Rafaela was absolutely fantastic! My 7yo daughter needed her first pair of glasses and was extremely apprehensive about it. I sold her on the idea that she would get to choose whatever she wanted, which turned out to be “mermaid glasses.” Three stores later… Rafaela made her feel like an absolute queen and went through dozens of pairs until she found the perfect “mermaid” glasses in both style and fit. My daughter couldn’t wait for them to be ready for pick up. We just got them on Friday. Thankfully the fabulous Rafaela was working again so she could answer all of my girl’s questions and encourage her further. I don’t have words for how much I appreciate Rafaela’s attention to detail, positive attitude, and willingness to go the extra mile. I needed new glasses and dreaded the process. Rafaela listened to my needs and style and then she picked about 20 glasses that may work. She was helpful in narrowing them down to one perfect pair. In addition, I had insurance that had various offers and coupons and Rafaela worked all the angles to get me the best price and quality.Rafaela was knowledgeable not just about her inventory but also all the complicated insurance offers. I recently purchased a pair frames from another competitive optical store. To my dismay I could not see out of my new glasses. After being unhappy with the response I received from that Optical store I decided to go to Visionworks. Which was the best decision, I explained my situation the sales person she immediately knew how to correct the problem. Both salesperson and manager were genuinely concerned about how they could help correct my situation. I highly recommend Visionworks in Port Orange. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Karen and Robin both went above and beyond to help me. They both went out of their way to help my daughter. My daughter had previously picked several pairs of glasses and they searched the store and found them. They were very quick to get everything that was needed. We have been a customer for over 5 years now. They exemplify how customer service should be! Dont let these two leave! They are both very friendly and listen to what their customers ask them.

From one of the best to one of the worst. The doctor is disrespectful, and even got a prescription completely wrong.Then when sunglass lenses come back significantly lighter than the previous set, the employee didnt care, and even said they shouldnt be obligated to inform you that its not going to be as dark.Im just glad my insurance covers my old favorite eyeglass place again. Definitely will not return.

I must say that my experience with Visionworks was one of the best that I have every had when buying glasses. The Staff took our temperature and provided hand cleanser. They asked what type of glasses we were looking for and worked with us to narrow down the choices - good and bad points for each model. As each pair of finished glasses was completed, they called me in for fitting. Trish spent a lot of time with me on each visit making sure that the glasses fit perfectly and would not fall off while i was sweating. On our final visit, with the store full of year end buyers, the Manager jumped in and made a couple of final adjustments ensuring that I would not have any future problems. I am extremely happy as these glasses as they fit so much better than Ive had for a long time. The time and attention spent by the staff at Visionworks (Trish and the Manager) is the reason. Great place to shop!!!

Same issues many of the others have previously posted. Booked an appt online only to show up and that was supposed to be blocked out. Not even an apology for the inconvenience. Get your scheduling system worked out. A three year old could do it. They turned away one before and after me as well. What a well oiled business they run. 🙄

Save your time. Make a appointment online only to walk in and the unprofessional doctor refusing to see me. I ask for a manager to be told the Doctor makes her own rules. Good to know VisionWorks allows rude Doctors to work in their building. I will take myself and family members elsewhere, where we will be treated fairly. VisionWorks lost our business.

A horrible experience. Karen, the store manager, insisted that I buy THREE pairs of glasses due to the fact that my Humana Gold plan has thecoverage. She is an intimidating person which caused me to leave the store and I will probably never return.

Trish met me when I arrived, checked my temperature and gave me hand sanitizer. She listened to what I wanted and helped me choose frames. All frames I tried were put into a small basket she sanitized for me. They were to be sanitized before being put back in the racks. Class act.I ended up purchasing regular glasses and sunglasses; two for one. No pressure. After receiving them I returned for fitting and spent about 15 minutes so that they were done right.Great experience.

I was extremely impressed with the level of professionalism and the manner in which all the employees went above and beyond for the safety of clients, as well as themselves. Everyone was greeted as they came in, if they didnt have a mask were given one. Everyone then was offered hand sanitizers. What was amazing to me was being given protective gloves. All glass frames that are touched by prospective purchasers and rejected are placed in a special basket and resanitized before perusal by clients. There was a good selection of frames, and I took advantage of the buy one get one free package. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Visionworks in Port Orange to anyone who was looking for a new pair of glasses.

I got an exam and glasses here, when I went in they took my temperature, masks, and gloves and any frame I try on was sanitized before, and all associates were wearing the same. The exam was fast and the dr showed pictures of my eye. Never had that done before....I will say they are extremely busy but Robin and is worth the wait. She’s helped me and knows her stuff. My glasses were exactly what I wanted.

I drove passed other vision stores (45 minutes out of my way at a friend’s recommendation) to go to the PO Vision works for my contacts. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of care that they provided in regards to Covid precautions. Even though they were extremely busy, the customer care and safety precautions they took were well worth the wait.

I took my mom here and I must say the entire staff and especially Eva was absolutely wonderful. She has a great attitude and personality. She was so helpful and patient and funny. The eye doctor was very thorough and professional. The visionworks staff were a nightmare with the exception of Sheryl. Sheryl was friendly, kind and helpful. Robin was so loud and obnoxious that the whole building could hear her customers PHI and it was trulyObnoxious. They seemed horrendously unorganized and I’m torn with the rating - I’d give the store a 1 star if it didn’t affect the eye doctor and I’d give her 4.5 star on her professionalism and quality of money spent. She lacked any type of conversation/ personality and was all business and that’s the only default of her receiving 5 stars. This particular location lacked any type of variety when it came to glasses selection as well. I do not believe I’ll be returning, which is a shame because I’ve been with visinworks for many years.

I have called this location multiple times during there open hours to schedule an appointment NO ONE answered the phone, I didnt even get a can you please hold. I was calling because I received a flyer in the mail about some promotions they have going on trying to give them my business. Welp this is one customer they lost which Im pretty sure my loss contribution wont hurt there business. Had an appointment on Christmas Day scheduled and confirmed via email with Elizabeth Lee the optometrist. After driving over and hour to this appointment on Christmas Day- the staff informed me that the “Doctor left for today and already had her last appointment at 2pm.” The Suncoast Eyecare staff also stated “there’s no way you had that appointment, the schedule is blocked off”. After I showed them the confirmation email from the week prior, they still would not honor my appointment. I asked “if the doctor just left because her last appointment was at 2pm, can’t you call her back in?” It was 1:50 when I arrived early to my 2:30 appointment. Apparently the Optometrists are independent contractors and they have no obligation to honor my appointment :)Won’t be coming back to this location or the doctor. Staff states that there may be issues with their scheduling system - that should be fixed ASAP to avoid inconveniencing people in the future. They stated that they could put me on a cancellation list- no thank you! Terrible experience here.From the woman that yelled across the store “I HAVE TO TAKE YOUR TEMPERATURE!!” [Rudely] ... to the female at the desk talking to a costumer about her how friends/family members were getting ARRESTED or sent to Jail ..... (really unprofessional to talk about at work....) - I should’ve known that this would be a bad experience! I was extremely frustrated for the terrible costumer service on a HOLIDAY ... and rude back when the woman who took my temperature basically told me to kick rocks- and when the female at the desk acted like I was lying when I informed her of my appointment and said “THE DOCTOR IS GONE” and rolling her eyes.None of this appointment shenanigans is seemingly the fault of the staff- but if this company is going to have online scheduling and be open on Holidays then they should ensure that their scheduling systems work.... very poor experience I will not be returning ever!!So- now that I couldn’t have my appointment I get to throw my vision benefits from my employer in the trash!!! Got my eye exam and glasses ordered today. I must say that Dr. Criscio was great and easy to work with. I definitely enjoyed my visit with him today. And will return to him when it’s time for my next exam. The rest of the staff was very polite and professional, and help me decide on what I would like to purchase. And the show room was very nice as well.

Dr and his staff is awesome especially Carmen. The glasses side on the other hand not so good. Someone let in an older lady with a fever. I mean whats the point of taking temps if youll ket someone in with over a 101 temp. I had to go back to the dr side to protect my children. Terrible! She is also loud and obnoxious!!! Update...manager called me and assured me she will be speaking to staff about safety. Very helpful.

I got my glasses there. Spent over $500. Tried to get my wife her eyes looked at and the form of payment I had they dont use for eye exams. But I can if I am buying glasses. This doesnt make any sense. So we canceled. Also both times the receptionist for the Dr has no customer service skills. The eye Dr is great. But receptionst is rude and has no people skills. I sure wounldnt want her as my Director of First Impressions. Oct 1st 11 am 2020. Time to look for some where to go.

Words cannot explain what Robin did for me and my lil 4 year old baby boy...It is his first pair and as a family who has no idea about glasses and how they work she surely made it a much easier process. she made it so easy for us to find the best cheapest glasses. She even went above and beyond to send the glasses to another store so that I could get them even faster. Robin is someone who takes the time out of their day when she doesn’t even have the time. My husband and I ordered glasses from there right before the holidays. My husbands glasses were fine but mine were not right. I returned several times only to be told that the glasses just needed to be adjusted and it would take a while to get used to progressive lenses. After several trips and several adjustments later, I decided to have the lenses changed to just reading glasses. The staff said it wasnt a problem. Later that day I received a call from the manager telling me that it had been too long since I had purchased them to change the lenses, but I could purchase new ones and that they had a sale going on. I learned the hard way that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. No more sales from them. Ill go to a reputable shop for my glasses. No more sales for me.

We have been Visionworks customers for many years. This last experience at the Pavilion has been the worst experience. Not very accomadating at all. The girls answering the phones are unorganized, put me on hold and told me to call back. Couldnt get an appointment for 8 weeks and had to go elsewhere to get the exam. Then went back to order the glasses. I get a call a half hour before they close on a saturday that our glasses are ready and cant go in to get them. They can not schedule us to pick them up unless we take off work to get them because they stop letting you come pick them up at 4:00. Horrible experience. Bring Jodi back.

The staff there is awesome! Amanda fixed my glasses that had a missing screw. The screw was unusually small and short. Other stores told me they did not have the screw, Amanda went the extra mile to find the right one. They had great smiles, interesting conversation, and great service. Thanks ladies!

All stores, We dont carry that in store etc etc. Called Pavilion Visionworks and they offered to order the pair I wanted, then ordered an additional ONeil pair after trying on the first pair. One of the employees sat me down and kept promising to help me but kept walking away to answer phone calls. My toddler started to cry because I had been there a full hour and she still hadnt started the ordering process. They gave me inaccurate pricing and it steadily went up the longer I was there. I heard her tell a customer on the phone that they either come in today at 12:30pm or she has no openings for weeks. Thats rediculous because I was a walk in. As I left, she told me shed call me to pay over the phone. I hadnt even had the pair adjusted yet. I will not go back and would advise parents with kids not to waste their time.

Severely understaffed and very unprofessional. I’m a provider myself and I work retails so I understand what being understaffed means, thus I was extremely patient. My appointment turned out to be 3 hours long and I went home empty handed because they couldn’t figure out what are my coverages for lenses. I tried out their trials and called back a week later to finalize my order. I was told one of the brands I was trying out is covered under my insurance, and they’ll go ahead and ordered me 3 months supply. A month later, I haven’t heard any updates. Called the office at least 5 times but always getting busy signals. So finally, I stopped back by on my day off to ask for updates. Turned out no one knows about my order or what’s going on. Spent 45 mins there talking to two different staff members, was told different things, and no one could help me. I ended up going home empty handed again. As a provider and someone who has been wearing contact lenses for years, this has been the worst experience ever.

I needed to make appointments for not only myself but my family and was told the Dr side was closed to go online or call back Monday morning. I will never be back to this location ever again. I emphasize care because thats a big part of the buying process when one depends on their glasses and is facing so many variables and options. Jodi asked me about my lifestyle, work and the circumstances in which I wear my glasses. She guided me toward the frames and lenses that were right for me, not necessarily the most expensive. This was my familys first time coming into visionworks and as soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by the employees, the exams were great Dr. C was great very insightful and helpful with any and all questions to his knowledge, the Staff were very helpful with my children and I when it came to the glasses frames and the trying to see which ones it right and looked right on our faces. After 2 unremarkable experiences, glasses I could not read from.....I came in here as a hopeful resort to solve my problems. The exam from Dr. Knuckles was excellent apparently because when I picked up my progressive glasses they were perfect! Excellent service from the manager as well. She did the actual check on my lenses for fit, and where to line them up and was very thorough. I also bought a pair of progressive sunglasses and they too are excellent! I am a happy customer—Give them a shot!

My husband & I stopped in to take his Ray Ban sunglasses in to have new right & left arms put on. We had ordered those parts ourselves & had just received in the mail from Italy. The two ladies at front desk were very helpful. Sorry, I did not get their names. She fixed them while we waited, which was only about 5 minutes or so. I asked what the charge was when completed & she said no charge. Very good customer service. We left very happy & my husband was very happy to have his Ray Bans to wear again. We will be back to get our eye exams done there. Thank you.😎

Excellent, prompt and friendly care from Sheryl at this location. She spent over an hour with me helping me pick out frames. Everyone in there was very friendly and welcoming to customers. She knew every frame in there and brought them to me of my style preference. They did not use the insurance that I had but their prices were great and I saved more with their 40% off than I would have with my insurance benefits!!! Very happy and will look forward to a return visit!

I am so grateful to Robin and the team at Visionworks in Port Orange. I have a very strong prescription, and was rendered handicapped when the ocean ate my glasses. We are here vacationing from Wisconsin. I felt sure my trip was ruined. I couldn’t see anything. One call to Robin at Visionworks and my problems were solved. They had me in a pair of glasses for my distance prescription in less than an hour!! They saved me and my vacation. And the price was very reasonable. They were kind and considerate. Robin is a treasure, she was very patient with me during the sales process. Also Jeanette was super helpful after the fact in getting my glasses adjusted. They fit perfectly! Also the Optometrist and assistant were super helpful. Ive never had contacts and they were very understanding and answered all my questions.

I went to several places to look for a new pair of glasses. Visionworks was the final stop and I am so happy I went here! I actually ended up getting two pairs of glasses because they had a BOGO deal going on! My frames are so stylish and the staff is amazing! Eva was new but she was really great with describing things and chooses the best frames for me! The manager is fantastic, very knowledgable. I love this store, I will definitely be a long-term customer. Thank you everyone at Visionworks for the awesome experience!!

I had a great experience there today. I’m traveling from out of town and Jody was incredibly helpful with a problem I had with my contact lenses. She went above and beyond to help me track down what I needed on short notice. Very under-staffed, be prepared for an extremely long wait. Only one woman behind the counter working. Operate on walk-ins, first come, first serve basis. Person came out from back room but never acknowledged customers that were waiting or offered to help woman behind counter. Poor customer service. Sales are very misleading once you get down to the nitty gritty. I used to only shop at this store for my prescription glasses, but things are not nearly what they used to be a couple of years ago when there were many people available to help you.

Went in to pick up my daughters contacts and brought in the prescription for her eyeglasses. Manager personally called my daughters eye doctor and got her contact prescription and we walked out with her contacts the same day. EXCELLENT customer service!

Cudos to Jodi Butler. We are driving from South Florida to Vermont and my eyeglass lens popped out of the frame this morning. Stopped at Visionworks in Port Orange, FL. and Jodi fixed everything for me. She took time to replace nose cushions and thoroughly clean my glasses, and then cleaned my wifes glasses as well. She refused to charge for her service.Service like this is wonderful and we will switch to Visionworks for our eye glasses going forward.Thanks Jodi.

Dr. Peterson and the folks at Visionworks were amazing. I was on vacation with my family for my sons 4yr birthday when my glasses were knocked off in the ocean. They were able to get me in with an exam and provide me with a set of trial lenses with no hassles in just a little over 1hr. I am so thankful that this was just a minor inconvenience during a great family vacation.

I have stopped by this place multiple times to have my glasses adjusted. It took an hour and a half the first time just to get them adjusted. The second and third times were just as irritating. Each time they adjusted them they were left crooked and just seemed off. The third time took about 35 minutes with no result. I had to leave my glasses there for the head lab tech to try and fix. After the place called me back saying my glasses were ready, I went to pick them up and when I said I was there to pick them up, the lady had a very hard time trying to find them (a.k.a. apparently some glasses dont go in the drawer with all of the other glasses.... work that one out... O_o). Oh yeah, I also had to wait 35 minutes until finally I just couldnt stand waiting any longer and told them I was there to pick up a pair of glasses that I already owned. I told them that I didnt need to cash out or anything and that it should just be a matter of reaching into a drawer and handing them to me. Once they finally found them, the head lab tech apparently glued the wire in place and now theres a sharp piece where the nose pad is that cuts me every time I put them on (still crooked also....) All of this being said, DO NOT GO HERE. I would rather pay a bit more money and get better service than this place. The people who work here are incompetent and charge an arm and a leg for something that really isnt all that great. I have definitely regretted purchasing my glasses from this shop and you will to if you purchase yours here.

The drs office is great, but unfortunately the frames are not stainless steel as visionworks claim, and the workmanship is shoddy. See the dr then take your script elsewhwere

Not good.Went in for the 1st time asked if they carried my insurance and they do. I asked them to tighten my glasses ?? no problem. I left and got home and they are the same. Crazy thing is I call back and explain then I get the craZy response....I’m sure she tightened it ?? What ?? No eye exam there ! Scary.

Literally awful. Went in there to buy prescription glasses and sunglasses. The salesman was rude and just a weird guy with me. When I sat down to pay, I asked what I was about to pay 400$ for exactly. He told me I couldn’t know until after I paid. I refused. He then told me what I was paying for after I went down the list of things one by one I could possibly be paying for. I learned he had added all these additional coatings and warranty without asking me. Things I clearly did not want or need. I regret going in there. Also, heads up, they keep on deleting their negative reviews on google maps. They actually have way more negative reviews than you can see.
