This Columbia Sportswear is a great store. It was extremely clean, organized, and well-kept. The had a good selection of many outdoor clothing types, such as coats, jackets, pants, shoes, boots, hats, etc. The staff was very warm and helpful. The prices are a bit outrageous, but the quality is sure. Good place to go if youre looking for good items that will last.

Liam was so over the top amazing. He let me know about all of the most recent promotions and deals going on throughout the store and answered all of my questions. He was outstanding.

Quality of Columbia products has become worse than before! Recently I purchased Mens Post Canyon Interchange Jacket online from Columbia website using merchandise credit which I got from the warranty claim for my Mens Wild Card Interchange Jacket (L) that I had to return as feathers were coming out from the inner down jacket within a year of purchasing that jacket! This jacket is not that much warm - cant even stand against 5-10 degree F. Moreover the sleeves of the inner jacket are too long and the elastic at the cuff is also too loose and of no use at all! And the jacket seemed like an old/used one which I got! Before purchasing this one, I tried two more jackets - Mens Lhotse III Interchange jacket (M) and Mens Horizons Pine Interchange jacket (L) both of which have the same sleeve problem with inner jacket - too long and dont even have any elastic at the wrist! Hence ended with returning both the jackets and had to pay $6.00 as return fee! Moreover, I am 5ft 8.5in and 187 lbs approx. I usually wear standard M size of other reputed brands and fits perfectly fine, but with Columbia, M is too snug for me (sleeve is too long though) and L is pretty large. I purchased the Post Canyon jacket on Winter Sale offer at $239.00. And just a day after my product got delivered, the price of the product reduced to $179.00. Columbia doesnt even offer a price match guarantee which usually every other reputed brand provides. Return policy is also bad! Lessons learnt with Columbia. Made a big mistake by purchasing my first jacket (Wild Card Interchange Jacket) from Columbia because for that only I was bound to take the next one from here as they refund only through merchandise credit for warranty claim. I wish I could have returned this one also but not ready to pay $6 again. And packaging is also poor! They deliver the products in shabby and dirty packaging! Such a reputed brand but I could not find one single aspect till date which can establish the reason for their reputation! Highly disappointing and frustrating experience! Will never purchase any jacket from this brand! Not recommended.

I needed to exchange an online order for a different size. When I called to ask if they have the item in the size I was looking for, they didn’t mind checking for me. When I went in to do the exchange, everyone was super helpful and even showed me where to find the item. Couldn’t be happier! Thanks everyone!

I bought a brand new Columbia 55 l camping backpack how are you paid $165 he was very good quality and a very very nice camping backpack and I bought Columbia warm waterproof and insulated titanium boots$ 145 bucks and theyre very comfortable and theyre very warm and you dont slip when youre on the wet surface thanks you guys have very good stuff I appreciate your business

Unfortunately didnt have what I needed in stock.. but the guys up there were very knowledgeable and super friendly. they also have the Harmon kardon onix studio 4 Bluetooth speaker on sale for 100 bucks, a 500 dollar speaker! go get them while you can!

What can you say when you have a store that has the best outer and inner wear for any occasion

I have been using Colombia Sportswear products for almost 3 years and have never been let down. Visited this store to buy a winter jacket but couldnt find one. The staff was very helpful though and helped me pick a new pair of boots. While quite expensive, these products are worth the money because they last a long time and are top notch products. I would recommend buying from here, you will not be disappointed.

I love the selection of clothes and gear here. The process are reasonable and they always have sales, even on my favorite bands of shoes, Sorel.

I went in this last week and had some of the absolute best customer service experience in a very long time. I was helped by Ben when I was picking out a jacket. He was very knowledgeable about everything the had on the floor. When I went to pick out shoes and some socks I was helped by Justin, he too was very knowledgeable about what was in his department. He was able to show several styles and even suggest a pair that I hadnt looked at and ended up buying.

Columbia sportswear is as well known as the New England Patriots and this is their flagship store. If you want to stay warm, dry, comfortable, or wick away perspiration, this is where you go. Why only 4 stars? It would be nice if they had a better selection of X sizes.

Cool store, never been to a Columbia specific store. Things were quite expensive though given comparable products like Patagonia or other outdoor gear that is made more sustainably and known for a better brand reputation

Staff are nice and helpful. Good selection of outdoor clothing and shoes (including some great waterproof hiking and running shoes). The prices can be a bit high on some items, but I have enjoyed the quality and durability of various Columbia items Ive purchased so it seems to be worth it.

Excellent service. I came in during my lunch break and had a few minutes because I had to get back to my session. The sales associate stayed with me to make sure I found something to wear. I was cold and my luggage did not make it so I needed something appropriate to wear to my session that would keep me warm. When I tried them on and they fit she came eith scissors to help cut the tags off and ring me up so I could get to my session right away.

Nice outdoor gear store in downtown Portland. We were tourists visiting town and love Columbia clothing and gear. Staff was friendly and answered questions. However, we didnt buy anything since we didnt find a good bargain or something we couldnt live without. We enjoyed our visit to the flagship store. Check it out! Who knows...you might bump into Gert Boyle, Chairman of Columbia. Advertising says she is one Tough Mother! Her father founded Columbia Sportswear after fleeing Natzi controlled Germany.

Wish it had more plus size gear for us curvy ladies but still a very nice store. You can at least figure out what size you are and then order online from a wider selection. Staff was super helpful though!

I love Columbia Sportswear products and own a ton of them. However, I have never purchased a single item at this store. This location specializes in catering to the Downtown tourist market that is more interested in a shopping experience than finding a good deal. Do yourself a favor and visit the Columbia Outlet Store instead. There is one in Sellwood and another in Lake Oswego. The same jackets and shoes that go for $200 at the Downtown store can often be found for $30 or $40 at the outlets.

Bought an omni heat coat from here. Love it and wear it every day in Oregon. Great fitting coats for men and women. Great place to look for cheap hiking boots.

Deceptive advertising. I just spent $240 at the LO outlet. It was my understanding that there was a $30 discount on amounts spent over $150. It turns out that the discount was an on-line card that could only be used during a period Im out of the county.The staff would not make any accommodation for the fact that I wouldnt be able to use the card. Im very annoyed. I will not shop at Columbia again.
