Bought a new vehicle battery at Batteries Plus Bulbs in Glendale, WI late Sunday 1/7 while all other mechanic shops were closed. The employee who helped me at Batteries Plus Bulbs couldn’t install the battery because the previous mechanic who installed the previous battery used non-standard fasteners which couldn’t easily be removed.Took the new battery home with me and called Mike the next morning Monday 1/8. Mike asked me to come in right away. Mike stopped what he was doing and replaced the battery for me right away. Mike only charged me $10 to do this. I gave Mike $20 for understanding the urgency and for helping me right away.Mike also gave me some extra time and provided general advice on some questions I have about my vehicle.Will be returning soon to have Mike generally look over my vehicle and provide insight on any work Mike suggests.I’m big on first impressions. Mike gave me a great first impression and was very accommodating to my needs. Great mechanic to have in Port Washington, WI.

Mike is awesome. Down to earth guy who really knows his stuff. Very honest and fair. He will tell you how it is, what the options are, and their pros/cons. Ive been there a few times now, and each time feels like an honest, open discussion on what should be done. There is no pressure, and I never feel like I am being pushed to buy something I dont need.

Mike knows his stuff and gives you realistic prices and expectations of how long things can wait or will last you before you need to repair. Being a female and going to a mechanic almost always means someone will try to rip you off. Not Mike, he is great and only trust my cars to him.

Our starter went on our car and left us stranded. Got it to start with a jump and drove it right to Mikes. This was a Sunday night and by Monday afternoon it was ready for us. Nice guy and a good alternative to chain mechanic shops.
