I called to order a part for my SUV. They said they had one and the price was reasonable even with shipping. I received it a few days later and it was the tail light instead of the backup light. They are completely separate from one another, not sure how you confuse them.I was working with Jackie. She was very nice when she would answer the phone. Which was not very often. After numerous calls she initiated UPS to come pick up the part to return it, but did not tell me that she did. All I wanted was the return shipping label. I could stick it on and drop it at UPS myself. I gave my email address numerous time and never received a single email. I also talked to Mike once and. Ever received a call or email from him either. Overall very poor customer service. I wont try again.

As soon as I got off work I went straight to portland from long beach and was doing good until I had to go through 4 wrecks in portland. Called them an hour before closing because instead of 30 min early I was now going to be literally 1 min late. They were rude and even laughed at us when we was there at 5:01pm said better luck next time. It was already paid for and they had plenty of time to have what little paper work needed to sign to have been ready. Would have took a few min of their time. After talking to other people they have a bad reputation in portland for being rude and unprofessional. Will never use this branch again and made me think twice before using any law ever again.

After seeing a part on Carparts listed for $135 (which is about the price of the new part), I asked him if he can give me a better price. He said β€œthat’s the best I can do” which he says every time. I said but that’s literally the posted price, and he hung up on my face. The employees here need to understand that they are selling used parts off salvage vehicles which they mark up as brand new parts, there’s always room for negotiation in the car industry. Not to mention their horrible customer service, surprised they’re still open.

Needed to find a new seat for my Tundra. Called and spoke with Jalyssa a few moments ago. She asked me a few questions and had my seat on its way from California within 5 minutes, and a great price, 85 bucks. She also said that she would call and email me once the seat is ready to be picked up. This was the most pleasant experience that I have had on the phone in quite some time. I paid $10,800 for some parts for my 2018 Lexus LC 500.The very next day, after opening up the parts, I discovered that a roof rail molding had a few scratches on it and a sensor on the shock was broken. I also realized I wouldnt need a rack & pinion, because mine was actually fine.They agreed to exchange the shock with the broken sensor and return the rack & pinion, but NOT the roof rail molding with the scratches, because I am breaking the package deal Justin said.Thats how they handle their 90 days return policy on the damaged parts, no less!

Theyve always been very helpful and have delivered good parts and mostly on time to my shop. Sometimes I have to followup on a part but the mistakes have all been minor. Also, they are very clear about what they do and what they dont warranty. For example, on a used engine they dont typically warranty labor. For parts compatibility it is up to the purchaser to inspect and verify compatibility prior to signing for it. My driver makes that clear to me.

Would not recommend. Was quoted two different prices for parts, was told to go in stores instead of purchasing over the phone, and the representative purposely lied to me about the store hours, knowing it was closed. I even pleaded that it was as well, but she assured me it didn’t close until 6. Drove all the way there just to be confirmed that it was closed at 5. Once I tried to call back, the call went straight to voicemail telling me they are closed as well.Edit: After calling back today, I was quoted for an even more expensive price, again. So I decided to order through another company that charged almost $50 less. There are way better options.

I purchased a transmission for my customer from LKQ. I paid for the item and shipping. My tax was removed since I am a re seller, and also a core was not charged. I was more than happy to buy this. The day before scheduled arrival I put my customers car on a lift and removed his Transmission. On the day of arrival LKQ let me know my shipment was lost and I needed to wait 5-15 days for it to be tracked down or accept a refund.At this time I tracked down another in Houston a 8 hour round trip drive from my business. I needed this right away so I left the next morning to buy it. First off upon arrival it was not ready, and I had to wait a couple hours for it. Second I was charged a core, and third I was charged sales tax. LKQ had no way to match the same sales term of the lost item. Also upon asking to be compensated for my cost of retrieving a Transmission from the same company ASAP I was flat out denied.

How it works: you order the parts from the 800 call center and the warehouse on Cameron pulls it, which may take up to 6 hours or next bus. day. Customer service was polite to me, both call center and warehouse, but the part that was pulled did not match the system description. They tried to resolve this but did not have another matching part. I had to do the follow up calls, thus the 3 stars and not 4. Other customers picking up parts seemed satisfied and the parts looked to be well packed and good quality.

Sold me a torn up transmission. Have to drive the 1.5 hours back there to replace it. Metal filings and pieces of gear surface down in the pan. Very dirty inside. The warranty is not enough. What about all of my wasted time back and forth? Instead of warranty, how about getting it right the first time? Will never use them again.

Awful customer service, NEVER COMING BACK! they messed up the shipping address the first time, I was lucky I checked the receipt before they shipped it to the shop I was repairing my car. I paid cash for my part and when arrived to the shop they wanted to collect payment from them as well and obviously they send it back. It was really important to fix my car and now there’s another day delay (hopefully) thanks to their incompetence. I don’t really know how can you maintain a business this way. I would never come back, you’d do the same if you’re smart.Update: They never sent the part again. If you want to deal with the worst business in Portland please be my guess, but this guys are the worst. They don’t even know where the part is now. Can you believe that! Poor customer serviceSo yesterday afternoon i called in and spoke with a very nice young lady who tried to help me find a part. She said she would pass the info she got from me on to the people in the yard and someone would get back to me and let me know if they found the part i was looking for, no one called me back.Today i drove the hour and fifteen minutes to their yard only to have the women behind the new & used parts counter (who i apparently disturbed, quietly waiting for her to get off the phone) to tell me that the part (while having the manufacture name, part number, and description) i wanted wasnt called by the name i was give her, and there was no such part. After nicely telling her the part name, where it was located at in the vehicle, the compatible vehicles, and how to check if the part is good or bad. Thats when she told me that they did not have any of the vehicles i was looking for in their yard. then she got back to her phone call.

UPDATE: My service manager found a new rep and things have been going great ever since.My mechanic shop received a quote for a low mileage used engine. We asked multiple times if the quote included core charge. They said yes. Engine showed up and the bill says additional $275 more than we were quoted. Called our rep who rudely said what do you want me to do about it?. Delivery driver was rude as well. No one seemed to care about making the situation right or even apologize so we told the driver to keep the motor. We talked with a manager who didnt seem to care either.They still owe us a $275 from a core they received March 10th and we cannot get anyone to take care of us. Fortunately there are plenty of other wrecking yards to get parts from so we simply wont be doing business with them anymore.

These people... I called them to pick up and recycle my car. We agreed on a price. I was to sign over my title to the driver and they would mail me my check. Supposedly, after picking up my car and title on Friday, the check would be cut and mailed on Monday. Didnt happen. I called, they gave me a fake check number, then told me it had already been mailed. Never came. I called again. This time I told them I was coming in the morning and I was going to stand there until they cut me a check. Of course, this brought out hostility from Jenn the title girl I worked with on this and she was obviously very rude and rolled her eyes at me because we are a legitimate business and we wouldnt just not pay you. So the bookkeeper confirmed that the fake check had not been cashed then cut me a check. And guess what? I was told I couldnt cash it until the next day. Also, two weeks later and the check they supposedly mailed never came. Liars. They had no intention of paying me, that was clear.

My parked car was hit and my rear axle beam was bent and the car totaled. The auto shop was going to charge $900 for the part plus $400-500 labor. LKQ sold me the axle beam for $90, yes 1/10 the price. They said they would have it shipped to the store of my choosing and it would be a day or 2. They told me to call to confirm delivery, I called and it was there. Went to pick it up and it was waiting for me as they said it would, it cost what I was quoted and the part was correct. I very unexpectedly had to give up my car (wasnt worth fixing) and it was suggested I call LKQ Foster Auto Parts to come pick up my car/buy from me. I had called 3 places prior and LKQ gave me $100 more than the others quoted. The people on the phone were friendly and walked me through the whole process (including leaving my car for a pick up the next day--and doing it in a way I felt good/safe about it). They called to confirm when the car had been picked up (by my request), and called again to let me know that my check was ready to be picked up (for the amount quoted on the phone) with exchange of the title. Today I brought the title in and was in and out in about 5-10 minutes with my check in my hands. Again, nothing but friendly customer service.

On second trip bought a Subaru engine (guy said 20k miles) when finally got my hands on the engine it looked like it have 200k not 20 and after install it was knocking. If you are working on your only car, and you need the part ASAP, dont try here, they dont know the meaning of need or fast. I called and ordered a part at noon, and they said it would be ready by 3pm the next day. The next day I called at 2:30pm to see if it was ready, after 15 min. of being on hold, I was told it was pulled the day before, but they couldnt find it. They said they would call me when they found it. No call, so I showed up at 4pm and they said it was in will-call. I went to will-call to find out the order got deleted. The gentleman on the phone was helpful and said that he would have one of the workers go out and put eyes on it to make sure they had the part. He said he would call back shortly...never did. I decided to head down to the store on my way around town running errands. When I reached the used parts counter the lady was very rude cutting me off before I was even able to describe the part. After I insisted that I had called ahead and spoke with them about it prior to coming in she told me they only sell that part as part of a greater whole. She was very dismissive and wasnt helpful at all. I will never give these people my business and will tell anyone who asks about my terrible experience here.

I cannot recommend this place. Total nightmare! I purchased two used rims and paid for them and they were having them shipped directly to my house. When UPS arrived, UPS informed me that they were sent COD (Cash on delivery). I called LKQ and they told me that if I wanted them I would have to pay for them again and then they could reimburse me. Honestly, this sounded like a scam. They told me that they would look into it and I never got a call back. Several weeks later I demanded to speak with the manager who resolved the issue, but it should not have taken this long or required this much work to get something I already paid for. Horrible experience here and I will not be using them again and I advise others not to use them.

This company is a stupid joke, I bought a used engine from them, engine came with 6 months warranty. We spent 4 days to take off the old one and put the new one but at the end we found out the engine was wrong, was for a different model. We called them to ask for the cost of the labor and part but they said that so sorry! they would just bring another engine and take the wrong one?! What kind of warranty is that? Who is going to pay for 1800$ labor cost because of your wrong engine. Staff not really helpful, lie after lie. They are not deserved any business. Very Shady!

What really bothers me and so many others, how come such a big and great company with such a poor costumer service, On the phone and in store.
