I have been to many piercing shops and Soulfire is the one that has made me feel the most welcome. They gave me feedback and recommendations on horrible piercings I got at a different shop and the actual piercing process was very quick, clean, and as comfortable as possiboe.

Shantelle was amazing. She figured out where to place my piercing - Id given myself very bad piercings in my youth - so that it looks amazing, and she gave GREAT jewelry advice. Im so pleased with the work she did and was grateful for her suggestions. She has enough experience to let people know what she thinks would work, but if they have their own ideas she lets them make their own choices too. Needless to say, I know enough to defer to the expert and am so glad I did! Will be back for more piercing and jewelry.

If you’re wondering where to go to get a piercing, this is THE place to go. Not only is Hall incredibly educated on every piercing he performs, he explains everything you’ll experience in so much detail that you feel so confident taking care of your new piercing while it’s healing. I also have to mention that the shop is super clean, and as a medical provider, he goes above and beyond with PPE and sterilization equipment. It’s something I noticed right away and it’s absolutely amazing that he goes way beyond the average shop for this kind of important stuff. It’s details like this that Hall prioritizes that reduced your chances of infection. They’re probably not required to take sanitation protocols to that level, but the fact that Soulfire does, sets them apart from most piercing shops I’d imagine too.This is the place to go if you’re considering a piercing, I highly, highly recommend Soulfire!

Thank you guys for being the only piercing shop to help me and sell me jewlery to just change out my nose ring! Every other shop just uses covid as an excuse to be lazy and not help anyone but yall came through and let me come down and practiced awesome covid safety precautions and sold me some badass jewlery and explained super clear how to change it out myself ! Got my conch pierced here about 5 months ago by Shauntelle and had a wonderful experience. She was friendly but serious and very talented.After about 4 months my conch was doing great until I switched the jewelry and got it snagged on something! I couldnt get it back in and it started to close up by the time I could make it back to the shop.Coming back in I was very well taken care of and my ear was reopened, my original jewelry put back in and even gave me a new can of saline. All free of charge!Im happy to say my conch is doing amazing now all thanks to this lovely shop.Ive been to many piercers and Soulfire has been my favorite. No plans on going anywhere else!

Great experience with Hale at Soulfire Body Piercing. Excellent pre-procedure discussion with our 9yo ... making it about her understanding, power, and consent and during the procedure talking her through the anticipation, staying calm and breathing, and acknowledging but easing the and brief pain. She was like a piercing-doula. They have a nice collection of jewelry with flat backs and various face applied studs. They provide unlimited aftercare support. The total was $130 plus tip. For the quality cleanliness and care of the experience it was worth it ... for us this was a rite of passage and it needed to be a positive one and a healthy one. Highest recommendation.

Awesome shop, super friendly staff! Ordered some custom jewelry that took a little while to come in because the manufacturer shipped the wrong metal originally, but Hall more than made up for it. Totally comped me for my wait time, which I appreciated! Went in, got pierced... again, awesome job! Had a little bit of anxiety due to a totally normal part of the process (just a part I hadnt experienced before) and Hall called me later that evening as well as the next day to follow up and make sure everything was going well. I totally appreciated the follow up. Its nice to get pierced by someone who is personable, and really wants to make sure you walk away happy with what you got. Ill definitely go back for anything in the future, and Id totally recommend them to anyone who asks. Thanks again, Hall for an awesome job!

If you want to see what a truly great piercing shop is, go to soulfire when they reopen! I got my septum pierced here a little over a year ago and have had no problems whatsoever despite notoriously difficult healing. I am out of town and had to go to another shop to have some jewelry put back in my daith piercing, and the whole experience couldnt hold a candle to soulfire and the way Hall runs his shop. This is what a piercing experience should be.

Had my nostril pierced by the apprentice, Hale and she did a perfect job!! Super personable and hygienic at this shop. Also very informative on aftercare. Theyve got a gorgeous selection of jewelry to choose from but offered to order if I had something more specific in mind.

The shop was so clean and had an amazing selection of jewelry. They were even able to change the titanium piece I chose, to a Rose Gold color I wanted, in minutes. Hall (the piercer) was helpful and the staff was more than accommodating. I felt very comfortable and confident getting a piercing done here and I will be back. I highly recommend this place!! Great people and great quality...all at a good price. By far my favorite piercing studio in Portland.

I had a pretty amazing positive time at Soulfire body Piercing and yes, the other reviews are spot on, this shop is beautiful, clean, great selection of jewelry and really personalized service I received tonight from the owner of the shop, Hall. I had a problem with my nose piercing and some cheap jewelry I had purchased online and he went above and beyond to help me fix the problem . I highly recommend this shop. Hall is really personable, friendly, open and great to talk to. Why go anywhere else?? Definitely worth the drive!
