DO NOT EVER BUY A CAR FROM THEM! My son single dad works hard for what they have. Decided to buy a car. He hasnt even made the first payment and it needs a $500 repair! He wasnt asking them to do a free repair just cut the labor cost. He was told they did give him a deal got it in and gave you a loaner for for ahour. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!! WE WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE! VERY POOR BUSINESS ETHICS. BUYER BEWARE!

We were traveling across Missouri to meet up with family when my 2020 Silverado began to act up-several warning lights and reduced engine power message, about 25 miles from Poplar Bluff. We limped into town and found a motel for the night, praying the dealership would be open on Columbus day. The dealership was open and they were able to squeeze us into the morning schedule and get us back on the road before noon...vacation saved. We appreciate all of you who gave a little extra to keep us on the road...thanks just isnt enough. Dale and Teresa Land

I was approved to buy this 2017 impala from the dealership they got my payoff amount which is less than I told them but my car has a gps tracker on it it’s simple just remove it and I take it back but seems neither the sales manager has a education at all I gave them a 1 star can’t give a 0 so one it is just remove the gps and sale your car but they don’t like to sale cars if I was Chevy I’ll closed them down

Just bought a lightly used Tahoe from them and the process was perfect. I found the vehicle listed online and the listing was completely accurate to the actual condition of the vehicle. Our salesman, Trevor made the whole process nice and easy. Well worth our hour and a half drive one way to make this purchase. When we are ready for another vehicle in the future I will for sure be checking with them.

Service guys that change oil doesnt seem to take care of customer vehicles. Leaves oil in skid plate area and oil filter that seem to drip and think there is a leak. Please clean up to eliminate suspicion and take pride in the work that is done. Also wipe oil off the exterior of vehicles. The issue was resolved. Wish they could figure out why the truck has a vibration at 60 to 70 mph.

I replaced a recall part which was for the airbag, but they broke the dash when they put it in or took it out and never said nothing I didnt notice it so I was almost home. They should have fixed what they broke cuz it wasnt broke before they mess with it

Came in because of my stabilitrack light going off. Was told it was a busted hub. So they replaced the hub for 480 and the issue was unresolved. Also a note: I’ve never had an issue with this dealership before and will still get services there. But this one experience has made me question their expertise.

If I could give 0 probably do that. Nobody in the service department is even updating us on our vehicle, we brought it in on the 5/25 transmission ! I suppose no hurry there, not like they are 40 miles out of town no vehicle and a farm to run! Who cares is the chevy attitude!Finding chevy dont last and dealing with any dealership is not any better!Probally never do chevy again !(also edit... they didnt fix it right a 1000 miles away and its being fix! Drifshaft cord put back wrong)

Took my truck in because my transmission started shaking when I drove it. I figured I would drop it off and it would take them a few days to fix it like most dealerships do. I got there at 8am to drop it off and by 10:30am they had it fixed! Baldwin Chevrolet is the only place I will buy a vehicle from now on. They have my business for life. No hassle and super friendly staff. They know what they are doing at this dealership and others should take notes.

I’ve done a lot of business with this dealership, but I will never buy a car from here again. I feel like I was lied to from the beginning when I was told the used car I bought would be perfect for my new driver. I’ve had nothing but problems since the beginning and it wasn’t fixed correctly the first time. And after taking it several times to the shop and they finally figure out what is going on they want to charge me $1600.00 after what I have already paid to begin with. I sadly will not recommend Baldwin to anyone else. We currently have 4 cars from Baldwin, but will take our business elsewhere in the future.

I basically bought a used vehicle over the phone from Baldwin Chevrolet, which they had listed at a good price on the internet. The salesman, Steve Dennis, was very professional and was not pushy. He also quoted me a decent trade in price over the phone. He examined the car carefully before I drove 3 hours to get the car. I went out on a limb to buy the car over the phone like this. It required me to drive 3 hours there with fears there might be issues with the purchase vehicle or my trade in quote or the price I had been given over the phone. It worked out great. Really the only good people there is the three in Service, the three in parts, and some of the mechanics and some in the body shop. Kenny, John, and Andy are the only salesmen that Id recommend. Cant complain about customer service (salesman wise) but management is lazy

I needed a new battery. The parts department found the part I needed and coordinated with service so I could have it installed within minutes. I had self installed a battery in another car just few days prior that I had obtained at a local parts store. Letting someone else do the work for about the same price was a no-brainer. Nice comfortable waiting area and polite prompt service.

Used them since the 90s. This is the ONLY dealership I trust in MO for service. Body shop is also excellent. We own a Silverado and a Jeep. Love our Jeep, but Jeep dealerships in MO are VERY POOR. Baldwin does as great job servicing our Jeep as with our GMs.

On Sunday, 9/18/16, left my home in Johnson City, Tn in my 2015 Cadillac SRX planning to drive 550 miles to Poplar Bluff, Mo. Just west of Knoxville, Tn I encountered torrential rain. The car suddenly almost came to a screeching halt on I 40. A read out came on saying the stability sensor had reduced acceleration to 24 MPH. I called OnStar and their diagnostic confirmed the danger of driving the car further. On Star sent for roadside assistance. I turned the car off meanwhile. On restarting it, the warning was off. I drove the car on a frontage road for a few miles, seemed fine and proceeded west on I 40. I spent the night in Nashville not wanting to be on the interstate after dark in view of the uncertainties with the car. On Monday (9/19) upon arrival to Poplar Bluff and attempting to make a left turn on a four lane the stability warning came on again. The car completely stalled perpendicular to fast moving traffic. By a fraction, I missed being broadsided. I called Baldwin Cadillac for the car to be picked up. Two very courteous gentlemen responded quickly. Wednesday (9/21) I called for a status report on the car and was told I could pick it up because it had dried out. Asking for such an explanation, the near death experiences I incurred twice was due to parts of the computer getting wet. So now I have to check the weather report before I drive the car? Was such an absurd answer due to my being a woman? I told the spokesperson I would not drive the car a single mile because it was/is a potential death trap. Needing to get back to Tn., I called back Thursday (9/22), and was told the car was being sent to Baldwin GMC because Baldwin had no available technicians, I had just come at a bad time. Shirley Tibbs, a very nice service writer there (GMC) called to say they had no information on the car and needed to know why the car was sent from Baldwin Cadillac to Baldwin GMC. Interesting I was the contact person for information. Talked with Corey, service manager at Baldwin GMC on Friday (9/23) to inquire about the car. He said he knew nothing about it but I could come pick it up. Really now!! He said he would check on the car and call me back in 20 minutes--no call. I can only describe Corey as politely as I can and that is extremely dismissive, rude, and arrogant. Called back Monday (9/26) to check on the car and learned it was back at Baldwin Cadillac. They just then checking the wires when I called according to Roger, shop foreman. Anticipating nothing but more unprofessional dealings there, I made contact with our dealer in Johnson City of over 30 years and he suggested they come pick up my car--1,100 miles for them but they value our friendship and customer loyalty. Roger (Baldwin Cadillac) said they had not had time to fix the car and I came without an appointment. So for the Baldwin dealerships, if you chose to have anything but routine service there, I hope you can predict when your car will break down and make an appointment well in advance! Truly, the most exasperating experience over the eight days I have ever had. I rate them far less than one star and at best can only say they have the worst customer relations possible and are very unscrupulous.
