We generally go to Port Huron a few times a year. This is definitely a must stop on our trips. I love the assortment of goods at this store, from clothing to housewares to gourmet foods to jewelry to to art to gifts. Thank you to the owner, Jennifer, for the temptations you offer!
I always make it a point to stop in at the Port Huron and the Lexington Michigan stores as WEEKENDS always has something amazing that I cant live without. The staff is incredibly friendly and always helpful with suggesting a unique perfect gift for All Occasions. Their locations near the water is just an added Plus.
This is such a cool shop! I like to stop in to browse sometimes just because its so aesthetically pleasing. They have a lot of household items, especially unique and fun items for the kitchen. This is a great place to find a gift for a newlywed or housewarming. They also have a case of fresh bread and locally produced dairy products like milk, cream, and cheese. The owners and staff are helpful and kind. Basically, this is exactly the kind of shop you hope to stumble upon in a downtown area.
Weekends is one of the most interesting and nicest stores in Port Huron (with a smaller store open seasonally in Lexington). The owners have surveyed the categories of merchandise offered elsewhere in the area and filled in many of the gaps: useful and attractive kitchen gadgets; upscale baby items; home and seasonal decorative objects, Michigan-made where possible; a curated selection of food items for a simple dinner or for entertaining, including bread, cheeses and cookies shipped six days a week from Zingerman’s in Ann Arbor. And saving my favorite for last: gorgeous American-made cotton sweaters and tops that wear beautifully and can go in the clothes washer. Note to Brittany, who commented below: That wasn’t stalking. That was someone waiting on you. That was what service used to look like in nice retail stores. This kind of service is rarely found these days, but it’s part of the wonderful experience of shopping at Weekends.
I love the store and visit frequently. Staff very helpful and personable. Excellent service. Samples of products recommend a visit.
I love this store. Its also my go to place for gift baskets. They do a great job.
This is a great little gift shop and a refreshing break from the rest of the stores in the area. If youre looking for a unique, high quality gift or local treats, bread and eggs, stop here first. Yes, the prices are higher, but you get what you pay for.
Superb, as always. Love Lee and Jennifer 💕
Allways cool stuff! Best place to get presents around town!
Would have enjoyed this little shop if everything in the store wasnt crazy overpriced and the woman working didnt stalk my friends and I and make us feel uncomfortable and try to push us out of the store the entire time. I definitely will NOT be back. I dont appreciate how she purposely made us feel.
Love but needed alot more about inventory
Really great and unusual items.
Bought a set of spatulas one year ago and the rubber is literally breaking apart and cracking. They are only used for baking. These are the ones that have the little stub thing that keeps it off the counter and holds it up. I have 6 year old Walmart ones that still look new and used all the time. Very disappointed.
Pretty neat stuff!
Parked in the street to go to the coffee shop next door, and the owner came in and demanded we move our vehicle to make room for her event she was hosting, complained for several minutes to staff and customers, and then asked for ice for her champagne at her event. Rude, obtrusive, shrill woman.
Classy place
Nice stuff
Hours are 10-6pm.
Staff was very rude.
