So I read the reviews and I am glad I am not the only one with this opinion. The “gentleman“ in the show room is as rude as I have ever seen anyone be to what could be a potential customer. He absolutely treated me like I was without the means to purchase anything and he just basically made me feel inferior. I fully intend to replace my windows with Impact Rated from PGT. I have other estimates but my neighbor told me to check this company out. His name was John and he may or may not be the same man referenced before. AVOID at all cost. I didn’t get the chance to even talk and I find it hard to believe they allow him to talk to people. So I WILL NOT be dealing with him. My neighbor said to go to Punta Gorda because “that group cares” - care enough to replace John and you’d be doing yourself a favor. One star because no lower option.

They have done other jobs for us, now we are getting windows for the house! Great service couldnt ask for more!

I ordered a door in early May. 4-6 weeks for delivery they said. After 8 weeks I called. They put me in touch with James. He said not until middle of July. No explanation. I asked and he just repeated middle of July.I called several times after that to get an update but James was busy and would call me back. Of course he never didNow it’s the middle of July. I called and again was told I have to talk with James. I said no I want someone who could help me. I spoke with John who told me it ships to them on July 15th. He explained it was because the manufacturers were shut down. Why couldn’t someone tell me that? Of course I would have understoodI am giving two because the saleswoman was great. After the sale forget customer service.I’ll let you know when I actually get my door

We had a screen enclosure for the front door. Very professional and excellent work, we are very pleased with John the installer. We did wait 3 months because they were behind, but I would highly recommend them for front door screen enclosure.

The shutters they took 4 months to install on my linai lasted only 2 years. The material is weak, flimsy and cheap. I paid a lot of money for these and one came crashing down. Now I have been put on their busy schedule again. They are always months behind. Dont use this company!

Very professional company. Put glass in my front door and they did a fantastic job. They saved me money by putting glass into my original front door instead of making me buy a new one for no reason. The job was done quickly and professionally. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing to prepare for a hurricane or wanting to improve or fix a door.

After driving an hour to the Port Charlotte location, the salesman welcomed us to the store with a phrase you need to go to a cheaper place, we will be too expensive for you, without even questioning how many windows and doors we are looking for and what type. He said Im doing you a favor by not giving you a price. So much for customer service...

They dont deserve one star, James their manager is unprofessional in keeping his word with appointments. He also has an attitude problem. The owner Ed is a dead beat owner . My windows which they installed are not keeping out the water from the rain and my house is flooded. They just dont care to follow up or keep their word. BBB here I come. I suggest you do the same. They hate the BBB.

I ordered screen doors for my garage here. They are very reasonably priced and very helpful at the shop!

I like Active Door and Window. They are experienced and knowledgeable about PGT products. I would recommend them for windows and doors.

Cant be bothered to call back for customers wanting windows and shutters. Called on Monday, May 14th for quotes on windows and shutters. I was told someone would call me back. Called back on the 15th to see when I would get a call back. The man on the phone was rude and said by the end of the week. It is now the 18th and no one has bothered to call me back. I know this company was falsely rated as the BEST in SW Florida. They will be at the Hurricane Expo on May 19th. Poor customer service, rude, and obviously cant be bothered with customers calling for quotes. Sad

I like to support my community by hiring a company in town. This idea failed miserably when I began to discuss business with them.They are lacking in social skills and professional service .

The salesman was rude and univiting even said to the lady up front waste of time he seemed more like a used car salesman then a upscale door and window guy!

I’m in a dispute with them at the BBB . Windows leaking and they damaged my good windows when they put in screens ! What a joke . Deadbeat owner Ed can’t seem to get it together . Don’t use these people, they are very unprofessional!

Poor measuring skills for installation . Bad attitudes from staff and workers . Incredibly slow service . Very poor quality service in all aspects .I will never use them again . I highly advice you find another company to meet your needs . Thank you

Installed doors and windows called for service since one of the doors keeps jamming up. Lady receptionist Adriana said she will give it to service. No idea if someone will call back today tomorrow next week or month. When asked of the service managers contact she said he can’t be reached? Spent over a 100 k.A phone answering machine would of been more competent than this representatives rude arrogant demeanor. Customer service?
