Having to have work done on your car can be a real headache, but I always feel at ease taking my car here. The servicemen do an incredible job, both with quality of service & in a timely manner. All staff, especially Debbie, are so knowledgeable, able to explain things in terms that apply to your personal situation, and take care to make you feel taken care of. My mom was recommended here by a friend, then she recommended me. We will never take our cars anywhere else, and recommend everyone come here too for all car care needs!

Had them install a new radiator in my 2003 Saab 9,5 Aero had great customer service from Debbie and the mechanic was available to talk to me and show me the old parts when i picked the car up and answer any questions i had, they also checked the whole heating system to ensure i would not have problems after i left changed thermostat and new lower hose they did a great job for a reasonable price.i found one small thing wrong after i left and came back the next day and they jumped right on it and fixed it without a second word.would recommend them to others and plan on taking my car back for any major service.only thing i would suggest to them would be to clean the car up maybe a wash to make the owner be in aw about bringing it into them maybe add that to your service thank you Keith and Debbie and mechanics for the good experience. needed it right before the holidays. overall would give them a 4.5 score

Walked into this place and no one was at the counter . Waited for a few minutes and no one appeared. Rang the bell(which is on the counter) and a woman named Debbie rudely pops out from her corner and exclaims that she is on the phone and walks away. Don’t recommend at all

I found this shop through my Carmax warranty and it was a great referral. Debbie was so sweet and knowledgeable. The shop is clean and cozy, very welcoming. Although, I didn’t need any major work done to my truck I loved the Courtesy Inspection report they provided via email and text.l when the job was complete. I can sure appreciate a business that keeps up with technology. I will definitely be returning when my cars when they do need some actual work done!

Great service! Just the report on my car was very thorough - the best Ive ever seen actually. The work was well done. I was travelling when the car was repaired and I received daily updates. A card wishing me a good trip and thanking me for my business arrived in the mail!

To say Portland Auto Specialties saved me is no exaggeration. I completely broke down on the side of the Freeway and they rescued me and my car, took me to the rental car place to get a rental, even helped me donate my dead car to charity and kept it onsite until it was picked up. These wonderful people were so unbelievably kind to a flustered older woman with nobody at home to call. They will always be top notch in my book!

So my first accident happened not too far from the shop. As I was sitting there for an hour waiting for the tow truck progressive called for me, a tow truck driver from crown towing came by to check on me to see if I needed help. I didnt know I had a choice to choose where I took my car, I thought I had to go where progressive said to go. I feel very lucky that I ended up here. My car is as good as new and it was done early!! What? How does this happen? I have 5 tend who will all be driving at some point and this is where will be going if we need something done . Thank you so much .

I have never been to an auto repair shop where they take the time and talk you through what theyre doing. Most shops take your car, give it back and take your money. At Portland Auto Specialties they gave me a square fair deal as far as I can tell. I will recommend them and return to have my car worked on in the future. THANK YOU PAS.

Ive been bringing my cars here for over 10 years. Keith has always taken care of me like family. From oil changes to autobody work and everything in between. They do great work and I save big money vs a dealership. I even had my vehicles detailed there.

I, like many others, have gone to many shops and dealers over the years, but Portland Auto Specialties is the only shop that I found that Restores, Repairs, and Details automobiles. Portland Auto Specialties has taken excellent care of my vehicles through the years. and I highly recommend them.

This is a great place to go. I like the mechanics work. The mechanic is fair, honest, and professional. In addition, the mechanic always finds time to fit me into his schedule. I would recommend this mechanic to anyone!

Went in to fix my cars thermostat, Ruby/Deby “assisted” me but very rude and short responses like if she didn’t want to help.I turned around and left. She was not welcoming or interested in making business.(Another older gentlemen was very friendly and engaging but he wasn’t helping me)

I was stuck on the side of the road and Portland Auto Specialties towing company (under the name Crown Towing) picked me up after I called AAA. I was brought back to the shop where they took great care of me. I was in and out in under 45 minutes (I needed my battery jumped and metal removed from a tire). Every person that I interacted with was friendly and informative, from the tow truck driver to the men working at the shop.The shop and waiting room were clean and inviting! I didnt mind waiting while chatting with Keith and drinking complementary coffee. Thanks!

I have used this company three times now for a variety of services. I find them to be very knowledgeable and friendly people. Work has always been done within the scheduled timeframe and my car is ready as expected. I have never had a problem or complaint whatsoever.

Holds your car hostage when with no notice they change the price with no motive and no explanation, owner got into a real upset because i was asking questions seemed to me he doesnt like colored people. Not only that but what they worked on my van was the wrong thing and had to pay more to actually get it fixed. I usually dont write reviews but these people keep sending me emails and make fun of how they rob people of their hard earned money.

Keith at Portland Auto Specialists helped me out of a nasty bind over the Thanksgiving weekend. I had damaged my girlfriends car parking and had to pay out of pocket for repairs. Firstly, as a worker in the service industry I seldom review establishments, I dont like to the smell of my farts tat much. If I get poor service I dont go back.This is the second time I have take to PAS. Nick and Deb provide the utmost quality customer service. Furthermore, the mechanics were kind enough to go further in investigating the issue. It was just the starter but other shops were lazy and didnt want to test it because the starters are a pain in the neck to reach on transverse four cylinders. Short story long, I have had a great experience going here and would recommend them to friends and family. Wang Chung!

Had a Ford Fiesta 1.6 from 2011 that needed to have the timingbelt and a faulty o2 sensor replaced. It took less than 24 hours from the first time I talked to Debbie at the frontdisk, until I had my car back. The people at this place are very professional and serviceminded, so all in all a nice experience.

Came in with a Ford fiesta 2011 1.6 that needed to have the timing belt replaced and an O2 sensor and waterpump swapped. Talked to them at wednesday afternoon, and we agreed to deliver the car to them the next morning. We deliver the car at 7:30 AM, and take an uber downtown to see the city. Around 12 they call to let us know that the waterpump isnt driven by the timing belt, and therefor doesnt have to be replaced. We agree to let the old waterpump stay under the hood.At 4.30 PM they call again, saying the car Will be ready in 10 minuttes.At 4.40pm we arrive, Pay for the repair, and drive off with the car!A perfect experience, with good communication throughout the whole proces!Would definetly recommend!

Fair prices for service. didnt treat me like i was stupid and knew nothing about how cars. my vehicle didnt need major repair, so i cant say they fixed anything, just needs new spark plugs which i can do myself. but they performed the diagnostics i needed and didnt make up something unnecessary just to get work.

Let me just say, this is the best experience i have ever had with a garage. im new to portland and wasnt sure where to take my car when the a/c compressor went out. My AAA tow truck driver recommended me to Portland Auto Specialties and i couldnt have been happier with the service. Debbie was incredibly kind and helpful and kept me updated the entire time. They gave me options as to how i wanted to go about repairing the car and at no time did i ever feel pressured into paying more for something i didnt need. They where very reasonably priced and my car was back on the road in just 2 days! Couldnt recommend them enough!!

To cut it short the new people that own Portland Auto are rude and I am very disappointed how they just talk to me over the phone. I miss the old owners because they knew how to treat their customers right.

Garbage work. Not even that good I paid them over 900 just to get my rig back. They were supposed to fix rust around my windshield. Looks like they let a druggie loose with a grinder then spread seam seal all over the place. Yelled at me like a crazy person when I complained.

Got stuck at work when my car wouldnt start. I tried jumping it but no luck, so I had it towed to Portland Auto Specialties. They diagnosed the problem (bad alternator) and got me up and running in no time. Great job.
