All went smoothly in spite of them being extremely busy. Phil was very communicative which is very important to me. Our car looks fantastic.

From the moment I called, Phil took the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions and explain the process to me. He went above and beyond to make sure that my car was evaluated in a timely manner, and made sure to promptly follow-up with me at every step of the way. When I arrived to have my car evaluated Phil and Bruce were efficient and kind. They even helped me to unload my car! These guys are awesome!! I worked at a dealership up the street, and they always did a great job on the vehicles wed send over. So when I was rear ended the other day, I knew where to take it. You truly cant tell it was wrecked. Like, I keep pulling up stuff in the trunk looking for something that looks like it was replaced, and it is just all correct. Im blown away. They took the time to do everything right.By law in Oregon, you get a choice of body shop, so dont let some claims adjuster push you into one of their hack job cheap shops. These guys will take care of you and do right by your car. They really just handled everything.Sam, youre the best! I love the hell out of my car, and its my doorway to the world. Ive been so anxious that it would never be the same, but you guys did better than I thought was possible. Thank you!!

I’ve been to Gerber twice now and each time was a pleasant, stress-free experience. I’ve worked with both Sam and Nick on separate occasions and it’s refreshing how helpful and trustworthy they were. They provided honest, open assessments of the damage and suggested the most economical solution for the repair, whether or not it benefited their business. Gerber on Broadway is your neighborly repair shop with professional results and I would recommend them with full confidence.

I Had my truck towed here after someone drilled a hole in my gas tank to steal gas. This is was a preferred vendor from my insurance company so I went with them. They called me immediately after the tow company dropped it off. They had me come down and sign off on the damage report. They were friendly and honest with me about how long it would take. By the time it was getting close to being done I unfortunately had a death in the family and had to leave town. Once I told them what had happened they put a rushed on my truck and I had it back that day! That was in my books amazing customer service. Hopefully I don’t have to but if I have another problem I will be going back there.

Ive been to Gerber on Broadway a couple times now. Each visit has been excellent, friendly, fast, and professional.My first visit was for a rear end collision that left my rear bumper with a good crunch. Everything from estimate to getting my keys handed back to me was great. The team at Gerber did a great job.Second visit was actually my wife, we were getting ready for a trip to the coast during a rainstorm. Nick fixed our windshield wipers for us and thanks to him we were able to make it to the family reunion. Great job Nick! You rock!We will be back for future repairs.

Nick was awesome. He took care of my rental, went to bat for me against the insurance company, and best of all, they have repaired my vehicles 3 or 4 times and every time it is a perfect job. You cannot tell at all that there was ever damage. Paint is perfect, lines are perfect. I am very happy with them!

I totaled our 2011 Toyota Corolla, so Broadway Body and Paint (aka Broadway Auto Body) did not get a chance to work on our vehicle. Nonetheless, the customer service was excellent.Being in a wreck is always an emotional time. Their kindness and politeness lifted my spirits. I had removed all items from the vehicle prior to it being towed. Later in the night I realized I had lost an important and unique earring during the chaos. I went back to the accident scene, talked to the Portland Police East Precinct (Linda also was very helpful and went above and beyond), and the tow company. During one of my phone conversations with Broadway Body, it struck me maybe the earring had fallen out of my purse as I was gathering items. Even though Sam knew I would not be getting work done on the vehicle, he went out in the rain and looked through the car for my earring and found it. Tim was helpful by taking a photo of it messaging me so I could confirm it was the right earring without making a trip. It was!I am very grateful to these gentlemen. It says a lot about their professionalism. For this alone, I recommend them to others. If we are in need of their services in the future, I will not hesitate to contact them.Thank you!

So far Ive been pleased with their service and had to take my car back there just because of their efficiency and attempts to be transparent. Although there have been a couple mishaps. Beware this is not an auto body shop but instead is an intake center so dont go looking for your car if they are repairing it. But they will make sure your car is in good hands when they transport it to their other shop where all the work is done.

Gerber did a most excellent job; AND a couple of things we didnt have on the work order. Pleasant and efficient! You wont go wrong using them.

The dispatcher/intake representative said a morning/early afternoon fix for my window after a break-in would be fine and so I dropped off my car, then got a call from a technician in Salem saying it would be at the end of the day since he was in another city. He was very nice, so adding a star for him, but this was really unnecessary waste of time to schedule and drop off my car to be fixed on an already stressful morning, to then lose a bunch of time and have to call around a second time so I can repairs done in time to go pick up my kiddo after school. No fun.

Highly recommend this shop! I came to Gerber after having my car swiped while parked on the street. I worked with Nick who was super friendly, and went above and beyond to help me out, and answer all of my 10,000 questions. I was instantly greeted and offered coffee, water, hot chocolate in the lobby. He took care of contacting the guy who hit me, his insurance company, and arranged my rental car. The best customer service I’ve ever had at an auto body shop, not to mention I got my car back looking brand spanking new and better than ever in just a few days! Hopefully won’t have any car damage in the future, but if so will definitely be coming back!Thank you Nick + Gerber staff!

The nice folks here had a look at the smashed drivers window and slightly dented sheet metal on my new Tacoma. They told me I could probably just take it to the glass guy and he could deal with the minor repair. Then the incredibly helpful salesperson vacuumed all the broken glass out of my truck and applied plastic to the open drivers window frame (it was a rainy day) and sent me on my way. Such courtesy, at no charge. Good people. I hope not to need their business, but if I do, this is where I will go.

I called to get a quote because some vandal spray painted my door. And they told me they would buff it out for FREE! Best experience ever to think I am going to have to shell out hundreds to get something fixed and it ends up being done for free, Seriously! Thanks again Guys!

I had a flat at 2am Saturday night. I called all around town looking for a patch kit. Hopeless I looked and found the owner working on cars. I embarrassed went to the their door and they were more then happy to help me. They got me back on the road in minutes. When I begged to give him money he refused and told me to go on way. I cannot thank the owner enough. The man is a saint. Thank you!

These good reviews must be rigged because this place is one big awful experience. No following up with the customer, manipulation of prices, dishonest timelines, etc etc etc. I could honestly go on and on about how bad this experience was. In the end, I took my truck back, which had no repairs made on it and all I had to show for any of this was Uber costs and gas that they used up when they were driving the car around.STAY AWAY.

As a senior citizen, I was overwhelmed with all the details after my car was involved in an accident. Nick came to my rescue and was there for me on every question and issue. He has great customer service skills and came across as detail oriented. I couldnt be more pleased with both Nick and Gerber Collision.

I went to Gerber Collision after a scheduled estimate with another garage.My car was damaged while I was in a store running errands and I came out to see some very minimal paint scrapes above my driver side rear wheel with no actual dents or dings to the body. After setting up a quote with my insurance copy at another local body shop, I was given a $700 estimate to fix the minor damage. Unable and unwilling to pay this exorbitant amount, I sought a second opinion. Toyota Portland referred me to Gerber Collision because they do not have a body shop in-house for their own vehicles.I called Gerber and they did not require an appointment and they told me to come by whenever I was able to get an estimate for the damage. I went just a few minutes later, was offered coffee, hot chocolate, or water and was given the wonderful news within minutes that the repairs could be done the same day at my convenience. Nick Mueller helped me out, completed the repairs for well below the $700 I was originally quoted, was friendly and very helpful. I will certainly be going back to Gerber if I ever have the misfortune to have another collision issue. THANK YOU for making my day and making this problem pain-free!

I would not take my vehicle here! They do not pay their vendors. We have been trying to collect from work we did for them for over a year now. We now have to hire a collection agency. We are a small business ourselves and never treat our clients and vendors like this.They have been rude and lied repeatedly to us about payment!!

I have been this place two times. Unfortunately, they never been nice to me. Never keep promises and I have received a collection agency letter after they promised me to pay for rental car. Not only that, they have never finished the job on promised day. I had to go and back three times to get my car. Never suggest this place to anyone.
