I was referred by a friend to go there and I was very pleased with the attention and concern for my time and money. I went in for a tune up as my Dodge caravan wasnt running very well at all. After I dropped it off l hed received a call informing me of the situation. And what was the issue.I had forgotten to let them know that my radiator had a little leak but they informed me of it but it was going to be a different day or whenever. Was very fast service and polite as well. The owner even gave me a shirt. I feel pleased to have gone there and intend to go there in the future

I have a 2005 Mini Cooper, and I had a belt which broke which caused my car to overheat. I was lucky enough to get the Cooper to G & M before it died. I was so glad I did too. Vincent quickly diagnosed the problem and did the repair the next morning. Outstanding service. I cant say enough how pleased I am with the service.

Our alternator died on us. We were on our honeymoon and had to get to towed somewhere and we ended up choosing this shop! They had no problem fixing it and got it done by 11 am! I’m so impressed with this mechanic and if we were locals I’d definitely come back for normal car repair! Thank you so much guys! You’re the best and saved our vacation. Car broke down in Polson on a Friday afternoon, most shops around were closing up but Vince went the extra mile. He came and picked me up while we waited for AAA to tow the car. We hung out at his shop and talked until AAA delivered it. He worked on the car over the weekend, on his own time, and had it ready for me the next day. I have never experienced better customer service or hospitality. The car is running great and his rates and assessments were honest and fair. If Vince is any indication of the character of the people in Polson, then I am sold on the town. Thank you Vince!

Vincent and Jeremy saved me and my nephew as we were passing through Montana on a road rally. I had a very serious oil leak on an old car (1976 Porsche 914) and they didnt know us from Adam. But.... They knew we were stranded and took the car in, put it on the lift, diagnosed the problem and proceeded to get to work to locate the parts they needed, fix the issues and get us back on the road that same afternoon! This experience truly restored my faith in humanity... Especially during this very trying time in our country. Jeremy was such a pleasure to deal with and Vincent could not have been more professional, informative and helpful! Really outstanding craftsmanship and dedication was on display. I am forever indebted to G&M for going above and beyond the call of duty.And...to top it off... The cost of the repair was eminently reasonable given the gravity of our situation and the work load that was already in place when we arrived there... Vincent made the time for us and then treated us more than fairly despite the inconvenience we caused him/them! Cant say enough good things about these incredible people and this experience! Go there... They will treat you right!!!

Hands down, this shop is excellent. No games played. Honest people. One of their mechanics, Jeremy, checked our motorhome, diagnosed it, and had our motorhome running as good as new in one hour. Jeremy worked on our motorhome right in front of us and explained as he worked through the issues. We truly appreciate the efficiency, knowledge, and customer service the owner and Jeremy showed us. Needless to say, should we ever need them again, we know who to go to. Oh, as far as pricing, only $135. We couldnt ask for more being they came to our site the following morning. We were expecting to have our motorhome towed to a shop, have it fixed in weeks/months, and cost us thousands of dollars.Two weeks ago, we went to a different shop. We spent $3000 there and it took them 7 days to get it running.Thanks a million, Vincent and Jeremy! :)

Vince and his team are top notch and we feel so fortunate to have met them! We were on a cross country trip with our family and sure enough, just like in my worst nightmares, we experienced transmission problems. Go figure. Traveling up and down mountain passes. ;-) Anyways, he helped to take a very stressful situation and diffuse it for us. Before taking it apart, he prepared us that it could potentially be a full rebuild. We were prepared for it and fully expected that to be the case. Fast forward two days later and he had it repaired (instead of needing a full new one) and at a VERY fair price. We seriously couldnt believe it. Its rare that you run into mechanics anymore that are both fair prices and honest. Vince is both! We wish we could take them back to Phoenix with us. If you are looking for a mechanic, this shop is your place!

Awesome customer service and knowledgeable advise on the various options to replace my engine, great job on my car and doublechecking after the work has been done. Very thorough. And the price also was the best I could find. The owner obviously takes pride in his job and does not try to just get the most $$ out of his customers not matter what. Will get my business again for sure.

While on a road trip my van literally died in this mechanic’s driveway. I was totally at his mercy. He treated me fairly and replaced my van’s alternator promptly! I enjoyed waiting in the waiting room listening to classical music. And all at a very competitive rate! Now I am back on the road!

It’s hard to find honest, trustworthy mechanics a lot of the time so I was happy when I ended up at G&M after my truck broke down. They were very friendly and fairly priced. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

On my way to Flathead for our families yearly vacation my trucks serpentine belt started making noise. I called, they squeezed me in and and had me back on the road in no time. When I came to pick my truck up, I felt like I had been a life long customer! What a great place! I would highly recommend G & M Auto!Thanks again for the great honest service!

They acted like they didnt want to work on my trans and just looked on the computer. They said I dont have to even pull the pan its a rebuild case for your trans if you still want to Ill do it just trying to save you money. I had them pull it because thats the only way to be sure. They must have put a piece of metal in the pan and took my $160 because I put a bottle of trans additive in and the transmission works just fine. I highly recommend you find a better shop to get your vehicle fixed.

I had an issue with the brake lights on my RV while on a long road trip. I wasso glad to find G &M auto. I parked my big RV on the street in front of the shop and a technician immediately came out to assist me. He found the problem within a few minutes (a disconnected wire) and fixed it for me. The owner told me no charge but I tipped the mechanic for his trouble. I appreciate the professionalism and integrity of G & M auto and highly recommend them to everyone in need of automotive or RV help!

Great shop! I was in town for 4th of July & had car trouble. They not only made time to diagnose my vehicle, they arranged the cheapest repair possible . I was back on the road the same day with no issues!Whenever Im in town and need automotive work; Ill go to them!

I can’t speak for everyone’s experience but mine has been wonderful. My car had numerous problems before I brought it in to G & M. They fixed the problems all in a one day visit. My car ran smoothly afterwards and I will still go in for regular car maintenance. Their prices are always reasonable, I can trust that the work being done is reliable.

Have always been treated well, promptly, and at a very competitive price. The best general auto repair shop around. I have taken in three very different vehicles. Always happy with the results.

Let me tell you about my experience with G & M Auto. I was in my way into Polson from Washington for a wedding in August of 2017 and my car, a 1999 Toyota Camry broke down on the way there. It was on a weekend and I had to be back at work in Washington on Tuesday. I called around to nearly every auto mechanic in the area and they laughed at the possibility of fixing my car in such a short time frame. Well everyone except for G & M. They told me to bring my car by that day and tried to fix it that very same day. When they werent able to and I was stuck in Polson and nearly out money the owners daughter drove me and my girlfriend (now fiancee) to the train station in Whitefish. I got a call the next day that they were able to repair my car for a very low rate for the job (timing belt/ water pump replacement). I had a beyond phenomenal experience with G & M and I owe them a lot. Thank you so much everybody who works here and a huge thank you to the owner!!!

Shout out to G & M Auto Tech in Polson for being a local business going above and beyond! My car was making horrible noises just outside of town on my way to Kalispell. They were very friendly and able to get me in right away. I thought, well while Im here, Ill get my oil changed. It ended up being a bigger problem for my car and needing to get towed to Missoula. Seeing that I was not having the best of days, they ended up covering my service fees as well as my oil change. It was such a kind gesture that brought a little bit of light to a crummy situation. They are a great team and would recommend anyone in the area to them.

I like Ken Towne is a great tech and is vary helpfull up front and Vince is a vary experienced mechanic.

$700 later problem not fixed and not confident about their approach.
