Visited Saturday, July 28 and the salesperson was fantastic. He offered us a tour and insight into some of the most unique pieces. Best service there yet. Keep up the fantastic work.
Amazing custom furniture. Jeff was super nice. Thank you
If you are looking for the most hipster furniture shop in Portland you can look no further. Finding this shop is half the fun, but once you get there you will see the sketchy elevator or the 4 flights of stairs are worth it. The huge selection of mid century furniture and other awesomeness is not often seen. The prices are steep but fair for what they are selling. Its always fun to stop in and see what they are selling.
Absolutely fantastic collection of mid-century and danishs pieces. Spencer was beyond helpful. The space is so beautiful. The overall experience from walking into the space to walking out with two new pieces was definitely worth all five stars.
Fantastic refurb of 60s chairs. Expensive but worth it. Great staff service too!
This is not your modern-day furniture store. Dont expect to be strolling into a living version of Dwell Magazine or Design Within Reach. That said, I am a little enamored with this space. Its this hidden gem in the heart of part of Portlands busiest (traffic wise, at least) area. An incredible lofty, industrial feeling space... A great place to browse for truly unique furniture and home-decor items. Seemingly, most of these items have been refurbished from worn down condition.Theres something magical about wandering the treasures in the Good Mod. When the day comes that I have a true home to furnish (goodbye IKEA), theyll be on my list for exploring.
If youre looking for overpriced furniture made of plywood and MDF look no further! This place will charge way over market standard AND THEN take an extra month to finish the project. The only people who buy furniture here are the ones who can afford to spend thousands on something you can get at Ikea for $100. Dont shop here.
The have a great staff and unique selection–its a beautifully curated store!
It is a store that is in Oregon, also there is no leg spiders
Huge warehouse of mid century modern, upstairs.
Coolstaf is also great.
Skip unless youre specifically looking for 50s - 60s retro.
The best place in Portland. I was thrilled to see the furniture of many famous designers. The space configuration and furniture layout were excellent, and space utilization was also varied. I could see the work room, the material room, and the space to take pictures. It was so good that it felt like a gallery rather than a furniture store. I want to work here, and I want to run such a place.
