Very arrogant staff, know as much as most gun store sales associates need to know but not much past that but talk down to you thinking they know better for working there. Also react like your an inconvenience if you ask to see a gun on the top rack because they have to get a ladder but it’s not your fault the racks are set up that way so you need a ladder.

By far the best gun store I’ve been to. All the staff is friendly and knowledgeable especially Andrew and Anthony who have helped me out the most with a couple of purchases. I came in looking for an AR. In particular, I was curious about an AK. I was shown a few but then an employee brought over his AK which was very well customized. It was a great gun but I also wanted to look at other AR models. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Eventually we were shown some AR-15s which were pretty nice. He suggested a few and I eventually chose one of his suggestions. My brothers and I loved it. He also helped us select a red dot and some other accessories. Love the metal magz it came with as well as the bag. American made and beautiful. Preciate the help fellas! Great customer service from Anthony!

My experience ... I do not recommend it at all. very unpleasant I bought a weapon which I had to wait 5 days for the antecedents which was always in pending status 5 days 10 days 15 and so on for a whole month because I went to ask for the return of the money and 374.77 to pay me They returned 280.00. I mean, I gave him the money. It is unacceptable that these people keep the money for nothing, nor could they answer the questions I had for them. I do not recommend the site at all. At no time have I had any arrest or problems with the law and you have no evidence of what you claim and that is called defamation, from which I will take action on the matter, you will have to prove what you are saying. However, I have the evidence of the impudence and the money that they did not give me.

Purchased two blades from this shop (microtech OTF). One is fine, one is malfunctioning on repeat. I tried to return/exchange two days after purchase, the shop does not offer returns or exchanges. I was told to send back to the manufacture. - I wish I would have bought these online, I would have two working knives and be done. Two stars because at least one of them is fine.

Exceptional Customer Service & Professionalism:I spoke with the store soon after they opened today to make sure the items were available to purchase (firearm, ammo).  Took cues from the gentleman I spoke to as I was on a time constraint today and was hoping to be in and out there asap, Im ultimately glad I followed through with his advice.Everyone lifted their heads, despite all busy to be cordial and say good morning as I entered the store.  The people who helped me facilitate the purchase, conducted my background check, made commensurate recommendations of products that made sense and I bought as well.  And no up / over selling, just bare bones, targeted needs being met.The store was clean and organized, and the service I received, as well as the cost of the quality items I purchased compared to other private, local stores and online pricing left me elated.  As a consumer I dont have an expectation to walk into someones business and beyond fairness and honesty feel I need to be fulfilled, especially during a damn pandemic, and as highly regulated as firearms are.  Their industry is saturated, and at the same time based on the time we live in - so many predator types trying to turn a quick buck with shortages of weapons, ammo, accessories, etc.  Not these folks.  Appreciation & Gratitude to Vitos Only The Best and His Staff.  Im, were blessed to have you operating in our community.  Thank you very much, Paul

A part i was looking for was out of stock online, but when i went in they were able to set me up with something very similar. In one word: arrogant. I have bought several weapons here, a Springfield SAINT AR-15, a Century Arms Micro Draco AK-47 & a Springfield 9mm handgun. I went into the store 3 weeks ago with my brother and inquired about a Glock 19 and a shotgun.....the salesman told me they had a concealed carry class gathering, and to wait at the counter until we were helped. After roughly 20 minutes of waiting, ANOTHER salesman approached us and asked what he could help us with. I informed him that I was looking for a Glock and a shotgun. In a very standoff-ish way he said well we are closing so I cant help you --- when I explained to him that the other gentleman had simply told us to wait he got an attitude with me and raised his voice. I explained that Ive spent thousands of dollars at this store and his bluntly-put response was I have customers that spend $100,000 regularly --- take that for what its worth. They do not care about their customers, they do not care about customer service. Theres no reason to treat people like that - especially when there were probably a dozen employees behind the counter, many of which were talking amongst themselves. I would love to hear the justification for this from the owner of the business.

Im not a review writer, good or bad. I entered OTBs address in my GPS yesterday because I was in a different part of town and wanted quick directions to get there. Later on the page was still open when I had some time and I read through the reviews and I actually did LOL at a few of the bad ones. The guys (every one of them !) in this shop are fantastic. They make you feel at home the minute you walk in and there is never any sales pressure to purchase anything and I never hear them give out bad advice to anyone (been there more times than my wallet wants to remember). Hands down the best gun shop Ive been to in Broward County by far !

Was hunting around for a Glock 19 Gen 5 FS for many weeks during the lockdown and both found what I was looking for and was GENEROUSLY taken care-of. In the weeks prior, I found two other stores carrying the Gen 5 G19 and between the time I called and drove (20-30 mins) to the store, I walked in seeing a lucky person doing paperwork on the gun. I called Only The Best (45 mins from my house) told them my bad luck and after asking if they could put it aside for a few mins Id speed right there. The kind lady said we dont do that which made driving 45 mins a waste of time.After pacing around the house I figured ill just drive. As im pulling out of the driveway, I call the lady and say I know you cant put it aside but can you at least call me if someone comes in to look at it so Ill know to turn around (saving myself from pointlessly driving) and she happily agreed. I drive the 25 miles without a call, walk in, ask to see the G19 and find-out the lady on the phone had KINDLY help put the gun aside for me.Take this review for what you will but considering Only The Best went out of their way to help a first-time customer/gun purchaser is a quick way to earn a lifetime customer. I was looking for a Colt AR 15; looked at a lot of online dealers and every time I asked a question, It would take days to get a answer and sometimes not even that. I found this store 15 min drive from my home and their website showed they had what I wanted. I drove there and found the exact same rifle I had seen in their website. It was fast and easy. The staff is courteous, friendly and helpful. They have all kinds of accessories and ammo. Ive been back for ammo and magazines and will continue to do so.100% recommended

I was referred by a friend because he likes the staff and the time they spend with you. I had a good experience with the staff from ordering to pickup. The gentleman behind the counter was even volunteering since it has been so busy lately. They also had stock in the merchandise they sell. The competitors were cheaper but then had back orders which led me to you guys. i did not mind spending retail on a supported product and a local company with knowledge. i will be coming back to you to take my concealed license classes.

It should be a five star review because they fo have a great selection of firearms and equipment for whatever you need and even a great selection for what you didnt know you needed. Its getting 3 stars because less would be unfair since my issue was mostly out of their control. I say mostly because it had to do with background checks and, had I been given this information up front, I would have thanked them for their honesty and walked away, no harm, no foul. After paying for my purchase and waiting two hours, I was told that there was a backlog and they were still waiting on approvals from the previous business day. I decided that we didnt need to buy anything that bad so, refund it is. Now, the purchase price refund ($800-900) is in limbo until sometime next week because of a holiday weekend and to add insult to injury, it cost me five bucks to waste two hours of my time, since that is the cost of the background check that was never completed. When I voiced my displeasure, all that was said was they were gonna get charged so that charge is passed to me, the customer. So again, it cost me $5 to waste two hours of my time for........NOTHING.Again, my issue is with the fact that this was completely avoidable on the stores end by making this known up front. IF you are able to wait for the background, I would still recommend this store due to their knowledge and selection

From the moment i walked into the store, I was greeted energetically and with the utmost professionalism. I purchased a Glock 19 Agency Arms pistol and was walked through the entire process quickly and efficiently. The sales associate was very thorough and made sure all of my credentials were adequate. He was sure to answer any and all of my questions. I would highly recommend OTB to a first time and even seasoned firearm purchaser.

Went to the store today after seen the sign and it caught my eye. I’d been trying to buy a AR15 or AR style rifle and needing some guidance. A young kid asked me what brand and what exactly I was looking for. I told him an entry level AR or something like that. I wanna know the prices and options. He just showed me 3 rifles and one of them was $1700+. No more info, no guidance, advice or anything. This just pushed me away from becoming a customer. He gave me the impression of being annoyed of taking care of a customer that is not expert or knowledgeable about Rifles.My advice to customer service here is just to remember that all of you, at one point in life, were also beginners with little to no knowledge about guns and with this type of attitude you’re just pushing away potential customers. Not knowing specific brands and Models and parts of guns doesn’t mean I don’t have the money to make a purchase if convinced and guided properly.There is always a potential buyer if you commit yourself and invest effort and time to the questions asked By the customer.Hope next time I’ll have a better experience here. This guy didn’t wanna to sell me anything. There’s always something to sell if you look for the need.

While they have a great selection of firearms and good staff that’s where the good ends. If you like having your firearms shipped with the same care a 3 year old would take to wrap something this is the place for you. When you spend over 5k for a firearm you expect more care and effort in packaging. Next, after “test firing” the firearm before sending it, common courtesy would be to give it a quick once over. However it wasn’t even “test fire” dirty it was filthy. After working for an FFL myself I know these things are simple to do. Very disappointed and was pretty upset at how the owner had almost zero sympathy nor care, gave the excuse that they are slammed with orders which I’d understand with a 1-2k gun you could maybe get away with hastily throwing it in a box and getting it out but over 5k you need to take the extra time to do sh*t right.

My husband and I have been here many times over the years and always had a positive experience. Until Friday. My husband took a friend to introduce him to the store (And both wanted some new toys). Upon entering the store the clerk didn’t even greet them but, instructed them to “Not look around. Don’t touch anything because then I have to sanitize it.” My husband’s friend did pick something up to show him and the sales clerk loudly and rudely told him to “Put that down unless you’re going to buy it! Now see I have to clean it because you touched it” They then left and vowed to not come back after being treated so poorly. Great store but the staff could use some work.

Came in expecting a tiny little hole in the wall, and its surprisingly large and well stocked. Tons of equipment and guns to buy. I came in for some gun lube and left with a holster, some hard to find 7.62x54R rounds, and also some hornadys. The guy at the front seemed knowledgeable and was friendly. I will definitely be back!

I purchased a 1911 10mm from another seller and had the FFL transfer done at OTB. I would have preferred to have bought directly from OTB as they have always treated me well in the past, but this pistol was unavailable from any distributor and production had been shut down in NY due to the virus.Upon receipt of the pistol, long time employee Phil took a look at it. Although it was not his responsibility, he showed concern that the firing pin appeared to be stuck in the forward position, and advised me that chambering a round would likely cause a slam-fire.While I would never chamber a round with the gun pointed in an unsafe direction, Phil certainly saved me, at a minimum, embarrassment at a gun range, and very likely saved me an accidental discharge in my house or vehicle. II simply cannot express how thankful I am for the competent staff at OTB. The issue was an easy fix, but otherwise could have been a dangerous and expensive problem.This is the type of service you get at Only the Best, that you generally can’t get at a big box store. A huge “thank you” to Vito, Vince, Frank, and especially Phil.-TBR

I had an incredibly GREAT experience at Only The Best Firearms in Pompano. I just moved to town this week and paid a visit to all the local firearms dealers in my area. Other dealers werent very helpful/knowledgeable about what I was looking for or how to help me. However at Only The Best Firearms they knew exactly what I was requesting taking me to the isle and helping me pick it out. They also were very helpful if they didnt have the product in stock at even ordering it for me so I can just come pick it up later. This this place was much more up to date and high speed than any other dealers in the area by a land slide! I highly highly recommend paying them a visit!! Keep doing what youre doing guys!

I was referred to Only the Best Firearms & Accessories only to find out that the Management is defiantly not the Best. I went in for the concealed weapons course and applied. A gentleman named Ralph, nice guy, showed me some guns and decided to purchase a new Barretta. I paid in full, but never took possession of the gun. My application came back denied, and have filed a appeal. Ralph was not in on Friday, 2/15/19, and asked that they refund my charge until I get approved. I was told by management that they can only refund 50% of the $445.00 that I spent because of a restocking fee. HOW CAN THERE BE A RESTOCKING FEE IF I NEVER TOOK PROCESSION OF THE GUN. I have since denied the charge with American Express. I would never go back even if they gave me the gun. Bad attitude by owner/manager. Do not recommend this shop.

Well what can I say, these guys know their stuff. My first purchase was a great experience. I do not own a lot of guns, and some store employees can make you feel uncomfortable. I did not get that vibe. A Lady was in the store at the same time as me purchasing her first handgun. She was being helped by another employee. I could tell we both got the individual customer service we both seeked. I went back and purchased several magazines for a lower price than any on line store I could find, didnt have to wait for them to ship and could pick out the ones I thought looked the best from production, all while helping out the little guy and not sending my money on the internet. I am doing my first FFL transfer at their store and I know to expect nothing less than a great experience. Dont bother with this place in difficult times like cv 19. When i went to the store an employee at the door gave me a paper with instructions to go online enter a code and so on. It never worked and when I went back to the store and tried to explain this he just told me to do the same thing over and over and over even though it didnt work. The definition of insanity is to try the same thing over and over expecting a different result so i told them i will go somewhere else, they said ok.

So Ill be honest. First thing I noticed when I walked in was a little Nazi swastika badge and it kind of threw me off. it was part of a World War II exhibit of sorts but as soon as I got past that...... I realize that there is probably five million dollars worth of inventory in this place and Ive never seen so many guns in my life. Specifically an amazing selection of used guns, super expensive 1911s and rifles... they pretty much have every model and every color of every gun ever created for the last 100 years prices are what you would expect out of a store and obviously you can get cheaper prices online but these people definitely seem like they know what theyre talking about.... salesman seemed nice enough and I actually had the opportunity to meet the owner and he seemed like a super cool guy.... this is one of those places that you bring people just to show off. Even Nexus does not compare.....

Great selection. High prices. Sure, they keep things at MSRP, but that translates to not getting a good deal. If you want a good deal, shop online. If you need something today, then theyll probably have it with their wide selection in store.
