Our metal patio cover collapsed under the snow and ice from the February 2021 storm. I called a few other companies before speaking with my insurance adjuster. When the insurance adjuster told me the estimate I panicked because all the quotes I had gotten so far were 3x that amount. Bill came out to quote our job, and gave me an estimate pretty much exactly like my insurance company had estimated. When I mentioned how much higher the other quotes I had gotten were, Bill actually called out those companies by name, and said its criminal what those companies charge.We definitely werent the only people looking for a patio cover, and the covid strain on suppliers has spread to all industries. It took quite a while for us to get our cover, but once the guys got to us, they had it up by 6:30pm that night. The guys made sure to clean up all the metal shavings and screws, which I was very thankful for as my kids run barefoot through the yard all the time.Its beautiful! So much sturdier than our old one, and makes our patio space look so much better. Im grateful for honest companies like this!

My wife and I contracted with May Awning to replace two older covers we had. They did a fantastic job taking the old covers down and put up new covers that added light, style, and cooler temps to our outdoor experience! May Awning’s estimate for my glass-roofed sunroom was very thorough and fair. I tried to get other estimates as well, but their closest competitor actually referred me back to May, stating that May are really the best/only ones in town who can do a glass ceiling room within a certain price.In addition to building the room I’d ordered, Bill went above and beyond to make sure the existing parts of my house were altered properly to accommodate the new room.I can’t recommend May Awning highly enough to reflect how pleased I am with my new sunroom and the experience of having it built.

Our patio awning a victim of 2021s snow storm, I contacted May Awning about clean-up and a replacement. Bill was so awesome -- within just under 4 (FOUR) hours of our phone conversation, about 200 sq ft of awning plus framework, uprights, damaged soffit & fascia and destroyed patio furniture & decor was gone and the patio swept clean!! With this kind of service, we cant wait to work with them on a new awning.AUGUST UPDATE: May Awning did an awesome job with the immediate cleanup of the disaster and, once the materials arrived, installing the new unit. Scheduling the installation took longer than usual but very understandable when everyone is dealing with shortage of materials due to Covids upheaval of normal life.

We are very happy with the patio cover that May Awning built for us last week. My wife and I chose the Elitewood design with acrylic roof panels that are heat resistant... the finished product is beautiful and very functional. We have already used our covered space several times and look forward to many years of enjoyment. All of Mays employees were great to work from start to finish and the installation crew was extremely professional and knowledgeable... we couldnt be happier with our purchase and will recommend May Awning to anyone that is in the market.

May Awning worked with us to detach our 30-40ft awning from our roof and reinstall it. They were very friendly and a great company to work with! They rushed over to detach it even when plans for our new roof were rushed and we were panicked. Great company and great employees, very knowledgeable and skilled! We uses May Awning & Patio Co for our awning. We had gotten an estimate from a different place and they never called us back even after calling them to remind them... On the hunt again we called May, right away Dee took care of us, made an appointment to give us an estimate. went cheaper than the other place and followed through with what she said. I contact them to install a patio cover, Dee Moore came to my home and gave me an estimate, she was on time friendly and very professional, they have been in the business for a number of years, and you sure could tell.There prices was fantastic, and the Worker that came to install my patio cover definitely knew his job Stated that he has been doing this for over 15 years, and in no time at all they had a beautiful patio cover installed. I couldn’t ask for more the price the finished job it’s a wonderful place now to set and have a cup of coffee and watch my little dog run around and play. We got the run around by this company. Glass sunroom they estimated glass panel replacement for. When it came down to doing the work they said they couldn’t do it. They need to communicate amongst their staff maybe staff meeting may help.

We purchased a $5000 Clearview patio cover from May awnings less than 10 years ago, All the seams That join the Clearview panels have failed and now water leaks through onto my patio through my $5000 patio cover. I have contacted them and they have offered zero solution other than for me to purchase a new patio cover for $5800 and possibly deduct if they can still use our aluminum supports. Pretty crappy as I bought this patio cover to enjoy our patio and to beautify my home. sitting under it when its raining is ridiculous Im not sure why they cannot offer some sort of solution that would satisfy my investment, or at least a larger discount so I could afford to replace if this is the only solution. This company is the best! There is a reason that theyve been in business since the 60s, QUALITY. they offer nothing but the best quality products, construction, and service in the entire Northwest, hands down. I have both a patio cover and sunroom from them that we practically live in. The cover converted our boring and sun baked concrete patio into an outdoor oasis that is useable all year. I can literally grill all year and stay out of the elements. Id say that my patio is at least 15 degrees cooler on hot days than the temperature outside and it is always the gathering place for our family and friends. It is big, but worth every penny.Their sunrooms have the highest quality glass that money can buy, and they pay attention to the details all the way through construction. They were quick to come back to my house after construction was finished to fix something that I found not quite to my liking, it wasnt a big deal, but they made my issue theirs until it was solved.They are a family based company with the 3rd generation now working there. They acted like a family when all the workers were here, even though not all of them are, and made me feel like a part of that family with all the interactions we had. I highly recommend this company for all of your sun and shade needs!
