The 2 employees that helped me today were fantastic. They had answers to all my questions and helped me solve a problem i had with sizing on my boots. Went threw 5 different pairs before i found the ones that will be best for me and my 12.5 hour days on my feet. Highly recommend this store.

Man do I love this place. First, Danner boots are awesome and wear well. Second, you can get factory seconds here for, give or take, half off. THIRD, THERE IS A CLEARANCE WALL where you can get NEW boots for $50-$150 per pair. I found multiple pairs in my size and got out of there with three new pairs for $150 total. WHAT A DEAL!!! Years of boots for a killer price. Now, the selection changes daily so you might have to visit it a few times but mark my words - you won’t regret it.I wish I knew about this place when I was broke. I could have saved a ton on cheap shoes and saved my feet from years of discomfort.10/10 would recommend to everyone.

I like their boots an wanted to buy some new ones. Took about 10 minutes to get someone to get me a pair. Spent another 10 or so trying to get someone so I could try a different size. Gave up and left the first ones they brought me by the registers. Didnt seem very busy, maybe having staffing issues.

If you want to get into the Danner eco system but dont have the cash to spend on brand new shoes, a visit here may be worth your time. On ocassion there will be certain shoes at discount due to quality/manufacutiring defects. Typically these are small and not very noticeable.Youll find a wider range of shoes here than the smaller tanusbourne location. The staff are friendly at both!

Im pretty sure my husband would be very mad at me if I gave this store 1 star. They have a large variety of hiking boots, military boots. Very good quality with a very nice GINORMOUS price tag.There were quite a few employees just standing around the check out counter gabbing with each other and not really noticing the customers. I did eventually have someone come up and ask if I needed a particular size.And of course my husband received help just fine. He ended up with a pair of nice quality boots. He is very happy with them.I ended up with some sketchers from Kohls... I wont go back, my husband can make that trip by himself next time.

Not like it used to be. In the past I would have given 4 maybe 5 stars. I’ve purchased the last 3 pairs of work boots from them over the last 10- ish years. I was there two weeks ago. It took over 30 minutes before anyone asked if I needed help. There was 3 employees just standing at the register talking to each other, with one employee helping people. I approached one with a boot to ask for help in getting a different size. They just walked off without acknowledging me. There was only 5 other customers in the store. By the time a person got to me I had no desire or really being there, they finally asked me if needed help, I asked for a size in two different boots. They went in doors then right back out and said no they don’t have that size. (I felt that they didn’t really look) I walked out without purchasing anything.

Best place for quality boots Im town. Friendly staff and amazing prices on factory defect boots. You cant go wrong with the Danner factory store.

Attractive prices, nice selection and a smile! Quality over quantity remains. it was hard to pick only one model :) I picked the Mountain600 the best mountain hiking boots. They’re super comfy they don’t hurt my feet even after loooong days of hiking!

What can I say? Ben and Daniel were amazing. As an EMT you never know when you’re getting off work. I was very glad to see that they were still open. Not only did they have my boots waiting for me. They also made sure I got some accessories too. It was a very good experience, Ben and Daniel and everyone in there were very professional and friendly and I will definitely be coming back to buy more boots.

I bought a pair of boots that did not fit right and after about a week I returned hoping they could repair them and they said to just pick out a new pair without any questions. Great quality boots and excellent service. I highly recommend Coming here for top quality boots.

Im a huge fan of danners but dont live near a store. Came to Portland on a trip and had to check it out! They have an extensive collection on display as well as well as a large discount section!

A little out of the way and their products are spendy, but its a great store with helpful staff and the footwear is durable and comfortable.

Top-tier products for work & play-work, hiking, mountaineering, river, or out & about town, Danner is the apex of shoes & apparel, whatever your needs may be. The staff is knowledgeable and friendlynot overbearingg nor pushy. Hip flagship factory store makes it shopping a very pleasant experience.

I work for UPS and the hiking boots are awesome to do some city hiking. Plus if your out of state like me then the no tax is a major plus.

He helped us find the right shoes and size and even stretched the shoes where I normally get pain. He also reassured my step-dad about his previous pair that werent as comfortable as expected. I returned hoping to potentially get it fixed, but it was still under warranty and without any effort was able to replace my shoes entirely. This is above expectations.

You wanna get a great pair of shoes by danner. Im on my feet between 12 and 18 hours A-day danner is the all ape shoes that is asked it up to a year and a 1/2 most other shoes that I get well last between a month to 2 months. The add dinner may be a little more expensive but they are worth a try to go and they have black Friday sales. I was in there today and they were having a sale on a pair of shoes . I picked up 2 pair $150 the store is conveniently located on airport way in Portland Oregon area or check out the website

My boyfriend, who is a plumber gets his work boots from here. Was a long line to get into the store when we came on a Saturday. They follow covid guidelines and maintain social distancing and limiting how many people can be in the store at once. Friendly staff and great quality work shoes.

The boots Ive wanted, Mountain Pass and Pub Garden - are never in a size 11 for women. I know there are more important things in the world, but Ive got sensitive narrow feet so I need good shoes and its so irritating when companies dont accommodate for tall women. Please make size 11 in all your shoes, not just some of them!! Id buy all your shoes if you did!

They tried to sell me a returned shoe with a stain on the shoe for full price. It looked used and the stain was some sort of oily texture. The guy was very rude and not caring.

I had a interview here for production position, I have 5 years experience in Warehouse production. They hired inexperienced person from office work person. They sure hired stupid people here. Let me tell you. You think he can stand 10 hours of work? And heavy lifting for 8 to 10 hours of work? Some people cant to this job. Its a lot of turn overs here.

I love Danner boots theyre made however the employees here dont care to help the customers and are rude. When I needed help with a bigger size certain employees love to give eye rolls.

Everytime we go in here we dont ever come out very satisfied. Not that it is bad but not the greatest. Kinda sad Danner purchased Whites. Hope they dont change them. Danner does not really produce that great of boots for the price.

These are my husbands boot of choice. He works for UPS and puts a lot of miles on boots. They have the longevity and quality he needs. We stopped by because the store sells the factory defects for a discounted price. He also got a union discount. The salesmen were super helpful in meeting his needs.

I just got danner scorch side zip 8 boots over the weekend talk about poor design there rubbing back of my foot raw. I mopped a lil area of water and got wet socks? What a joke I use to stand behind danner boots but this is my last pair what a waste of 130 bucks man what a joke I see why lot of stores are discontinuing there brand talk about falling off! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL WHAT A POOR QUALITY PRODUCT THEY SELL!

I bought Danners for 12 years now great boot but this last pair was the worst quality Ive ever had. I bought these about a year ago at this store and my feet were wet all fall and winter luckily Im a trucker and can dry the boots while I drive. Stick to the boots made in the USA they cost more but your feet will thank you. I might have to try Wesco or Keen.

The staff at this store are very nice, but Danner as a whole is not an inclusive company. Men’s sizes come in a variety of widths- from normal, wide, even to double wide. But women’s sizes are one width. Why does Danner insist on ignoring their female customers?My fiancé bought shoes at the factory store a few weeks ago and they are already starting to run apart on the toe. Overall, overpriced and paying for a brand name that no longer deserves the notoriety. There are better shoes.

I love Danners products! But as we all know, no matter where you shop customer service is what keeps you coming back or never returning. I have to give Kari huge kudos. I knew going in that I was going to need extra help. Kari did her best to help me find the correct size and fit in the style I needed. After finding some super comfy boots, I didn’t like that they had eyelets all the way up to the top. Since I was at the factory I asked if there was any way to have some of the eyelets changed out to hooks. She never said no to all my request. She also took the time to find out answers to all my questions. Thanks Kari! I love my boots and I appreciate your service!

I was shocked by the lack of customer service at this store. I wanted to buy a pair of boots for 380.00 dollars. I was open to 3 different styles of boots and a couple different colors, but they didnt have the right combination in their inventory. When asking for assistance the employees gave short responses and did not want to be bothered. Getting information was like pulling teeth. They couldnt tell me when new inventory would arrive and didnt offer to order what I wanted or anything.

Great staff, nice store and some good deals. Got a pair of boots for elk hunting and was super excited to get a smoking deal on factory seconds.Wife and kids found plenty of stuff too as they have a lot more than boots too...

You can get good deals on their clearance or seconds but you dont get a warranty on the latter. The staff their seems to be new or dont care about customer service. Theyll ask if you need help, but seem annoyed if you say yes. They act like theres something else they need to be doing and quickly run away. I had to ask for help 6 times... but the price was good. I love danners for work. If it wasnt for that I would never shop here.

Kenny patiently answered all of my questions, and assisted me in trying on countless pairs of boots until I found the perfect style and fit. My husband and I went here on a Saturday and were helped by a very nice woman named Kari. She was courteous, informative, professional and brought us exactly what we were searching for. It was a fantastic experience and we saved more money coming here than shopping online. The online store doesnt recognize our city for shipping for some odd reason, so we could not purchase the boots there. We are perfectly fine with that! Great service and store overall.

Great storefront where you can see the shoes being made. Great selection of boots for any occasion. The best part is probably their little obstacle course where you can try their shoes and see how they feel across different terrain styles. Really helpful staff and well organized storefront.

Today was my first time at this location, and I will continue to shop here specifically because I had such a wonderful person help me today. Kenny is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Danner products. I asked a TON of questions and can be very indecisive. He was more than patient with me and went above and beyond. He is a major asset to Danner! I rarely leave reviews, but Kenny deserves the credit. I left smiling. I will be back and will specifically recommend this location!

I have worn Danner boots for the last 25 years. Theyre my favs so I may be a little biased. First time visiting the Airport way store. Very nice. Nice selection. Special items and factory seconds. Saved a hundred bucks on my new boots there.

Really cool store! Pretty awesome to see some of the boots being made. Selection is good, basically everything on the website is in the store. My only complaint is no one greeted me or asked if I needed any help. I had to hunt an employee down to try on a pair of boots. With some help I think I would of purchased boots from them but in the end I choose to go elsewhere.

Great place to come find a pair of work boots. They provide great customer service here and will work with you to find a pair of boots that will work for you. The one thing I wasn’t very happy with is the lack of sales/discounts. Other retailers have cheaper prices which shouldn’t be the case since this store specializes in danner products.

Drove 1 hour in traffic to pick up last pair of boots i was told by the tannasbourne store that they had boots in my size . I get to this store and they had one pair left but was told they were reserved for someone else . I use to wear danner only . After all that driving I took my money to red wing I guess me and my crew will wear red wing . Still love the danner boot just terrible service very upsetting . Well red wing sold me and my co workers 6 pairs of boots ....

If you love high quality boots from hiking all the way to heavy safety boots, these guys have it. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Just remember that Danner is a top tier boot so dont be surprised at the prices. I usually buy a pair of work boots from them once every 4 years. I drive truck in all lower 48 and have never had one of their boots so much as dampen my feet even when chaining up in heavy snow or walking through a flooded yard. I cant say enough about the quality of their product.

The man in the front was nice an informative but there was this one employee that was secret shopping me, and the cashier was a grumpy. As for the selection, couldnt be better.

We were greeted right away by friendly, and helpful sales staff. They seemed happy to be there and made us feel welcome the minute we walked in the door. We found the boots we came in for, and at the register the life time warranty was explained. Danner makes a great boot, and they stand behind their products. Overall, pleasant experience.

The place to go for boots and other footwear. Huge selection. Smaller and larger sizes available. I wear a 7.5, and lots of places just dont carry them. Or a very small selection. A very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend this establishment

My first pair I bought as an active duty marine. I still love these boots. The outlet store is great, you get the opportunity to buy great boots at a lower price because they have a stitch out of place or something (factory seconds). If you want the perfect ones they sell those as well for more money. I mean lots of great boots in the United States, Red Wings, Georgias, etc. To me these are local, they are made here, and Im happy to vote with my dollars for them to stay local and help me make it through my work day to earn another buck or two. Beats the heck out of spending your money on stupid foot wear like Jordans. I mean at least these actually have a function 🤣 .

On a busy Saturday we were asked if we needed assistance within 5 min of walking in. My husband told him of his one side is 15 & the other is 14. Details to style & preferences settled the guy excused himself then came right back with 2 pairs of boots. The second pair were perfect all around. Purchased & left store in under 25 minutes. Yay!!!
