope I can exchange it for what I want

I liked it but I needed help finding a camera some guy pointed me in the right direction but I needed help to get it bcuz the case was locked i found someone he helped me get it and helped me pick out a stand which was nice but the only thing he didnt tell me was to buy a memory card, I really didnt no I needed 1 I kinda thought it came with it I dont know but It would have been nice if he had mentioned it before I left and got on the highway before I realized..

You cant even get a question answered. Unless you put your name on a list at the front of the store. We left the store then came back. Luckily they were not busy at the front of the store. We were able to get assistance from a nice worker. That is why I gave the store 3 stars instead of one.

Horrible experience with Geek Squad. Ive spent thousands of dollars in this store. Today I needed my laptop looked at for an issue. O went into the store at approximately 3:30pm. The TV screen in store states 240pm next available appointment (I have picture proof). The representative says the system and the monitor dont match up correctly. The next available appointment is Monday at 3pm. Why couldnt I just drop it off? Its ridiculous that you purchase a plan and you are made to wait. Its ridiculous to state on a screen and it not to be true. Just not helpful.

Pretty poor pandemic protocols. If you need help shopping for items you have to be entered into a texting system. Supposedly when an associate covering that department becomes available youll receive a text. Its been 8 hours and I still havent received one. I did however flag down a random employee and managed to purchase my new pc after a half hour of waiting.

Wouldn’t exchange a broken product that was sent as a gift because the box was opened. The appliance had never been used because it didn’t work. They said we should talk to the manufacturer instead. Terrible customer service.

One of my favorite Best Buys. I shop mainly for games, and they usually have a good deal and selection. If you make an account you can earn $5 dollar coupons good on anything. Worth doing because its free, and your shopping there already. Area seems to be in the midst of stores closing and some new ones opening. Not sure how long its going to last.

We went looking for about 8 items, appliances, electronics etc. Associate Eric G (nickname Gonzo) at the Plymouth store was awesome, shared so much info and recommendations. He spent a lot of time with us and set us up with a Sales Consultant appointment- we chose the In-Home option, where we could review all the many options that would fit our requirements. Was a very positive experience, customer service was wonderful and a great selection of brands, sizes and prices.

I was looking for a camera to take good pictures and capture video, but unfortunately I did little to no research. Associate Gabriel took the time to go through what I needed, gave me some options, and most importantly gave me the time to think about it. I left and the very next day, I purchased a Nikon 3500, a Tripod, and a carrying case. As someone in customer service myself, Gabriel Roderick is fantastic at this job and should get a raise. I choose Best Buy in Plymouth over Amazon any day, plus the price is about the same if not better.

Purchased a TV online for in store pick up. Downloaded the app and went through the on app process when I arrived at the store. No where did it say where to park. After 20 minutes in the lot I pulled in front of the store and noticed other people pulling up for pick ups. After seeing 4 other people pull up and immediately get service I called the store and talked to one of the nerds at the desk. He started by saying are you sure you’re at the right Best Buy? Then he looked out and told me that I was “parked facing the wrong direction”. So basically I was being ignored for 30 plus minutes because I was not facing the right way. Wouldn’t have been too difficult for one of the employees out front to say “hey do you mind spinning around”. First big purchase at Best Buy and definitely my last. If you need to go to Best Buy I highly recommend avoiding the Plymouth MA store.

My transaction went swiftly. But I wish the employee who helped me was knowledgeable in cell phones. I bought the Samsung Galaxy S20, he told me it came with a screen protector, but it didnt. He knew nothing about the phones, but he did try his best, and printed out the specifications for the phone.

I went with my difficult elderly father to replace his TV. After being momentarily taken aback by his deafness and gruffness the salesclerk stepped up and went above and beyond his duty and wound up selling my father a great TV with his ever important headphone jack. I hope he got a commission. He busted his butt and handled the old grouch politely and effectively.

I went into Best Buy looking to buy the surface laptop 2 and came out with the best deal imaginable. A man named David assisted me and went the extra mile in every way possible. He told me about the price match offer and even did some research on the best price match for me. He got me all set up with everything I needed and helped me set up a payment plan. He was both knowledgeable about the product and super helpful throughout the whole process. Thank you for such a pleasant buying experience!

I like this store. Im an elite member, so I do my fair share of best buy shopping. This store generally has what Im looking and its easy enough to find once you get there. Like another review I saw, the people there do watch and monitor you. Its not a wicked busy store though, so any customers they do have, theyre watching to see if they need help. That could be toned down a notch but overall, this is the best store on the south shore

There ok. If you know what Im your looking for and can tell an employee great. The employees go above and beyond to help their customers very impressed. But if your just strolling not a great place because you are watched like a hawk if your going to steal. Im a huge window shopper and this just made me feel uncomfortable after I made my purchase.

Everyone have can be helpful. Couple of things, check online at Best Buy sometimes they the same product cheaper. Just ask BB to match it.Lastly, I wished the geek squad was more people friendly. Im sure they are very smart, but there is no need to talk down to everyone that needs help.

Geek squad customer service and the manager Mike at this location have poor cutomer service skills. They had an emoloyee trainee working alone for a scheduled appointment. He wasnt able to help us and requested we come back 2 days later. Today i arrived as requested and was advised i needed to pay for a part they needed to order that wouldnt be in for another 24 or more hours. Mike and the geek squad staff was patronizing and said i was yelling when in fact i was speaking loudly though my mask. Meanwhile they were difficult to understand because their masks. I have never experienced such poor service. Mike then told me i needed to leave the store and followed behind me like he was going to attack me. If i could give a negative score and still make this review i would.

Poor management and customer serviceDate:5/25/20Ordered a laptop for curbside pick upWent to schedule pick up and saw that my order was completed.Someone hacked my email or best buy account and scheduled the pick up. I called the best buy and was informed that a 4 digit pick up pin was given and laptop issued.I informed the hourly staff that according to the best buy website they are supposed to verify my identity at pick up, they just said we verified the pin you have to call cooperate we do not deal with it at the store.I called corporate and had a 3 way call with the store supervisor, the corporate office told the supervisor that they messed up and did not follow company policy of verifying the identity of the person picking up an order and need to take care of the issue. the Store supervisor did not seem to concerned and said he will tell the manager.I get a call from another hourly employee saying the manager will call me the next day, no surprise but I did not get a call.If you can please shop elsewhere the hourly employees do not care and It is apparent they learned this from their poor leadership team

The electronic selection in this store is perfect, with all of the best quality brands. The one downside to this is that products tend to get pricy, but they are 100% worth it when you buy them. If you are having a difficult time finding something, ask an employee and theyll direct you right to it. Always a great time in this store!!

I called on the phone before driving all the way there to confirm they would price match a shipped and sold Amazon Apple EarPods pros. $235 price. Then was told at the register they don’t price match when amazon is out of stock. They can still be purchased at amazon for this price I just have to wait a week for them and I shouldn’t have been told on the phone it could be done. I spend more at Dunkin’ Donuts then the $15 price difference. The one star is for wasting my time which is way more important to me than the money.

Tech saved me a big hassle. I had gone in with a question about a future car starter install. He quickly pointed out that my online purchase was inadequate for my particular vehicle. Though it wouldve worked there were starter kits just for my car. The impression he gave me was I would definitely get a better product and was getting more for my money.

I Want to recommend this Best Buy( Chris and Greg in phone activation most especially ) for amazing service. After having issues at the hyannis best buy and being told I couldnt switch from Verizon to Sprint(it was impossible) I was walked through the whole process and these amazing gentlemen spent over 3 hours getting my issue corrected. Chris also personally called a rep at sprint at least 5 times tracking down the issue and I honestly have never seen better service and I am a travel worker. Thank you again guys your amazing!
