Ive gotta admit, theyve got some cool designs, but the good news ends there. The gear is wildly overpriced and poor quality, and the customer service is non-existent. My tent poles snapped the first time I took my tent out. I tried emailing, calling, and instagramming them, and never heard back. Id like to support smaller, local businesses, but you should probably save your money and just go with REI.Will update if I hear back, but its been a few weeks already so Im not holding my breath.
I don’t want to give any STAR!!! There is AWEFUL company. If you buy anything poler stuff and there is a problem with the item, this company will be ignoring you!
Great products, bought a backpack, hat & beanies!
What a fun original shop with unique gear/ clothing.
Not sure what happened to Poler, but it looks like they got bought out after bankruptcy, and now they have some decidedly sketchy things going on. I ordered a sleeping bag (meant to get the poncho - my fault), and went to exchange it. Turns out you have to read the popup terms and conditions (like, you have to open the terms and condition link that no sane person reads) to find out that if you used a coupon code (like the 10% off for getting your phone number) or if the item was on sale, you cant return it. Now, they said this is true from Nov-Jan, but whatever, you cant bury stuff like that. Youre very obviously hiding it, and thats considered a dark pattern. I would advise staying away from a company that went into bankruptcy, emerged after getting bought by a holding company (I did some research), and then pulls stuff like this. If you once had a positive opinion of Poler, this is not the same company. Also, dont bother paying for 2-day shipping - it means nothing.
If you know you know. This is a must stop spot in The Pearl. Polers flagship store couldnt be more rad. From the custom Camp Vibes surfboard to the moto bike nestled up on a platform, the stores layout definitely drops you right into an endless number of adventures. The product alone is enough of a draw for me but beyond that Poler has done an exceptional job designing this space into an inspiring retail destination. Big ups to the team and their efforts. The employees are super knowledgable and genuinely helpful.Keep up the good times and camp vibes Poler!
The young man inside was very helpful.
I love the Poler Flagship store. More selection and better prices than online. Seasonal stock and sales make a visit always worthwhile. Best of all is the quality you get for the price. Theyve got that quirky vibe that fits the NW so well. One of my favorite stores. Staff has always been really friendly and helpful, too.
Staff was extremely polite and helpful in giving me a tour of the store. I poked around for a bit and ended up finding a new coat to take home with me. While the signage was a little confusing in relation to how sales worked in the store, pricing was still competitive however. Super cool place!
Great place for camping gear and also general Portland gear. They have huge end of season sales which I was lucky enough to partake in where the hats and backpacks were 40%-60% off!Great store and helpful staff
Good Poler selection. Wait for a sale. Make sure you look at their online store. They will honor sales items on their site even it’s not listed in the store.
Poor quality stitching on nearly everything I have purchased. The camping gear is only good for a single night out at a festival. Shop here if you want to look like you enjoy the outdoors but you dont actually like going outside.
This is a great story to visit. Good solid outdoor products with a different vibe. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Lots of fun.
I love Poler, so it was cool to go to the flagship store. Super cool vibes, great layout, awesome product, some great clearance items, and wonderful customer service! Win-win in my book.
Bought a shirt from their website. Received it, washed it, went to put it on and it ripped instantly, leaving a 2 inch tear in the front next to one of the buttons. I mean, cmon. I have bought clothes that cost one fifth the price of this shirt and they were better made. Absolute garbage. Save your money and shop elsewhere. Also, still havent heard from their customer service and I contacted them two days ago.
The HQ location CLOSED until sometime 2019. They have all the windows papered up and a sign on their door that reads: “The Poler Stuff store is under reconstruction, see you in 2019”. There is no information on when in 2019 though. It would have been nice to know more information from them about the store being closed- i.e. a closed for business until 2019 message in their voicemail, on their google listing, on their yelp page, and Facebook. Maybe smoke signals are more their style. Any how they such an active customer base you would have thought they would have let them know something and kept them in the loop a bit more. It’s a little disappointing. So we drove from Seattle to find a closed store but on the bright side- we made up for it by traveling on, to the beach.See you in 2019 Poler Stuff.
Falls somewhere between camping and skate apparel. Some nice collaborations with other companies and quality has been impressive so far. Online sales prices not always the same in the store.
Pretty cool shop! Ive been enjoying watching their brand blow up for a while and it was cool to see it in their home town. Nice concept store.
Really cool, quirky products! And the two guys working there when I went in were super friendly!
Great quality clothes and outdoor gear. The staff are super helpful and responsive to customer concerns.
Great unique items, nice personable staff, plus adorable friendly dog! One of my favorite stores in Portland!
Such a fun space. The clothing is also very cool, and perfect for the outdoors.
Camp vibes!! Coolest camp store ever. They dont have everything you might need, but what they have is stylish and unique!
Very excited to have run into this Store in Portland. Found all my favorite items.
One of my favorite outdoor stores. Love the Poler brand and lifestyle.
Bought backpack at warehouse sale. The should strap frayed and tore off of pack. Trim on flap also freighted. All of this happened less than 45 days of use by my son. Store wouldnt replace it. Customer service not very responsive. Clearly defective product.
Hipster garbage .. if you camp for real avoid this stuff. But you will look good drinking your 14 dollar cocktail at your local watering hole .
Great outdoors fashion store, with a hipster vibe and fun layout.
Really cool shop with very decent prices on cool outdoor stuff.
Its a nice store with pricey, granola backpacks and outdoorsy type of things.
Great product. I high fived a guy here and got free Stance x Poler socks.
Excellent happy hour - 3 cocktails for $3 and 3 snacks for $3.
Expensive camping stuff in a cool retail atmosphere.
Very cool products and a knowledgeable staff. Hard to not buy everything you see in there.
Professional, unique, and excellent staff. Three thumbs up.
Great outdoor products for stylish campers and travelers
Quality outdoor gear and various styles. Check them out.
Called to ask if they bought stuff because Google maps listed them under the search buy stuff and the guy just hung up on me with no words. Rude AF
Flagship store, feature modern camping equipment and clothing.
Wow, great staff, amazing layout and chill vibe
Awesome merchandise and reasonable prices.
Its almost impossible to find their products in NE, totally worth the stopping here!

An outdoor brand from Portland that is popular in Japan and was born with the concept of feel free to enjoy nature. Famous products are sleeping bags that you can wear, and the wacky knapsack.11: 00-19: 00, 7 days a week
Head office of outdoor brand from Portland. Recently, backpacks have been gradually seen in Japan. Backpacks are rich in color variations. Price is high, but Portland has no consumption tax! Apparel, camping equipment, everything is cute!
There are not many items, but it was good to be able to purchase very cheaply as all of Polarer products are on sale at 30%.
We have a lot of cute outdoor goods.
Portland is an area without consumption tax, and if you buy it locally and carry it to Japan, there is no import duty, so as a result, you can get a backpack at less than 1/3 of the price you buy in Japan!
The stage of Gravity Falls is Oregon. A mark like a building (laughs)
Lots of cute gear and apparel.
