The woman we worked with was honest, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful in helping me find the perfect pair of dance shoes. Not pushy but offered great advice and was very patient and down to earth. Great selection of styles and sizes- not just shoes, but also outfits and accessories for all your dancing needs. My wife and I recently began taking classes and private lessons in Argentine Tango. The Glass Slipper was one of two places recommended for appropriate footwear, so I was aware that when we got a chance, wed need to figure out where these places were. Then one day, while driving East on NE Broadway toward home, there it was. Had to be the right place since the sign plainly read Dance Shoes. It wasnt obvious where to park, so we parked on one of the side streets off the North side of Broadway, crossed at NE 30th Ave, and walked the short distance to the store. Its a small space, but they not only had a great selection (including for Men!), but we received excellent assistance from the person working there. Fortunately, it was not busy. We both came home with our dance shoes, and my wife may be going back for an additional color. Check the prices on the website (these shoes arent exactly cheap). Its amusing that this place is so close to where we live. The only regular shoe stores in our area are for women only.
