Entered to location with the need to replace my tail light bulb. Asked the counter that the 2 gentlemen were just eating pizza in the front. I knew I needed a 10mm wrench, just to take out one bolt and asked if they had one to borrow. They said that they did not which I know is a lie because how else would the change batteries? anyway I asked what bulb my car takes and they said some numbers and sent me on my way to find it, did not even offer to help me locate it. Was forced to buy an adjustable wrench for one bolt. I was the only customer in the building and they looked like I was bothering their snack. Asked if there was a bathroom to use really quick but apparently they do not have those either for the public. Ok man... AutoZone does it better 100%

Love the fact that if you dont own a certain tool for the job they will provide it. I believe the gentlemans name is Carmine that works here hes a good dude knowledgeable and always in a good mood !!!

Stay away from this location. They do Not train the employees how to install batteries the correct way. They put my new battery in and it didn’t start because it wasn’t installed the proper way. Took along time to install as well. Then they tell me my starter went on me. So I buy a new starter because they said that they were sure it was the starter that went. I get towed out of there and waited over 2 hours. Once I get back to my house to install the new starter with my friend which took another 2 hours to install. Once the new starter was in the vehicle if did Not start. Then my buddy and I check the battery out and it’s not installed properly and I was missing clips to it. All I needed was a $6 part and I would have been good and back and business. Workers still lied to me saying the starter was bad all because they didn’t install the battery the right way. I’ve always came her for small stuff and never had problems but I will never return to this location ever again.

Its an auto parts store.. you give them make and model and year, they give you the part you need... If its in stock, if not they tell you what to get out order it for you

First visit is the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars. Desperately needed 3 wipers for my SUV, which they installed in the rain @ no cost. During the installation, I shopped for other items. The gentleman I spoke to, Bob I believe, was very knowledgeable. I definitely recommend Advanced Auto.

Good service by nice, knowledgeable people. You can order things online and pick them up. They have a diagnostic system for your car that performs checks on the system to tell you how your car is running. They also put in batteries you buy from them for free. You can also rent tools to make repairs on your car.

The store manager Jenni decided she didnt want to refund me for my purchase. When I called another store they did the return for me and told me that the reason why Jenni from the point store didnt want to return it because she didnt want to have any returns under her name in her store. Highly disappointed in advance auto point pleasant. Jenni should be fired i will be calling customer support and contacting the higher ups like Bob Raymond and Otto.

I bought two products here in last couple weeks, was told this is what your looking for, this will do the job and they both did not at all. I was sold a water proof car cover. It was as water proof as a napkin....and told when I bought it and it rains I could not return it??! Another was leather interior rejuvenation cream which did nothing at all. Im done with advanced auto.

Very disorganized. The staff was very not helpful. The new employee didnt put any effort into helping me. He had no clue how to interchange part numbers or check stock. I put my other items back on shelf. They lost my business today.

There is a young lady with black hair, shes about 4 to 5ft. tall. Very pretty. Her personality and expertise is top notch. I have been back there several times due to her customer service. AWESOME!!! 😁😊👍

I have a commercial account, I try 2 get Allissa to help me with my parts when I go there, she is always very helpful & does not give up searching for the parts I need .Unlike the rest of the counter help they hire @ that store ! If she wasnt @ that location, I would have 2 take my business elsewhere.

This is a store I’m local to I usually shop here regularly, but will now loose my business and I’m sure many others. I went to the store today and the female manager was extremely rude. I didn’t want to enter my info for rewards and she told me to shop at autozone if I don’t want to cooperate. I’m not one to write reviews, but this isn’t the first time I’ve had issues here.

Paid for the top end gold battery. Goes dead 2 months after warranty expires. Would not do a thing. Called corporate who called the district manager and store manager and still nothing. Their warranty is exact for how long the battery will last expect all their chinese made stuff to break and their customer service to be horrible.

Cashier was friendly but the woman manager needs a serious attitude adjustment. My boyfriend didn’t want to give his name or email for rewards and she told him to go shop at autozone if he didn’t want to cooperate..? She also reprimanded the cashier in front of him. Extremely rude, extremely unprofessional.

The counter person was rude. I purchased wipers about three weeks and one of them was streaking badly. I explained to him the problem and he told me to wait because there was a line behind me. I waited about 20 minutes and in the interim he started answering phones. I guess they had my money so he didnt care about my problem. Thats the last of money Advanced Auto Parts gets from me.

POINT PLEASANT, N.J. Store on Rte. 88, sells inferior and used products. I purchased a Car Battery 1 yr. ago, it lasted 6 months. Went back with it got that shitty grin look. Took the re cored battery off the charger, had to ask for a handle to carry it out. Lasted 6 months. This time I called Corporate, in Virginia. Got the big run around.. Since this area got hit with a Hurricane 2 yrs. ago, it seems this is how they are trying to make up for loss profits for this location. Called, Wrote and Facebooked them, they marked the case as closed. Now having to take them to the Attorney Gen. Consumer Affairs Weights and Measures and BBB. DONT BUY FROM THEM!! BEWARE!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

The quality of the store brand merchandise like brake parts is horrible. The people are friendly, but that does not excuse inferior merchandise. The old adage is that you get what you pay for. This is so true. I use places like National Auto Parts and Napa Auto Parts for all of my purchases. Companies like ACDelco professional and Napa are more expensive, but well worth it because they are much better products. Do it once, do it right
