Overall, this is an excellent Hispanic-themed supermarket. I stop in about every other week. Its a large, open and very clean space. Produce and vegetables are fresh and prices are good. Theres a full service meat dept as well. Employees are very helpful. Theres also a bank inside along with a few tables for dining. There a few depts, like coffee and tea, that could be better stocked. Their hot prepared foods could be better, tastier. However, the in-house bakery items, tortillas and chips, and salsas are very good.

I always enjoy superior Grocers customer service and prices. They have a great amount of products and items for everyone. If you like great prices and good food try shopping here and enjoy. Check out there hot food and bakery its fire!!

ONLY shop here for very few things because its convenient, first thing is first, almost everytime I stop there on my way back from work at night, there is only 1 register open, which is already kind of a red flag. Second thing, prices are abnormally high for a grocery store in this particular area. Third, I am putting a 3 star because I usually always have better experiences with the friendly employees who are also not to slow/dont take their sweet time when I am at the registers. But only twice, and ONLY this one employee with whom ever seems to have this problem, keeps UNNECESSARILY/pointlessly asking me face to face if I wanted cash back, when I can easily get cash back when the screen asks me to. No other employee there, out of the entire time I have been shopping here, has asked me that except for her. In fact I dont think any cashier at any store at all has asked me that because they probably know there is no need for it, the customers can see the option on the screen already.

I shop at Superior Mkt. because of the selection of meats and produce. The heads of lettuce for only 79 cents each. There is so much more.

First time to visit the store and I like the items they sell.

Problem is one of cashier Tyra R -she ever been normal(nor expecting nice or something ) this time she trick me like I am a deaf -she shaking hers hand in front of eyes few times after that pointing the bag harshly —I said ‘I don’t need bag ‘ replied nicely I am so retreat why didn’t I said something to her —-last time when I organized my bags for her(it was a lot of grocery...normally I do buy a lot —big family)suddenly she angry and yelling to me ‘don’t you dare to touch !’Actually Non of you guys cashier are nice —-their Rude !!! But this one Tyra R she is worst one ——that’s the reason you guys have good price and good quality of grocery and meat but workers(I mean cashiers ) so bad—they always giving me feeling of ‘don’t want to go back ever ‘

I needed an item to complete my Thanksgiving preparations. All of the major food chains including Walmart did not have the item that I needed. I gave it a shot and called Superior as they have bailed me out before. And sure enough the answer was yes, I got there and there was so much stock of the item I needed I had to hunt down the manager to thank him.

I found that they are over pricing a lot of their items taking advantage of people during this time of are lifes.we dont need a store taking advantage of are hard times. I shop there be cause of there low prices I will not go back there ever and wast my money there ever again. I will be shopping at Walmart where they are not raising their prices dearing this Academic .

Ana cashier 4427 was one of the most unprofessional cashiers. I went to this store yesterday for wic food and she had me standing there for over 45 minutes cause she had no idea what she was doing. She said something in my food was charging me money which I dont want to pay so I asked for the manager and she had no clue how to use wic and then Anna started running around for another employee name James and he didnt know what I do either. So at the end I had to pay out of pocket for something I didnt need to.Dont shop here for wic they dont have stickers one all items that is wic approved and none of the works get basic training also the fruits and vegetables are over priced.

I Hope You Like Roaches In Your Raw Shrimp Or Your Meat. Because That’s What You Get When Get When You Buy From The Meat Department Here. Super Disgusting. Happy I Haven’t Bought Anything From There Bakery Or There Hot Food They Have Ready. I Can Only Imagine The Roaches Crawling Around In The Kitchen Back There. Wouldn’t Recommend Buying From Here Unless You Plan On Cooking For Someone You Truly Dislike.

Shop there all the time, my daughter lives right next door to the one in Pomona on Garey. They always have great sales and store is always neat and clean. Oh yeah and the hot food and bakery are excellent

Wallet Stollen! Horrible place. Shopped here 3-4 times a week. Yesterday after paying, someone stole my wallet in line and no one working would help me. Will not be coming back. No one there can empathize having all there personal valuables taken from them?!?!?! I feel like the cashier took it. No one will answer me on checking the cameras to find out. They are also not answering there phone. You would think they would be a bit more helpful.

My rating is for the pan dulce (Mexican sweet bread). I cannot recall an occasion where I bought some from this location and it was fresh. It is always stale. The Covina Superior in contrast has consistently fresh baked goods. I will continue to purchase the pan dulce from this location. If it improves, I will revoke my negative rating.

I went in and asked for fair tickets and the cashier said dont have them and started ringing up the next person like I didnt exist. Then, I went outside to my car and found a man talking to himself and staring at my wife in the car. I saw the security patrol pass by and do nothing. Just drive 3 minutes down the street to Staters where you are safe and cashiers smile and acknowledge you as a person.

No cleaning or sanitized carts or at register and no sanitized when you walk in or out very sad.

I typically go to grocery stores because their alcohol is a lot cheaper than actual liquor stores. My rating is strictly based on their lack of selection.

Really good deli and fruits

I used to love Superior Grocers. But now I find their prices have risen and they usually dont carry the brands that I love. Produce is still the best though.

Dont shop here prices are high. They take advantage of people with EBT cards. With there overpriced items. They also take advantage of the Hispanic customer. Way overpriced.

Great Service and Always Clean

Good grocer. Lots of variety. Check your prices. Some are great, but some lots pricier than other stores. Check out the deli on the left. Fried turkey! It was so good.

Its not only the friendly people who go out of their way to meet all your needs. Its also a high-quality groceries they have that need all my needs. At reasonable prices! Plus all the managers there especially Louis!Is always available if you have any concerns, complaints or just to lend an ear to listen to you rant about daily activities that you go through on a daily basis that makes your day go a lot better than it was before you got to do your daily grocery shopping which makes everything worth it! The is the cleanest Superior I have ever been to. The bolillos are constantly being sold out and replenished in about 30 minute increments. The ready made food is mostly delicious. My only criticism is that they do not have enough cashiers so lines are often longer than I would like.

They have everything. But dont buy meat from here. Unless you use it that night. It doesnt stay good if you freeze it. I have bought meat then froze it when I got home. After I thawed it out it always had a nasty smell so I never by meat from here to keep for awhile . Everything else is great.

Superior Grocers:This store is neatly arranged with plenty of room between the alleys.The sales are rather fake one must buy four or more items to benefit from sales the question is why should one buy three bottles of cooking oil when the need one?please make reasonable sales

It does only have 1 register open most of the time but that is typical of Superior. It usually is quick getting the food but forever to pay. They have Savila plants which is good but dont have everything a Superior should have.

Bad stores

The bakery section needs more qualified people. Two bad experiences first with my wife they couldnt or wouldnt put Happy Birthday on a cake. The second experience was with me the same issue and the only person that can put Happy Birthday was on lunch and left a lady that didnt even know what kind of cakes they where. The worst customer service.

I like that place because they have large variety of products at a very reasonable price.

Interesting I see the comments that say nice fresh bread and stuff when I was told anonymously by a worker that they dont make it fresh, they retag it to make it seem fresh. That goes for meat and bread. So enjoy your stail bread and rotten meat.

The best capiturada bread pudding I ever had was at the north Pomona store. It had plantains and was not dry and delicious.
