As a women, my knowledge of high end cars was limited and Auto critic totally took advantage of me. Now i have major repairs that needs to be done and Im never coming to this place

The mechanic cant fix anything and left the problem up to the girl in the office. She said let me get you a price for that. for something they repaired already. Auto critic the worse.

They were very professional, and also kept us up to date along the way. They have an amazing deal set-up with the Enterprise next door in case you need a vehicle while the car is in the shop. This will be our spot moving forward.

I have a 2017 c300, went to auto critic for simple A/C, and shamefully to say it still isnt working. wasted money with them, when i should have just went to the dealership

Cant say enough about what a pleasure it was to do business with Auto Critic. I had them do a Pre Purchase Inspection on a vehicle I was looking to purchase while Im on the other side of the country. This family owned business was able to put my mind at ease and pick out any issues that needed attention. Great communication and I highly recommend.

Auto critic is the reason why i let the dealership do all repair because these guys could care less about your vehicle.

If you own a German car, this is the only place to have it serviced. Auto Critic specializes exclusively Mercedes, BMW and all the great cars from Germany.Its a small boutique-like facility, not a big factory. And Mike, the owner and expert mechanic oversees every job, so you know its going to turn out great.

I just purchased a car with Mike at Auto Critic and felt compelled to write. I would highly recommend Auto Critic. Mike was courteous in the sale process and other family members joined in the process. They were all very helpful. You can tell a lot about a place by the cleanliness and this place is top notch. I would be happy to tell others about the shop.

Consumers beware! This shop is taking your money to replace parts that are covered under Mercedes-Benz extended warranty/recall status’. They will charge you over $1000 for a SBC BRAKE UNIT THAT IS REPLACED AT NO COST BY MERCEDES BENZ DEALERSHIPS.

Very HONEST and they treat you like family.

I love this place! They are always very courteous and helpful. I have had work my car serviced here a few times and Im always satisfied with their work.

Had my motor mounts replaced here and dryed out my c300 because the sunroof drains were clogged. Picked up the car later and all was well. Then we had the blower motor go bad i opened the hood and found that they lost the duct cover that directs the water away from the blower motor. I returned to auto critic to claim my missing part and they had no record of working on my car. After speaking with the mechanic that owned up to working on it, he said they never touched that part. No one else worked on the car and as a result the water got into the blower motor and ruined it. Now i have get the duct cover and replace the blower motor because they were responsible but refused to replace it. The mechic ran away from me and left the problem up to the girl in the office. She said let me get you a price for that so i left. Good job fellas!

I walked outside my home a few days ago only to find my left rear tire going flat at 4:30 in the afternoon. I looked online to see who I could get my car to before the tire was too low to drive on. I called Auto Critic and they agreed to fix the flat right away even though they were about to close for the day. I got the car over there and the technician immediately started working on my car. He experienced some difficulty plugging my tire. The owner came out of the office. He got a jack and took the wheel off the car himself. He personally plugged the tire, made sure it wasnt leaking with soapy water, filled it back up to 32 pounds pressure, and remounted the wheel on the car. Then he told me No charge. Just tip the technician. This is a man with a heart. Seriously consider bringing your car to this man. He cares.

As a boat mechanic, it makes me laugh when someone writes a review saying, “they only changed a fuse and charged me $125”. Well, I guess the years of experience and certifications, do not count that bring you to find that fuse. I was happy to pay the shop rate for professional service that was provided when we brought our car their.

BIG MISTAKE!!!I shouldve stuck with our regular mechanic, but thought wed try these guys since theyre closer to home and proclaim to be Mercedes experts.We took our ML550 in to address a light on the dash - turned out it was a fuse; cost us $20 for the fuse and ONE FULL HOUR of labor @ $125!!! Huh. Who knew it took an hour to swap out a fuse. When I questioned Mike about it on the phone, he got all huffy and threw a little tantrum. When my wife picked up the car and pay the invoice, he did the same with her.

ONE word...RUN!My story is too long to vent, but bottom line is owner is a self proclaimed know it all and HOT HEAD who cannot give a hoot about customer service, standing behind his work, and on top of it is VERY EXPENSIVE! It is pretty bad when you get over-charged, you question it and the invoice cannot be broken down...shady! The owner just diverts by yelling and blames you.~I will say however the poor gal upfront Teresa is the only saving grace to the place. She needs to really apply herself to a place that isnt so stressful, unethical, and matches her concerning attitude.The Better Business Bureau will be getting a report from me this time!

Our advice: take your business elsewhere. We purchased a Cadillac SRX from Auto Critics (Pompano Beach) in December 2018. The day we called the dealer, we worked with the salesperson Paul who assured us that he had checked everything out on the vehicle, and that everything was in good working order. We were very insistent that everything be in good working order, or that we be made aware of any issue, because we lived over 900 miles away and could not inspect the car without spending significant money and time to inspect the vehicle. He said he understood and bragged about the “awesome” condition of the car. We agreed on a sale price, placed a $1000 deposit, and purchased non-refundable airline tickets to fly down and buy the car the following week. The next day Paul called us to tell us that a hood strut and tire pressure monitor were not in working order, and we argued about who should pay for it. He assured us that those were the only items that were non-functioning. Several days later, the afternoon before we left to fly down to pick-up the car, Paul called and asked if we were going to pay for the hood strut and TPM, and he assured us again that everything else was in good working order. When we picked up the vehicle, Paul attempted to rush the signing of the papers since it was at the end of the day. We took his word that everything was in good working order after he drove us from the airport. We settled on us paying for the parts on the hood strut and TPM, and he covered the labor cost. After we got home, we had a state required inspection for our sticker and found that the hood strut and TPM had not been installed, and we had 5 items repaired (some in order to pass inspection) costing about $1350. There are three items we have not repaired at an estimated cost of $500. We contacted the owner Mr. Depaci who has done nothing, not even the courtesy to return any response to our certified letter. Based on our experience, Auto Critic is untrustworthy, to the point of boldface cheating (charging for parts and labor for work not performed). There is no good reason to do business with them, for any reason. The owner has no concern about deceitful and unethical behavior in his business.

Exceptional customer service. You actually interact with the owner/master mechanic which is a good thing.
