As far as Gamestops go, this one is legit. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and they take the time to chat about geeky gamer stuff. Glad this location is near my new home.

One of the better GameStops I have been to. Nice staff. Military discounts. Plenty of parking. Close to the bus and Fred Meyers. The store felt clean.

My experience at GameStop was not good because I tried to trade in my PS4 system and we went through all the processes and everything worked correctly but I couldnt trade it in because their machine would not read my thumbprint so I had to pack my PlayStation 4 up and everything and take it back home and that was the only thing that got in my way the thumb reader would not work

Only gonna give 4 stars, great place, normally always have what your looking for. The girls at the counter are really nice but super seriously pushy when your just trying to buy a game and they seem to find 100 different ways to ask if you want to sign up for their gaming services. I literally had to tell the lady all I wanted was the game like 4 times no joke. If I say no thank you I just want to purchase the game and you keep hitting me with the but if you sign up with us today well give you... naugh aint trying to hear it. Just the Game means just the game thank you!

I do not know her name but the woman with the blonde hair has absolute terrible customer service. These people will have you waiting in line while they chat up a storm with their friends and coworkers, only to finally brush you off and try giving you half-offers while you are walking out the door. Coming in here, I feel like an absolute inconvenience to these people and their time. I don’t even feel like a customer I feel like a beggar just trying to get a simple answer from this lady. Online shopping just gets easier and easier.

Very nice and helpful staff. Even gave me tips for taking care of my new controller after I mentioned it was to replace a three year old controller with joystick troubles.

The manager was working on this shift she made that clear. Her and the 2 employees were very rude, basically kept telling me everything was out of stock when it was right in front on the shelves. Seemed like they just wanted to be lazy and give people a hard time. Set up curbside pickup for the items that were in stock at that store, was going to pay when I got there and they refused me service once they saw it was me. They proceeded to tell me they were out of stock of the items when the website told me the pickup was ready. Clearly a staff team of degenerates that dont understand the basics of customer service. Pick any other gamestop but this one, seems like theyll make anything a hassle.

Worker was useless..just go to the freddys its basically in the same parking lot and they have better customer service.

When we arrived at the store it was locked and had a sign that said he would return in 15 minutes. We waited 20 and when he did finally show up about 10 other people followed me in so we wwrnt the only ones waiting.

I went in around an hour before closing (8pm ish). They had 2 staff working, and there was one other customer in the store besides myself. The staff were attentive but not pushy, and when they realized the other person wanted to talk in-depth about some games, the more knowledgeable of the two started a conversation with the guy while doing some inventory. I was impressed with the staff, being attentive to customers as well as actually doing work as well. As a result the store was well stocked and well organized. Good job two Employees whoever you were.

They had like, 5 tickets for an xbox series x preorder. I stood in line for like 20 minutes for nothing. I mean, I wasnt going to preorder one because I dont play on console I was just there to see my friend be disappointed yet again by a failing business model. This company really needs to be held accountable for ruining great video game stores like Funcoland, Babages and EB Games. Lets not forget ThinkGeek.com how the hell did you manage to ruin think geek? Just completely obliterated it.

Michelle was a rockstar! She was very knowledgable about her favorite games, and even ones that she hadnt played herself. She helped me find my new favorite game, saved some money by helping me find it used (which was important to me), and mentioned to me how much more I could save with the power up rewards. It was a great experience and Ill definitely be back.

You cant get anyone on the phone and it just hangs up on you with a prerecorded message telling you to call back. What horrible customer service and phone system.

This is one of my favorite non-SW Washington locations. The store is cozy, mostly always tidy (unless theres a shopping frenzy aftermath and those can be inevitable in retail), very friendly employees and management. Great location at the old Gateway Shopping Center, close to other shopping, restaurants and also a large grocery store and a supermarket.

Their front line customer service is their phone. You do not get put on hold or get to leave a voicemail. You just simply get hung up on. This was a GameStop that advertised they were open. During a time of pandemic and quarantine I would expect customer service over the phone to be upscaled instead I experienced customer disservice. All I wanted to do was to ask if they had any controllers in stock. Never have I been so infuriated by a complete lack of customer service in my life. Thanks Gamestop.

The workers were really sweet and funny. They really made my day a lot better. You dont even have to know anything about games honestly. Theyre all just really welcoming and laid back.

The manger Erica is the sweetest person in this store. She was so kind and helpful and recommended two new games to be that I had never played and ended up loving! GameStop stores are never really on the top of my list but I shop at this one because Erica is awesome and I always appreciate wonderful customer service!

Forrest is the absolute best. I literally come here for Forrest. He always remember the kinds of I collect and the games I play and usually has something cool to show me. I dont really run into him here as often which bums me out.

Great place to buy used games. The new games are a little pricey . The Employees help to find you good deals. They are also family friendly.

There site says the have multiple xbox one available for purchase so i drove 45 minutes to there store after i called to confirm they were still available and they said yes but when i arrived they told me someone 6 hours prior reserved all the xbox ones?? I called and left right away from when i asked i will not be going to game stop anymore for any purchase lost me as a customer fix your online site and your employees should check before they say they have xboxes available i can guaranty they just looked at there shelf when i asked but they never looked on there inventory from the computer that just being lazy and rude

Fair prices and had the games I wanted. I do wish they gave more money for trade-ins but I understand that they have to make money too. Btw customer service was nice.

Kinda run down and poor selection of 3ds games

It was alright but the way the store was set up made it highly inconvenient for me to shop with my baby in the stroller and my 2 kids. If the shop was set up better Id give the nice employees a 5. Sweetest girls and guys.

Fast & easy pick after ordering online

Terrible service at this location. The fat girl working inside just stared at me through the glass and would not acknowledge my presence. Then she sat on the floor and pretended I was not there. Im not sure what she was doing or what the management was doing, but I guess terrible service is par for GameStop...

Great experience and great help although I asked if my used Xbox would come with an hdmi chord and he said it would come with everything I need and when I opened the box no hdmi chord :( or controller batteries so I had to go to rite aid to get them. Literally had over 40 people wait in line for new consoles, everyone already had tickets to save there console for purchase. After 3 hours of waiting and only checking out 8 consoles in that whole time, they tell everyone they are out of stock. After 3 hours in the cold I have nothing to show for it, no coupon or anything. AVOID GAMESTOP AT GATEWAY.

Most if not all GAMESTOP locations are helpful with current generation consoles ONLY no complaints here my friends go more often than me and I share my PRO CARD with my best friend because he goes so often and I go every now and then

Yes, I WAS spending a couple hundred bucks... But the employees were SUPER helpful and knowledgeable too. Really. For a dad buying his teens a system for Christmas after doing just minimal research, it was a great experience.

Helpful staff, great availability and pretty good prices. People say gamestop is bad for trading in games or that they dont lower prices too much but be realistic and think, theyre not gonna drop prices if nobody else is. Theyre not gonna give you full price for a game thats over a year old, its based off if people are buying the game a lot and what them giving you money back will do to their own money. Dont just think its a bad place, its good for what it does.

The customer service I received was awesome. I had a list of things I needed done and the rep (forgot his name) didnt complain a bit even when his co-workers left him their alone. Much respect and I will be back for future purchases.

She is the reason I write this review for a store that is otherwise a standard GameStop. And in Portland, which has more than a few GameStops, this is by far my favorite due to her kindness.

Was in here today to pick up a game for my 6yr old son. Today is his birthday. I walked in. There was one employee working. She’s on the phone. As soon as she got off the phone I asked the other costumer that was in the store if they were next (just being polite). The lady said yes but that they (her kids were there too) were still shopping. Okay. I know exactly what I want. The employee proceeds to ignore me and so I’m patient. Finally she says “you know what you want?” So I tell her exactly what I want and she just goes back to doing something else. Okay. So I could go into more detail. But I won’t. I think you get the picture. So I call around and find what I’m looking for somewhere else. I will never spend my time or energy dealing with this location ever again. Erica. Your lack of awareness and forthought wasn’t appreciated. I thought for a second that what you did was diliberate.

Most gamestops are just ok, you come across some nice employees. But the girl here (I want to say she was the manager?). She was suuuuper friendly and down to earth. She was funny and fun to talk to. Probally my new favorite gamestop. The rest of the employees are pretty great too. But i interact with this one the most. Wish I remembered her name but I forget names a lot lol. If you need to go into a gamestop and dont like going cuss of the service, then I recommend this one, great people.

Place is a sh*t show. Employees didn’t want to be there and could t find anything cause place is t organized. Many customer were talked into different games cause they couldn’t find games they were supposed to have. Manager could of helped expedite checkout but that would mean she’d have to stop chit chatting longer then 5 seconds.

While Im not a fan of Gamestops employment practices, the employees here are great. Friendly and informed, passionate about gaming. Theyre underpaid and have ridiculous sales expectations, I wont be sad when Gamestop becomes obsolete. The staff should get 5 stars for themselves, but I cant give a company that makes employees work on holidays and pays barely above minimum wage a perfect rating.

They still sell PS Vita games even though no other GameStop does. It was nice to see those on shelves again.

Neato place, the staff was really helpful. I for real came in for an HDMI cord and they explained to me where I could find better ones at a better price, while selling me what I needed and telling me about cool games that I may be interested in.
