People working here are the best, and I MEAN IT. In a few occasions shopping here, I had some of the nicest conversations with them. This speaks volume because even though this is a rather touristy location, these folks are so friendly and genuine, they treat every customer–strangers–like a neighbor; they are warm, jolly and helpful, perfectly encapsulating what I see as the soul of this city.Bridge & Burn is a Portland local brand with its root in the pacific north west and a casual yet functional design. This flagship store also carries some stuff from other brands as well as a well curated collection of home goods. I have always enjoyed shopping here and every time I get something, I cant wait to wear it the next day :D
I liked it so much had to go back and pick up a few more pieces. It was a shop I stumbled upon. I look forward to my next visit
I got a gift for my boyfriend here. The cashier was so nice and wrapped my gift with great care. I really appreciate that.
A long-running locally owned portland shop and label. ❤️
Never received the other half of my order, and never heard back from customer support. Worse yet, the cap I purchased was at least twice the price of what it should have been once I looked at the quality. The waxing job is terrible, the sizing rivet is huge and uncomfortable, and the material is so thin that when held up to the light, you can see how porous it is. Worse than any of this, the company has hidden my poor review from its site.Buy from Bridge and Burn at your own risk. You’ll be paying Filson prices for one step above Walmart quality — and any negative reviews of their product won’t make it to the eyes of prospective customers.
All sales are final. NO RETURNS, NO REFUNDS. I got burned by Bridge & Burn.
I live in Seattle, up I5 from Portland. I found some Bridge and Burn clothes at Nordstrom. The quality of the Monroe blazer jacket really surprised me! The stitching and fabric is really well done! I was looking for a hybrid travel blazer jacket that was cotton and machine washable for a very long time. Thanks B and B, you got a new fan in Seattle.
I first found Bridge and Burn Pants in a cool store in Seattle but then discovered their full range in the online store. Several pair of well fitting pants, cool tees and one of my favorite shirts later Im hooked! Cool fabrics, great fit and then to top it off they sorted out an issue for me with grace and goodwill, going the extra mile to ensure all was well. This is a class company and theyre local too! If I sound like a super fan its because I am. Great product and great customer service. 5 stars, more if I could!
I had been watching the clothing on Bridge & Burns Instagram feed for months. When their winter sale arrived, I excitedly bought two shirts and the Chelan sweater in the gorgeous rust color. To my dismay, one of the shirts was really long, but with super short sleeves. It clearly said on the website since Id gotten it on sale I couldnt return it, but had to exchange it. I Emailed the address given on the website and immediately returned the item. Four days later, still no response to my Email requesting to return it. So, I call and the woman who answers the phone is super friendly and explains she cant exchange the shirt (which shed already received) until she hears from the person who manages the Email responses. I patiently wait a couple more days and finally send another Email. Two days after that, I finally send one more Email, now extremely frustrated at getting no response. The Email I got told me that I couldnt exchange the items. I also explained that the sweater I had gotten was pilling like crazy and looked awful after only one day of wear. I sent a picture along with it and said I was dismayed to learn it was dry clean only and made in China. None of this was on the website, which led me to believe I was supporting a Portland-based business with what I (mistakenly) assumed were locally or at least US made products. Super cheap clothing with horrible customer service and no ties to Portland whatsoever other than a clever name and a few t-shirts. Do not be fooled. Save your money and buy quality clothing elsewhere at a reputable business. You will also see that the reviews I attempted to leave on their website, via their review manager site judgeme are hidden from customers. A completely disreputable business.
I purchased the Sitka Jacket over a year ago, I love it! Looks great and keeps me warm in our cold Wisconsin Winters. I have to applaud Bridge and Burn on their customer service. I ended up with a tear in the stitching and even though it had been over a year since I had purchased the jacket, I thought I would take a chance and contact support. What I expected was, we are sorry but there is nothing we can do.. Instead a Bridge and Burn rep named Anna contacted me, said she was very sorry for the rip and offered to either reimburse me for a tailor, or pay for shipping and repair it themselves. I chose to send it out to Portland, Anna sent me a prepaid shipping label and once the jacket was repaired, I received it in two days. The jacket is good as new! I am now a customer for life!
Really cool shop with great local brands including their own. 100% worth a browse if youre in the area
Coming from NY- I had been following Bridge & Burn for a while before actually making it there. I was glad I made it. They were welcoming and nice. You can tell they really care about their company. I will definitely be back for more when Im in Portland again.
Beautiful, high-quality clothing priced fairly. The store is very clean and the vibes are good. I hope to be back many times
Great store, great staff, great styles. I really like their clean designs and modern fit. Bridge & Burn has made some of my favorite shirts for both the office and afterwards. Add to that a friendly and knowledgable staff and Id recommend Bridge & Burn to anyone.
Beautiful store presentation and very nice quality of apparel
Unless this has been updated recently, the store hasnt been open on Sunday. It shows limited hours on Sunday, but when we have gone it said closed on Sundays.
Expensive for Chinese-made stuff. They dont accept returns (only exchanges).
Great products and prices
