Despite the pandemic and a few hiccups along the way regarding permitting, Dawn and her team were able to complete my project on time and very close within budget! I would use them again and again. My job involved new floors throughout the whole house, a new kitchen, a new master bath, moving plumbing, taking down/rebuilding several walls. There were so many moving parts and subs coming and going and Dawn handled all of it with expertise and know-how. The custom cabinetry is beautiful and the end product is something that will definitely stand the test of time. Really cant recommend them enough!
We are so happy with our new kitchen! It exceeded our expectations. Scott was amazing from beginning to end. Wayne is an outstanding installer - perfectionist. Sandy was also very friendly and helpful with our selection of sink and faucet and door hardware. Great group of people. Best kitchen redo experience ever! We couldn’t be more happy! Thanks again - Debbie and Steve
The job was completed above my expectations, and Scott stopped by the house a few times a week (even Saturday and Sunday) to work and plan on various items even when we were on hold in permitting. They were very responsive to me the entire time, and helped me plan my other trades around their work (this was my first remodel). Overall, I highly recommend. Thanks!
BCK provides an excellent experience and quality product from start to finish! Construction usually comes with surprises, but this team works diligently through them if/when they arise. I recommend everyone looking for a custom product and the knowledge necessary to achieve your dream kitchen!
So I had been searching everywhere for a vanity for my bathroom. Apparently my home was built with a custom sized vanity. I looked at a few companies but I liked Broward Custom Kitchens due to the styles and quality of matierials highlighted on their website. Well, one month later I am back to enjoying my bathroom with a beautiful custom vanity. The craftsmanship is amazing, the doors are nice and heavy with the soft closing function, it’s fantastic. Now when I go into my bathroom it feels like I am away at the Ritz... I love it and I would definitely recommend Broward Custom Kitchens to anyone who serious about quality custom cabinetry!!! Thank you guys!
What a wonderful experience! Dealing with South Florida contractors is usually fair at best. Broward Custom Kitchens gets it. They completed the work ahead of schedule and under budget. Dawn is a true design genius and her ability to understand what you want is amazing. The entire staff was helpful and skilled. Thanks again guys!
I would recommend Broward Custom Kitchens for your next home makeover. I was looking to get my kitchen redone but really needed design help and ideas. They made the whole process painless from start to finish and really helped me in making my dream kitchen from concept to reality. I couldnt be happier. Thank you so much Dawn, Scott and Joe. Claire
Absolutely love my kitchen! In fact, we loved the kitchen cabinetry so much, we added several other rooms of cabinetry to our custom-built home. Working with Dawn, Scott and Joe could not have been more of a pleasure. I visited the showroom to see the vast array of products they offer, and to be able to take a hands-on approach to how things would look and work in the kitchen. From there, they designed my appliances and the custom cabinetry for my 650 square foot kitchen to work efficiently for me. They took the time to explore how we wanted our kitchen to function and what our work flow is like. With a large family of 6, it was important that the kitchen not only provide functionality but also a warm, inviting space for the many gatherings we host- we got both. In fact, we got it all with the kitchen Dawn designed. After the kitchen, we selected several other built-in cabinets to complement the house decor. I prefer built-ins to furniture, so Dawn designed furniture quality cabinets along the perimeter walls of the kitchen sitting area, an entertainment area in the TV room, cabinets in the laundry room, study and closets throughout the house, in addition to the bathroom cabinetry. All of it is beautiful quality and looks great!I couldnt be happier with the attention to detail. reliability, professionalism, and courteousness of the Broward Kitchen team. If fine quality custom cabinetry is an important element for your home, I highly recommend you visit Broward Kitchens. I know youll love what they can do for your home as much as I do.
NEVER would use this company. Salesman so rude and condescending. I thought I was accurately expressing the fact that due to an underslab leak, it was the opportune time to reconfigure my kitchen. I needed a professional kitchen planner/designer who could look at what I currently have, and advise me as to how I could reconfigure the layout to meet my desired outcome of the remodel. I was told that I needed to come to the warehouse and look at what layouts might be similar to mine. Believe me, that is not going to truly help me - someone needs to be on sight, in my kitchen with its current design and architectural features inherent to the structure of the rooms, then tell me the realistic possibilities. Sorry sir - you could only accuse me of wanting to waste your time!! Its not about the money --- how insulting you were. I live in a million dollar home & seeking someone with a creative vision. You mustnt need the business, lucky you in these times. Worst customer relations Ive run across in a long time. Customers-take your business elsewhere!
I cant believe the quality of service that Broward Custom Kitchens provided for our remodel. Dawn is a visionary who created a kitchen that I never believed would have been possible. Every element, movement and function was thought out ahead of time to ensure our seamless experience. Everything happened on time and although we went a bit over our intended budget, the quality and craftsmanship are priceless. Our kitchen is the focal point in our home and not only functions perfectly for everyones activities but also looks amazing. We looked at several companies and although many of them were cheaper, I realize now you do get what you pay for. We paid for the best and the best is what we got.
They did a great job from demolition through completion. All of the employees were polite and professional. Their installer Brett was outstanding!
Joe and family helped us to remodel our kitchen. The process was easy to follow. We now get to see and enjoy our beautiful kitchen.
We couldnt have selected a better contractor to our kitchen remodel. The quality of products and services provided by BCK are unmatched. The options offered to make a beautiful and functional kitchen were endless. We highly recommend BCK for your home improvement projects.
This is my second time working with BCK. This past summer I renovated my bathroom and I called on them again. Some might think they only do kitchens because it says Broward Custom KITCHENS, but they can do it all, well most everything!!! . When they did my kitchen a few years ago I found out they did bathrooms so I added a custom vanity as well as a standard vanity to my project. They were happy to work with my budget. My experience on both occasions has been very positive. I have sent a few friends to them and they were very happy with their work as well. Highly recommend
I have used Broward Custom Kitchens for a kitchen remodel as well as 2 bathroom renovations. They have great design ideas, quality workmanship, and are extremely professional. I highly recommend them.
My last name isnt featured here for privacy purposes, but our job was managed & executed by Joe the owner. The root of the work was done professionally, as in the toilets work, the sinks work, the shower faucets work. The tile work/and glass work was good, not perfect but good. There is more to the job than that however:Several aspects of the job were unprofessional & I am still experiencing them over a year later on a 30k job. We had a sometimes terrible & definitely more stressful experience than one would want for this type of money. We were also left with some of the finishing touches of the bathrooms missing. Not the most important things, but still parts that you dont want missing. Things that close holes or make the finishing look better, Elements that came with purchases and were discarded or lost. **Responsibility for things put onto the client would be the main problem I had with this experience. There was even a point where the job was stopped because he failed to put painting the walls, into an otherwise complete contract for fully built and fully finished bathrooms. So the job was halted midway. After we pointed out installation were going up on raw wall. There are misalignments between the sinks/lighting due to scheduling workers a bit out of order or a lack of coordination. And in my bathtubs/shower much of the caulk in the lower areas has deteriorated and washed away/peeled off. These little things take away from that 100% satisfaction you would be looking for in a job. Some of the people Joe sent over were great. Some really werent good at all in contrast. There was also some inappropriate general blame and mistreatment in a situation that was basically supposed to be full service and 100% completed within a contract. We were not supposed to be managing our own job, or arranging work, or really doing anything other than picking out colors & materials. My house was also trashed initially in the process, due to a lack of responsible covering of my condo before the drywall work was done. I cried at some point - having my things carelessly inundated with drywall and construction debris all over the entirety of my home - due to zero plastic or floor protection, door blocks or otherwise being used. This may not sound like a big deal, until you are cleaning something that turns into a paste when it gets wet, out of every crevice of your windows, bed, closet, boxes, furniture, and all of your belongings and clothing. It was seriously insane.Google doesnt have space for the full explanation so I had to leave one on better business bureau. Also you will notice that many of the excessively positive and undetailed good reviews here, are from people that have no other reviews on google Also notice the generally very *few* reviews online in general on any other sites .....for a business that has been around for this long. 30 years should be like 100 reviews plus in my humble opinion. I recommend you do your research and definitely reconsider doing any direct work with the owner Joe managing your job. I did briefly speak to his daughter Dawn a little bit, and on a surface level she seemed totally reasonable/normal - but I did not work with her. Ultimately I worked with Joe, who blamed me for mismanagement and mistreated me at points in the process of my job, and to this day there are aspects of my job that were left incomplete, and left in state of simple misconduct.Again, it was a lengthy experience so I proceeded to the better business bureau to try to report it, although I do see there as another complaint there that was removed. The BBB is not something you can subscribe to. Also I worked with Joe, not dawn so I didnt speak to her about my job. She was out for foot surgery during the time we we on our project. Also there is no way to respond to your response on here I believe Dawn although I would. Yes it is a year later, sometime you need a moment to process your experience and what in hindsight one would consider reasonable and otherwise. There should be nothing sinister about that.
They did a fabulous job on my kitchen and I would definitely use them again! Couldn’t be happier.
The owner is nasty and condescending.Would not spend a dime in there.
