Ive been here numerous times. As another reviewer pointed out, this place is for the experienced. Its old, its dingy, it smells funny. The manager will not bother you if he knows that you know what youre doing. Simple. But its not the place to bring your wife or girlfriend...for that go to Gun World. But if you need a spot to shoot some rounds that is usually not busy, then this place works. They allow you to bring your own ammo (no steel core), your own targets, etc. If you can manage that, then this place could be your go to spot if all the other ranges in the area are busy or you just want to pop off a few rounds and be in and out quickly.

Chuck is knowledgeable, helpful and goes of his way to make you know how to handle a weapon properly and is very reasonable

I have been a customer at Revere for over 6 years and I cannot even begin to explain how incredible each and every experience has been for me. I have been to gun ranges all over the country and Revere has been the only place where I truly feel comfortable practicing my 2nd amendment right. I have shot here several times. It is definitely an inexpensive location to shoot at. Highly suggest bringing your own gun and ammo(they never have ammo). Please fix the backstop(cannot shoot 5.56), Fix ventilation, clean up and organize the showroom. Get rid of the trashcans full of brass shell casings downrange. This range was immaculate a number of years ago but has not aged well.

This place is rugged just the way I like it its very affordable the instructor here was amazing the information that he has was incredible I really wish he would do YouTube videos it would help out a lot of people I just qualify for my concealed carry class I found my new favorite gun range heres some pictures

All I did was call and ask if I needed to make an appointment to shoot. The guy who answered the phone asked if I had the guns and ammo I needed to shoot. I said I just needed 40 cal ammo. The employee said he didnt have it. I clarified what he said because his reception was poor. He then popped off with an attitude and decided to mansplain to me about how its not 40 cal but 40 S&W. The man went on a rant. I promptly told him a thank you for his mansplanation and hung up. Took my business to Gun World.I dont know everything about guns, but as a cop of 5 years, Ive learned a thing or two. Probably shouldnt treat someone differently because it sounds like they have a vagina. Thanks.

It’s a place to shoot. If you have your own guns and ammo it’s at least somewhere to fire off some rounds that’s barely more legal than your backyard. Nothing special and the place was a little dirty. Definitely wouldn’t take a date there. Owner was very nice though and made sure we had everything. Wasn’t a huge fan of the excessive amount of shells on the ground in the range. Pretty much just waiting for someone to slip and there be an accident. Overall, I’d go again.

A terrible place with rude guy at the counter. When first walking in, smelled like mold and the bathrooms. 🤢 The range itself had buckets with water and ammo shells all on the floor. Will never go back there.

Im a beginner, today was my first day at a range. I am very happy with my experience. Chuck helped me. I am naturally curious and he spent a considerable amount of time educating me. He even lubricated my new pistol before I used it! Thank you Chuck and Revere!

Stop beating up on the owners because they want to make sure you know how to handle and shoot a gun. That’s a good thing. Now if you want fancy this is not the place for you. If you want simple and safe people around you this is it. Chuck is really a nice guy and I have never had any problems with him. The first time you meet him he will try to determine if you know what your doing so you don’t hurt yourself or someone else. Always willing to help with questions and at 10.50 an hour price is right.

A little hole in the wall for sure! You cannot beat the price. Very inexpensive and the gentleman running the place is extremely helpful and very nice! First time there but I would definitely return due to his service.

If you dont like people breathing down your neck when your shooting, then The Revere Gun Range is the place for you. Its an old school approach with no frills. It is all inclusive. They have guns to rent; targets for sale; ear & eye protection, and great advice for beginners!

Small mom and pop shooting range. Dont be intimidated by Chuck (the owner), he just looks scruffy, but he is really a nice guy. He may question you on gun safety, if you dont act serious or lack safety common sense. If you bring everything (ammo,target, firearm, protection), the place is super cheap around $12.50 per person. Range a bit dirty, ventilation could be improved, but I am not there for the cleanliness. During off peek hours, you may be the only customer there, which feels great.

Great place to go if you want to be left alone and focus on shooting. Very affordable. Yes it smells yes its dirty but do you go for the ambiance or for shooting. I rather shoot here than any other top notch range in Florida. This place is simple and simple is best.

The pictures you see don’t give it justice. As of April 16, 2020, I felt sick just walking into this store. The store looked like the spare room of a disgusting horder. All of the ammo I saw of the shelves looked at least 20 years old. If there’s anywhere in Florida to get COVID-19, this store would be the place. I advise you stay away and spend an extra $10 elsewhere.

Love this place. Local family ran business. Never over crowded. Never wait in line. Reasonable prices and you can bring your own ammo. Very friendly and helpful if you have questions about your weapon.

If you want big a fancy this is not your place. If you want the lowest prices in Broward in a relaxed (but safe) shooting environment look no further. $10 range fee with or without rental. One $10 rental (plus range fee) yes one. You can switch fire arms in that $10 fee. They also let you bring your own brass ammo non steel bulleted ammo. Best bang for your buck in Broward no pun intended!

Great experience without paying the price... Went with my buddy to check out the range. We were greeted at the door by a friendly woman who ran the shop, she was helpful, informative and got us right in the range. The price for range access was extremely fair and the range was nice they kept the lanes clean, nice access to gun rentals as well. Definitely check it out if you want a value based range experience.

Best price! Nice knowledgeable staff will treat you right, they will help you any way they can. This place may not be the newest or the fanciest place in town but it sure beats them in my opinion.

I enjoyed this range. First time I took my 10 year old son to start with his intro to firearm safety. The owner is very welcoming to kids as long as the adult supervising is also firearms proficient. Older building and shop yes, but Im not taking a girl there on a date, I went there to pop rounds. Great prices and cant wait to head back.

Great cheap indoor range. Dont expect any frills, but the prices are rock-bottom and since its a bit of the beaten path in an industrial park, you dont get the bumbling novices that you get at more visible gun ranges who are so clueless about how to properly handle a gun that they might cap you once or twice. Thats always a plus in my book.Revere has been in the same location for 40 years. Theres a reason for that, and the reason is that it is a great range!

I took a beginners class (I have never shot a gun in my life until now). Chuck was a great instructor, to the point, no-nonsense, no flares. Super patient with me because I kept on flinching. By the end, I was more confident, more calm, and I feel I learned a lot. Thank you so much!

New Shooters beware make sure you read up on your shooting safety. owner will quiz you judge you and criticize you prior to allowing you to shoot! Absolutely rude service. If you dont act like some gun nut. The @$$ hole owner will treat you like scum. Definitely was not worth my time with so many places so close by! So ridiculous even with the place totally empty. Do not be expecting anything great if you cant walk the fake talk.

Great prices for the range and the staff is pretty knowledgeable. Not the cleanest place in the area but its a great place to practice and ask questions.Update: this Eric Nelson guy who wrote a one star review is clearly a lefty liberal or a disgruntled neighbor of this gun range. Best service and great friendly staff. Eileen and Chuck make it a pleasure doing business. Have been shooting there since the early 80s. Firearm transfers are always a breeze and free range time with every firearm transfer is a big plus. Plenty of ammo and targets with excellent business hours for anytime shooting. Training and CCW Permit classes available onsite.

Wish i could give 0 stars. any new shooters stay clear...not a good place to learn to shoot or gun safety. i got my cw permit from this place and wish i went elsewhere. last time i was in here guy next to me had a huge duffel bag of no lie 50 guns. he dropped loaded gun and picked it up aiming it towards me. guns were falling off counter bc he had so many. i immediately told owner and nothing was done so i left. i wasnt going to get shot. the place smells of dirty kitty litter and has no air ventilation. in last 2 yrs 2 people of died in this gun range. do yourself a favor GO TO GUN WORLD. pay the extra 10 bucks. it pays for safety.

This range might not be the newest but the staff and price make it worth the drive from Fort Lauderdale. Ammo is priced to sell, especially shot gun shells. Its cool and a throw back in time.

I am a 33yr old woman, I called asking about prices and the youngest age allowed, and instead of answering my questions politely and professionally, he had the nerve to speak to me in a condescending manner, and said it doesnt sound like I have ever shot a gun before because of the questions I was asking. He was sexist pig, I know it was because I was a woman, Women, heaven for bid if you call for prices and ages!! Place was a dump, which I could get over. However the guy at the counter was extremely rude on top of it. Didn’t give him my business and wouldn’t recommend anyone else going there.

When I arrived there only a woman was present. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. The guys were no where to be found so I didnt get to experience the rudeness as described that I read in the reviews. So for that I give a great review. The cats didnt bother me either, I mean if it was a restaurant then it would have been a problem. Just saying.

I know every gun range from hallandale to lake worth. This is my main go to range. For the seasoned shooter looking to just unload a few and feel like as though your shooting some off from home, this is your place. Amazing price, the staff chill and no BS. My little whole in the wall range.

Great price and not a long wait time

Unorganized, cramped, smelled disgusting, and brass casings all over the floor with trash cans overflowing with trash and casings in the range. Prices are equivalent to higher quality establishments. Unless you have nowhere else to go, Id recommend finding a different establishment.

My brother and I went into Revere Gun Range tonight because they were open until nine this evening, a Sunday. Many of the others locally closed at six. Eilene (I hope I spelled that right) was very nice and very helpful. A hole in the wall, perhaps as she described it, compared to many of the more modern ranges but very nice; bare bones but quaint. And the prices are Great! The type of small family shops where they know your name. Revere has been there for ever, decades. They must be doing something right. We will go back.

Read the poor reviews, theyre not exaggerating. Gun shop is dirty, smells likes cats, has cat litter and food when you walk in, and a cat walking on top of the counters. The male, heavyset manger/owner told us that having our hands in our pockets could get us shot in a gun range, felt like we were getting threatened. Then told us a passport was not a valid form of ID in Florida. Very rude, possibly racist. Didnt feel safe there so left. The shop is horrible, management a joke, dont waste your time stopping here.

The best kept local secret, this place is the CHEAPEST paid indoor range Ive ever been to. The owner is always respectful and friendly. The place is what it is, no thrills. A little beat down, its located in an industrial plaza, but it serves its purpose.

After reading the reviews I chose to go shooting on this range. Omg people only care about money. This is the creepiest place I ever visited in my life. Ultra mega dirty. Owner (manager!?) looked like a mechanic and we could find horse seats, a cat sleeping over the counter, everything looked dirty like hell. The range area is like 300 years old. To move the targets you need to turn a crank!!! Please dont waste your time and save your self of seen such a disgusting place.

This is a hole in the wall range in an industrial park... its ancient and well worn, but it s a bargain... they have CCW classes twice a week cheap, range time is cheap, they sell a few guns.... its the equivalent of your corner cheap bar... easygoing .... its a good place to go and save money....

Owner does smell something fierce. i thought it was me for a little while but never like that on my worst day. still theyre friendly and knowledgeable. like stated above its not a new range and dont expect much in the way of guns and ammo to purchase although they do have some. they also have a few glocks and such to rent for range shooting as well as goggles, ear muffs and targets. CCW classes monday or wed from 6-9 i believe. instructor makes the class easy and as short as legally possible. just sit across from instructor bc hes the smelly owner. (no offense if youre reading this owner guy). extremely helpful individuals. its where i shoot at least once a week
