Great location with lots of space inside and outside (covered). A great contrast to the cramped and temporary feel of most Portland Cafes. Food and coffee tasted great! Staff was nice and we didnt have to wait long in spite of the line out the door to get in to order at the counter. Well be coming back, for sure ;)
Quiche, croissants, mouth-watering apple pie (seasonal) and changing selection of bakery goods. Delicious breakfast and lunch items, all graciously served. Even with masks, you can tell the folks are smiling.
I just happened upon this gem and was so pleased with my experience. The breads were amazing and the staff was so polite. We were helped by a young lady named Savanna, I believe and she was so awesome and helpful. Will definitely be backJill
Its the PERFECT neighborhood spot, meeting spot, chilling spot its all the spots. I wish that the before time hamentash makes a return but otherwise A
What a wonderful place! This cafe has a little of everything. We came in for a quick coffee, chatted it up a bit then found ourselves hungry. We decided to get some of the baked goods for an early lunch and it was pretty good. The flavors in my pastry was full and went perfectly with my coffee. The shop is pretty spread out, so you can have a conversation at a comfortable tone. I would definitely recommend this beautiful cafe to my family and friends!
Simply the most decadent pastry in Portland. Their flavors are excellent. Everything on the menu including the bread is expertly prepared
Always great service, lovely atmosphere w/ tables inside and out on their huge patio. The breakfasts and lunches are wonderful combinations. But the pasteries! They are beautiful & always to die for delicious! Did I mention their breads...
Friendly staff went above and beyond!! Great coffee and pastries. Great local spot with a cool vibe!!
Fleur de Lis has terrible service rendered by rude people behind the register. I understand having a bad day and Im not holding one curt exchange against anyone; however it has been my experience during every single one of my half dozen or so visits to Fleur de Lis.The pastries are good though nothing to write home about. Unless youre like me and live walking distance I would skip this one.
I dont want to talk this place up too much or otherwise there will be too many people coming to it. I have been coming here in the mornings for years. They have the best scones I have found anywhere, and their coffee is robust. When they had to shut down for a little while because of Covid, I really missed being able to go there.
Great pastries. Breakfast preparation is slow.
Great cinnamon rolls, babka, multi-grain bread—everything! Local baker Greg Mistell trained in Europe. They don’t get any better!
Fun fact the owner and baker once represented the United States at the baking olympics. A consistently top tier establishment with outstanding pastries, coffee, and sandwiches.
Great community café with outstanding bakery items. A great place to find a perfect and classic French baguette.
Very cute place, but the workers are very rude to us my friend forgot a mask and one of the girls rudely asked if she needs one we said yea and the other waiter girl in annoyed voice said we have it posted everywhere you need to have one. Definitely won’t be coming back very bad service I have seen in the past year from anyone even with everything going on
Dont bother with this place. The staff were a couple of petty girls who didnt care to provide good customer service. The expensive sandwich I ordered was barely filled. The bread was toasted and unmemorable.
We were in the neighborhood and looking for a spot to sit and have a coffee and snack. This building was the Hollywood library in a past life, Nice and roomy, with views of the passing traffic and a cool outdoor seating spot.3 stars? Our drinks were a soy latte and a kids hot chocolate. Which are recommended to be served at below 200 degrees. Both came out super hot. Ended up adding cooling liquid to both.
Fleur De Lis is awesome. First off, their breakfast on the weekends is awesome (pre-Covid and when open). Love biking down there with the family and enjoying brunch. Their pastries and breakfast items are delicious. Greg was also awesome when I needed rolls for making Cuban sandwiches. He replied to my email promptly and after a brief conversation baked me exactly what I wanted for a great price. Glad to have this little gem in the neighborhood.
Great spot for baked goods, lunch and coffee!
Great bakery. Be prepared to wait a little while, they get busy.
Always enjoy my pastries here. The mochabi ordered was very bitter. Glad the patio seating is open.
Croissants are perfrct..buttery, flakey...Cafe au last too!!
My lady has eaten here before but this was my first time today, she ordered both croissant and biscuit breakfast sandwiches, blueberry muffins, chocolate croissants, and cinnamon rolls. They were all absolutely amazing and hands down the best I’ve ever had. I’m not much of a croissant eater but these ones were outstanding and we will definitely be back again. Much thanks for the outstanding grub, keep up the great work y’all!!!
Permanently closed. Have not updated their google info. Do not waste your time driving here.
I always order too many pastries when I go here because theyre all so good. The cranberry scones are bursting with flavor, the pumpkin muffins are super moist, the cinnamon rolls have lots of yummy layers, and the almond croissants are flaky and delicious. This is all in addition to the egg sandwiches we always get to fuel us for hiking!
The most delicious croissants pastries and breakfast sandwiches in town. Always friendly, helpful staff and delicious food. Been here several times and always impressed.
Fleur De Lis bakery is a great place for breakfast or lunch. Though a covid-forced limited menu, what they do serve is delicious. The avocado BLT sandwich and seasonal salad were especially good. And the very nice counter staff person was friendly and very helpful - a delight! I plan to visit there often.
Poor customer service and mediocre food.
Great place to take our daughter after school for a snack while we go over her homework. Thank you!
Absolutely delicious! Its the kind of place you want to have a special coffee date, an everyday get together or a a darn good cup of coffee! Cinnamon roll is a must have! Level up with a pat of butter!
Fleur De Lis is the perfect neighborhood bakery. Beautiful, tasty, flaky pastries. Thoughtfully prepared delicious breakfast options. Simple and functional decor plus outdoor seating. Live acoustic guitar on weekends. Family friendly and very good service. Excellent coffee. Couldnt ask for a better spot for our breakfast walks.
Excellent food and overall outstanding experience!!
Great food and friendly service!
Unfortunately not the best cinnamon roll. They dough had started to ferment so it smelled like alcohol. And the flavor just wasnt that great. Not the worst just could use some work.
Good place for b-fast and lunch... neighborhood gathering spot with laid back atmosphere. Food is good quality and reasonable prices. Coffee drinks as well. Indoor and outdoor seating. Dog friendly with a water bowl outside.
Really nice customer service... really poor coffee and unimpressive pastries. :/
This place really irritates me, they have the best cinnamon rolls in town. Yet they consistently don’t make enough. It’s like they do it out spite since they have other pastries. If you’re lucky enough I highly recommend their cinnamon rolls.
The staff is not very friendly
This restaurant is amazing and I am so happy to hear it has reopened!
The food was excellent. We had croissants and I had a chicken salad sandwich. The bread was soft and delicious. The chicken salad was great and the arugula added a perfect spice bite. French fries good as well. The staff seemed quite put out that they had to help us. All of them... It was almost impressive how they all seemed to not want us there... Food was great though, so Id go back & deal with the unfriendly service for the yummy food
See update below. I really want to like this place, but some of the people at the front counter are very rude. The coffee is good and food is decent. The seating area is really nice, especially in poor weather. Fleur De Lis could be amazing if the cashiers were more polite.Update (08/2018): The past few times Ive visited, new cashiers have changed the entire feel of the cafe. They are now very polite and professional. Thank you for the change!
I just had a fantastic bahn mi sandwich and a blueberry pastry for lunch. Soooo happy Fleur De Lis is open again!!!!
Everything was incredibly delicious, felt good to my body, and the staff are warm and friendly. I come here for my coffee and pastries all the time, and sometimes a meal with a friend. Live music often, comfortable place to be.
Went around 1030 on Tuesday, good amount of people but didnt have to wait. I got an almond flavored latte and a blueberry muffin. Yum! The muffin was very soft and the latte was perfect. Nice atmosphere with some covered outdoor seating. Very friendly staff too.
We are always on the hunt for a selection of wheat free baked goods. You can always find vanilla, but I think people forget that 6 year olds love rich flavors, mine especially likes red velvet. Which has been impossible to find, until we found this gem, thanks to my husband paying attention. They had so many options my daughter took a while to decide. She was so excited at all her options. The price is a little more than what I am use to, but having made some of these things from scratch at home, I completely understand. Especially since the ones we have tried are so moist and baked perfectly, I almost wish they taught classes. It has become one of our favorite treats to get my daughter and she loves having a place she has options.
The food here is terrific! You cant beat the great flavors of this place. The only downside is the kitchen closes at 2pm so you have to come before then to be able to order a hot meal. Service is friendly and fun. Lots of locals hanging out.
I love the pastries here. Had breakfast once and liked the potatoes especially. Coffee is good
Great neighborhood Bakery.
Wonderful bakery options both savory and sweet, as well as great bread selections to bring home. Dont overlook the lunch specials as I did for so long, theyre fantastic. Another prized feature is that Fleur De Lis has a nice large atmosphere that is comfortable for use as a meeting space for medium sized groups.
I have stopped giving my business to Fleur de Lis because, while I enjoyed walking there in the morning, the baristas after 8am were reliably sour-faced and rude. Not the kind of attitude you want to see first thing in the morning, especially when you have terminal cancer. The barista with the bright hair that typically opened was quite nice, but I didnt always get there early enough for her. Baristas in Paris (who can have a reputation for being rude) are more friendly than these girls. Please rehire or retrain your staff in customer service.
I don’t get to come here very often but each time I have I’ve been very impressed with how delicious the food is!
Great food but slow customer service. The place is vibrant though. Breakfast and lunches items are good.
Limited menu but got some excellent rye bread to take home
Such a darling bakery. We went for breakfast on a Saturday! Raves for the breakfast sandwich, avocado toast with fried eggs, and the quiche!! Yummy vanilla lattes. Lots of room here!
Such a pretty and relaxing bakery! Their outdoor patio is gorgeous and the perfect spot to catch up with a friend or work on a laptop. Their food looks good! Iced tea and cappuccino were on point. Glad to have stumbled upon this hidden treasure!
Great pastries. Great service. Reminded me that supermarket pastries are no substitute for the real thing.
Great French-style bakery, outside (dog-friendly) seating. Good food for brunch, lunch or snacks. The toys, kid books, and play space have disappeared, but still a great place for families.Update: the kid stuff seems to have returned! Some happy kids here entertaining themselves while mom and dad enjoy breakfast.
I walked in to this bakery last Sunday with a friend. We were the only ones there to order and stood there at the counter for probably a good 3 minutes before anyone even acknowledged our existence. There were probably 7 employees behind the counter just carrying their own conversations or doing something else, it almost felt like they didn’t even want to help us. I told my friend if they don’t take our order in 10 seconds I’m walking out. Just at that time somebody finally stepped up to take my order.I ordered a cinnamon roll. It was decent, but nothing special. I won’t be back.
Awesome people and consistency great products
Always a favorite when meeting a friend in the neighborhood for a coffee or light lunch. Surprisingly busy during the week - a good sign that this place will remain open for a while to come.
Fleur de lis is such a gem. I camped out to get some work done, and had an amazing! pastries and delicious americano. Such friendly staff, warm and welcoming space. Like I said, its a gem.
Awesome cafe! We were staying right around the corner from this place and decided to go for a cup of coffee and ended up eating a full breakfast. The food and coffee was great. Also the big plus was the play area for the little ones we have a 8 month old son that was totally occupied the whole time we were there thats 5 stars in my book. If your in the Hollywood area its a nice little spot to sit and have a cup of coffee and some breakfast.
This has become my boite. Their croissants arent the best in town, but theyre very good, along with the rest of their offerings (breakfast and lunch served all day). I keep coming back because of the relaxed casual atmosphere and friendly staff. And I finally had their grass-fed burger, which was great.
Delicious Almond croissants, coffee and bread!
Pretty good biscuits and gravy. My husband got some tasty bread and pie. Large seating area. Its a drag they are only open until 3 pm.
Love to start a morning walk from here. Great coffee and pastries. Meals are enough for 2 people! Staff is friendly and many customers are local regulars.Highly recommend if you want to take a moment to relax.
Best latte in the city and the baked goods are awesome.
The people here are very friendly every visit. I like trying their different pastries and breakfast items. It’s super spacious inside.
Food is good but customer service was not. I wanted to add onions to my burger but was told they couldnt do that. They only option was to pay $2:00 for mushroom and onions. Just wanted raw onion but no, and she didnt offer to ask the chef if they could do that. Also asked for my order to go after the order was entered and the girl got annoyed and scolded me saying that I should ask for it to go before I order as that makes it easier on them. Basically not considering the customer at all. A shame as Ive just started a job in the neighborhood and was hoping this would be a good regular lunch spot.
Really nice dessert. Small bench options but good!
The staff there are so friendly and are great to chat with. The owners, Greg and Lisa are amazing. Greg makes the best French pastries i have ever tasted, it is hard to find a croissant that comes close to his. The spinach and ricotta breakfast croissant heated may be one of the best tasting savory pastries created. Whether grabbing a coffee and pastry to go or sitting in for lunch, Fleur de Lis is a must go!
I always stop here before long road trips and order a bunch of food. Their breakfast is always delicious. Sometimes overpriced. I wish that they offered larger coffee sizes, especially since I stop here before getting on the road for a long time. Their menu is small and a bit limited, but good.
Good espresso drinks. Bland food that somehow takes forever to come out. Service is meh. If it looks busy its likely full because everyone is waiting ages for their food. After two visits I can comfortably say Ill return for the coffee but probably wont eat there ever again.
My go-to breakfast and brunch spot! Seems always busy (a good sign) but we can always find a seat. Food is so wonderful, coffee is tasty fresh, pastries are delicious, and atmosphere is casual comfortable.
Great food and live music. I love the atmosphere and open space!
I love this place. The french toast is amazing. Its only available on the weekends. It can get crowded fast because its so delicious so if you see a table snag it while someone else orders you the drinking chocolate and a croissant.
Wonderful find for us - we were waiting for Dania to open, and enjoyed great coffee, pastries, and staff!
Was a comfortable oasis on a cold day while waiting on new tires for my 64 T-Bird! Add hemp milk and low-glycemic brownies and Ill raise it to 5 stars. :-)
Great Little food spot! I go all the time and the pastries are to die for! Love the vibe and the staff.
Perfectly pulled latte, delicious pastry, and a warm atmosphere belying its large and open space.
One of the best bakeries in town. Especially for French Bread
Wonderful food served with a smile. Found this quaint place with both indoor and outdoor seating while investigating where Ramona from the Beverly Clearly books lived and played. This was the old library before it was remodeled into the building it is today.
Delicious bakery treats, scones, lava cakes, and coffee is very fine with bottomless cups.
Pretty good, but Ive had better.Food was tasty, yet felt overpriced, it was $48 for three of us to get breakfast & coffee. The staff was friendly but I felt an underlying annoyance from them. This might be a non-issue but theres no fountain drinks, I like a soda when I go out, and a can isnt a realistic option imo. Also theres stone or something atop the tables, it fits the look but it just means my phone gets scratched and Im more likely to break the ceramic, which felt pretty heavy when I carried my coffee.Again, its not a bad place, if I was in school again I would maybe come here for homework, but the cafe by the theater is much better overall.
Great place. Friendly service, great food and good coffee. Lots of space and various size tables make it easy to meet with a larger group.
Cant wait till they reopen! A favorite. Product as well as staff always on point.
Delicious! The coffee, the breakfast croissant, wow!
I wish I had more time in the mornings to go here everyday! Great little local spot in Hollywood; fantastic breads and pastries. Probably one of the best ciabatta rolls Ive ever had. There was even live music the past few times Ive gone on a weekend.
Great bakery with coffee and lunch. Nice big space with lots of tables inside and out. Plus it used to be the old Hollywood library which is a lot of fun.
Perfect family spot. Great food. Big place. Reasonable prices. Definitely worth a try.
Great food and coffee. Wonderful atmosphere and love music on Saturday mornings
Loved the crepe brettone wad exceptional and Matthew was such a nice person
