My grandson was spending the night. We needed lunch meat for his lunch. We got to the store around 7:45 PM. Went to the deli, lights in the cases were on. 3 people back the each one made direct eye contact, but never said a word to me. I finally asked if they were closed and said yes. How rude. One of them could of told me the closed at what wver time they closed the deli

Most disgusting meat section lately. Mold growing on the smoked turkey necks, green and off brown expired meats. I bought a pork roast once and when I get home and open it, the smell was that of a rotting carcass roadkill. Milk was 2 weeks off date. Fish I had to bring back because of the slime and decomposing stench. More like a supermarket for vultures and hyenas.

I love this Winn-Dixie! I always save so much money here compared to other grocery chains (with the possible exception being Walmart when I buy all their generic brand stuff) and the quality is always great! The workers are always pleasant to me, and it’s always nice and clean there. I also have to rave about the Winn-Dixie app. It’s literally my favorite store-related app bc it’s easy to use, and I love all the coupons and the bonus points! I even get freebies sometimes like a free roll of SE Grocer’s paper towels and I think juice or soda one time. I have two little kids who are super picky eaters, and I get the most bang for my buck AND quality of food from Winn-Dixie! I literally tell my friends and family about it all the time because I love it so much lol

Gosh I hate to rain on the parade of mostly positive comments here but on this occasion Winn-Dixie is missing their nearly unblemished customer service rating. To begin with the fried chicken (my primary purpose for shopping there today) was according to the deli clerk, freshly out of the fryer. In reality it was more like cold left over chicken which had been re-plunged into the fryer to be reheated. It was barely tepid, drippings with oil and soggy. The chichen was not up to my expectations or consistent with your nearly unblemished customer service rating.That said, I have not gotten to my primary reason for writing this review. When entering the store today we couldnt help but notice that we were among the minority of only a few (mostly seniors) who were wearing surgical masks. Sadly the trend at Winn-Dixie is to ignore the current pandemic all together as no W-D employees wore masks. Frankly the atmosphere there made us feel like we must look like were infected rather than trying to assure others safety by wearing our masks. It is so nice to feel that we are in a pristine environment which requires no safety measures. But that simply is not the case here as restrictions are being eliminated for the good of getting back to business. The virus continues to infect as many as ever and the death rate from infection is as great as ever. We appreciate your service to the community but pretending that the virus has disappeared like a miracle is flawed judgement, as well as putting your employees and customers at risk.

Had the worst experience with this very large butcher obviously having a bad day. Wouldn’t show me where to look for certain kind of meat cuts and wouldn’t answer my questions. Very unfriendly and made my mind up to not come back. Publix is where I’ll shop. Meat prices a bit higher but at least the employees are friendly.

Every time I go there its like a crapshoot. I bought wd brand garlic bread that was moldy that had a use by date for 3 days. I bought zucchini spirals from produce that was pickled rotten and had a use by date for 5 days from now. I have never seen fresh onions there either. Theyre always slimy. The people are nice and shopping is convenient but Im tired of wasting money on food that I cant tell if its spoiled until I bring it home.

Andy and Mike, the store managers need to be retrained. My wife was in there yesterday and the cashier made an error on her purchase, rather than letting my Wife correct this error at the cashier the Manager Mike made her wait in another long line in customer service. My wife informed the manager Mike that she had recent surgery and this was supposed to be a quick trip, standing and walking in still painful for her, he gave her an attitude and ignored her request to correct the error at the current register again and forced her to wait in the customer service line or not get the product she was there for. There was no need for this manager to give my wife an attitude and make her wait again over an issue that was caused by the associate at the store and wasnt even my wifes fault. I called the store after hearing this and spoke to the other manager Andy who was very dismissing of my complaint and acting like he didnt even care and brushed me off. This is not the kind of treatment a manager of a store should show a regular customer and we will no longer be shopping at our local Winn Dixie thank to the disrespectful managers Mike and Andy

Always a great place to find good deals on meats. The store is kept very clean and the customer service is great. I also love coming here with my son because they have child-sized carts. He loves to help me shop. The carts are also great because they have a handle so parents can help with maneuvering them. The adult shopping carts have a cup holder, so shopping with a drink is simple. This is definitely the best Winn-Dixie in the area.

Great place to shop for convenience. Fast, friendly checkout. Has self checkout as well. Foods are always fresh. Even has a $1 section. Has buy 2 get 2 free sales a lot. I gave it 4 stars because they dont always have what I am looking for and because some prices are a little high

Stop by occasionally since it is close to home. Parking available, but often difficult to find disabled spots. Prices are higher than other grocery stores in area but convenience is often why I choose to stop in for one or two items. Most employees are friendly and helpful.

Great food but spinach was cold

They have everything I need! Meats are great but high. Fruit is fresh as well as veggie. Bakery needs more thing but what they have is great. You need to try the Chocolate Chip cookies!!!! To die for. Customer service is very friendly & helpful. A high priced on the other hand its worth it!!!

The only place I will buy meat. I love their BOGOs, Fresh fruits veggies, etc. I do shop at the other grocery stores for targeted items. IVE Never been disappointed with WINN-DIXIE.

Great store for its size. Get most of my grocery needs here. Across the street from where I live, so very convenient. However, they need to do a better job with keeping items stocked on the shelves at busy hours on the weekends. Whether its because of the lack of enough employees, or the simple lack of not having enough supply to keep up with the demand within the last 5 hours or so before closing, this needs to be changed. I would have given 5 instead of four stars if this in particular was a lot more efficient.

What can you say about Windixie... Its a decent store, convenient a bit over priced and could be a tad bit cleaner but all in all its not bad. Would like to see more do it yourself registers than the 4 it has, its just a quicker way to check out. Otherwise its an OK store... Not great by any means but definitely not bad

Because unlike Publix here they cater to people with big families. They never stiff you on the oxtails and you get a lot more for your money. These days you can barely get by with what you have leftover over after paying Bills. Winning Dixie is there to make sure our families can afford to eat a good meal. Great Store. Weekend sales are great. The manager of the Winn Dixie off Nova Rd is absolutely great. He gets out & Stocks shelves will even go in the back of the store to look for something that is out on the shelf. They are great with helping Disabled people get their groceries in the car.

I love how they do their rewards cards overprice everything in the store so you will give them your information just to get the fair price for your food If you notice you only say around 20 to 30 cents on you but its been marked up at least 3 $4 And now they want you to bag in scan all of your own groceries Ive been employee of the month twice and dont even work there

Great store but terrible trying to reach someone. I called 5 times trying to get someone in the meat/seafood department to speak to me and i just waited and waited just to be kicked back to customer service and again waited. Of course i just gave up and went in i initially wanted to make sure they had what i needed first but that didnt work out.I still love the store but just one critique answering the phone better for customers.

I do not shop here every week since the prices are usually higher than every other grocery store. The reason I do go is for the sales. Occasionally they have buy one get one on London broil and nothing is better than saving fifteen dollars at once. The quality is good and the people who work here are also nice.

I stopped by Winn Dixie for fried chicken -- always good for the price. I purchased a couple bottles of wine as well from their great selection. They almost always have all the grocery items that I need.

For a Saturday,the shelves were not stocked good at all! Some items were even empty. Four self-service lines open,and only two full service open. People dont want to bag their own groceries!! Not good!

The self checkout is a bit strange, it still requires store personnel input before you make payment, kind of defeats the purpose of saving time at self checkout. They do have new carts and the carts have cup holders on them, 2 different types to better accommodate what ever you might have.

Winn Dixie on Port Orange is GREAT. The one on Nova Rd there is a young man in customer service, very, very rude. He is a young African American, I have complained to the store manager many times but he still works there. Our complaints as a customer, fall on deaf hears.

Its the only Winn Dixie in the area with a self-checkout area. Its great and clean. I can be in and out within minutes and have never had a problem with finding things quickly. They also recently got a re-designed the whole store!

I always find what Im looking for and they are willing to order things they dont always carry if they can. The cashiers are always nice and willing to help. I shop here over the competitors all the time.

Store itself is clean. And is fine just like any other however, it is nothing compares to Publix in look or quality and cut fruit ECT not the best in town. They know this. Why not fix? Anyway it is ok and pay is low for starting employees. Min wage. $8 something... Who can survive on that?

Since this grocery store has been remodeled the prices have went up tremendously. Wal-Mart is definitely cheaper now! They could have upgraded the self check outs there old and they dont have anthing for produce to look up.

Winn Dixie is one of those standard corporate experiences you can trust. High quality food selection at a fair price. I was surprised by how clean the restrooms were.I did however not like the fact that they locked the entrance door 2 hours before closing and even put a sign in front of it to deter people from coming in. We had to use the exit doors to enter.

I like Winn-Dixie for the convenience of being close and stay somewhat loyal because I remember they were one of the first grocery stores available in our area.

First off i dont know how anyone can say this store is up to par......or CLEAN...its the most dirtiest store around....down to the check out belts at the registers!!!! The produce department is thumbs down mushy veggies in bags out dated fruits ect....out dated bread seriously i would hate to see how any of you live rating this store more than one star!!! You couldnt pay me to eat food out of THAT deli....this store needs adults with management experience and osha cleaning!!!! Gross...close it....9/2/19-WOULD Have been nice if YOU COULD keep the website posted that your Closed!!!! All the other stores let people know that.....

Always have no problem finding what I need at competitive prices. The only problem is the inconsistencies in the deli. For example, themac and cheese recipe is often different from the previous visit. Otherwise a great place to shop.

Small store in need of renovation. Im new to the area. Went there to buy some beer. Stella was $21.99 for a 12 pack! Are you kidding? The nearby Publix is a much nicer store - larger, brighter, cleaner - and the same beer is $7.00 less costly. Dont know if other food is, likewise, more expensive at Winn Dixie, but I dont know why anyone would shop there unless convenience is their #1 priority.

Good for quick shopping. However if you go a couple hours before closing time sometimes the only lane open is self check out and hard to find employees.

Winn Dixie and Publix are my two go to grocery stores for almost everything we eat and drink. I shop them both. The Weekly ads come out both in paper and online and the BOGO deals are a no brainer for all those non perishable items that you are going to buy anyway. Good clean store with good quality food.

I cant get over how high their prices have gone up compared to other stores I shop at. Not bogo anymore, its buy 2 get 1 free on a lot of items. Ill stick to other stores, just went there because its close only needed few items. Cut cost by purchasing their brand on certain items.

Just went to Win Dixie and could not believe cashier there was not going to help elderly lady put bags in cart. I told her bout herself too.... This lady who had to be like 75 years young was struggling to do it herself and I looked right at the young cashier and said very loudly,WOW, ARE YOU SERIOUSLY NOT GOING TO HELP HER PUT THOSE IN HER CART???... Even the guy who was next in line did not offer to help... The cashier stopped ringing up his order and put the ladies bags in her cart... I could not believe it... Who is teaching them to do their jobs there... This was the Port Orange Win Dixie on corner of Spruce Creek and Nova Road.... That store sure is going down hill...
